Oasis town was bustling with activity when I and Davian entered, the preparations for the festival were in full swing.

Davian watched at the way the people coordinated by keeping in balance their business as well as the preparations. It was almost endearing to watch how excited they were to celebrate the end of the decade long war.

"At the end, peace is a better option." Davian mumbled as he watched the happy people.

"Yes, but sadly enough, it never comes without a cost." I spoke before smiling at the ones who greeted me as soon as they saw me.

"Hello, Master!"

"Good noon, Master!"

"Master, are you here to check the preparations? Look I made this special thing!"

"Ah, it’s Master!"

"Master brought a guest!"

"Master, we aren’t done with the preparations yet!"

"This is the young Prince Davian, the one who was with Prince Eric and Prince Rune when the talks of peace treaty were being made." I said making him look at me.

"Oh, that Prince!"

"Beast of the Battlefield!"

"I heard he was quite young, but he looks like a man already."

"And he’s really handsome too!"

"Here, take this, Prince. Eat well and grow stronger!"

"Any stronger and he would flip the kingdom." I commented making the people laugh.

"Welcome to Oasis!"

Davian looked at the people who welcomed him with warm smiles handing him fruits and snacks as we passed by. He blinked with wonder as he stared at the stuff in his hands.

"Do they shower everyone with so much love? Or is it because I was there at the peace treaty signing?" Davian asked handing the goodies he got to the attendant who walked with us.

"My newspapers gave the accurate intel of all of your achievements at the battlefield so, they know about you from there, they’ve read stories about your valor. They’re showering you with so much love because you fought to bring peace to them." I explained and felt his eyes on the side of my skull.

I stopped in front of the boutique which I had uprooted from the small town of Aurelia and made here.

I entered the establishment making the attendants inside turn and look at me.

"Master!"

The ladies gathered around me at once.

"It’s been so long, Master!"

"How many we help you?"

"Are you here to buy new outfits?"

"No," I spoke and saw as one of them walked towards Davian.

"Are you here to buy new outfits for him then?"

"Did you pick someone up again, Master?"

"Well, he’s quite handsome and even his build is good so, a lot of outfits would suit him."

I sighed as I watched them flutter around him ready with the measuring tape and some ideas.

"Calm down, ladies, I came to pick the gift I told for Kai. Where’s Flora?" I spoke making them all look at me.

"Master?" I turned my head and saw the middle-aged lady approaching us, she was dressed in a proper outfit with the air of professionalism.

She curtsied before me and smiled, "It’s an honor to have you here again, Master."

I smiled, "Likewise, Flora."

She straightened up and then looked at one of her attendants who quickly understood what needed to be done and walked away for a moment.

"You must be slumped with work," I spoke as I saw the attendants slowly getting back to their work.

"Well, the celebrations are always busy times and it’s been quite a long time since we got to be this busy." She said glancing at her attendants and then with a smile she added, "It’s quite a blessing to be this busy."

I smiled back and her eyes flitted over to Davian.

"This is Prince Davian," I said gesturing towards him and I looked at him, "And this is Madam Flora, the most popular designer of Aurelia."

"Oh, Master, I’m not that popular." She chuckled.

"Don’t be modest, Madam Flora. After the debutante I’m sure you will wish for some free time." I said and she looked at me.

"Right, the dress that you asked to be designed, it’s ready." She said and my eyebrows jumped.

"Oh, really? That’s good, I’ll send the lady for the fitting then," I said.

"Which lady?" Davian asked and I and Flora exchanged a look.

"The lady that’s close to me." I spoke making his jaw drop.

"What?! So you do have a lover, Master!" He gasped and Flora chuckled.

An attendant walked over with a red box in her hands and I checked the stuff that I had ordered to be made. The quality and the making of it was impeccable.

"It’s perfect." I said and Madam Flora sighed with a smile.

"I’m glad, I’m sure that Young Master Kai would love it." She said and I smiled as the attendant took the box to pack it properly.

"Be honest, Master. Is this lady Kai’s mother?" Davian whispered and I rolled my eyes.

"Don’t go around having strange thoughts, Prince Davian." I spoke and then looked at Flora and her attendants.

"Why don’t you try some outfits on him while I take a look at that dress?" I spoke gesturing at Davian.

"Re-Really, Master?!" The attendants’ eyes glowed and I looked at Davian who didn’t seem to understand what was going to happen.

"Sure," I said before I walked away with Madam Flora.

"I want to see that dress too, Master!* Davian said but before he could follow us, he was dragged away by the attendants who were eager to dress him up in different outfits.

I walked in the back with Madam Flora and she walked over till a door where some of her prepared dresses were stored and in there I saw the dress that I had told her about on a mannequin.

"Is it just as you had envisioned it, Master?"

I hummed as I stared at it for a long moment watching as the colors blended and the fabric flowed over in the design just the way as I had wanted.

"I’m sure, Lady Reina would look like a Goddess descended from the Heavens in this dress." She spoke with her eyes glowing.

I watched with a smile as I had never actually been interested in dressing up but with this dress three of my motives would be fulfilled.

First of all, Madam Flora’s boutique’s name would be put on a pedestal and would become famous throughout the kingdom. Second, it would outshine Princess Colette by lightyears and thirdly, I could execute my Grandfather’s plan.

"I’m just a kingpin in the midst of all the planning," I spoke, "but I will try to enjoy it, thank you."

"I’ll send a message to the lady, she’ll be here within two days to try out the dress." I said looking at Flora.

"And you did a great work, Flora."

She smiled, "I won’t take the whole credit for myself though, Master. This idea and design is your brainchild, I only materialized it."

I sighed and glanced one last time at the dress, "It still takes a lot of talent and hardwork to make something so beautiful, Madam Flora."

We returned back to the main area and I saw Davian rushing towards me dressed in a flowy red tunic which seemed to go beyond his hips and the white puffy trousers, the gold accessories glinted in the lights and he seemed to have escaped before they could do the buttons on his tunic. His chest and abdomen were completely exposed for full view, the chiseled chest and the rippled abdomen were pretty eye-catching.

"Help me, Master!" He rushed over and his behind me holding my shoulders to avoid the attendants who were chasing him.

"Um, ladies, I’m sure I only asked you to try outfits on him. What’s this?" I asked.

"Ah, His Highness ran away while we were trying out this outfit on him,"

"It’s the style influenced from Nelius kingdom!"

"His Highness would look absolutely stunning in this outfit!"

The crazed glow in their eyes even made me uneasy as I raised my hands.

"Now, now, I’m sure you are very excited but your time is up." I said making them groan while Davian sighed behind me.

"Pack everything that you dressed him in, I’ll buy it all." I said.

"What?" Davian asked as he stepped beside me after knowing that he wouldn’t be filled up again.

"Well, it’s your first time in my territory, I couldn’t just not shower you with gifts for all of your endeavours." I said making him avert his eyes and scratch the back of his head.

After that we walked out and went around the town until Davian stopped in front of a jewellery shop.

"You want to buy something here?" I asked and he hummed.

We walked in and the shop’s attendant quickly bowed welcoming us in.

"How may I help you?" He spoke.

I looked at Davian and he stepped ahead looking at the accessories that were on display before he pointed at a dangling earring. Set against black velvet, the earring caught the light with quiet elegance. A vivid blue gem, square-cut and framed in gold, sat at its peak—serene yet striking. Below it, a crimson tassel hung like a whisper of movement, hinting at grace once worn.

Davian observed it for a moment and then looked at me, "What do you say? Will Kai like it?"

My eyebrows jumped as he asked and I observed the earring for a moment more before I smiled, it would suit Kai and I could also replace the blue stone on it with the mana stone in future so that it could be of more use.

"It’ll suit him." I confirmed and he smiled before he asked for it to be gift packed.

He then walked around to where the ladies’ ornaments were displayed making me follow curiously.

He looked at the different accessories before he picked three and now they say before us with him staring at those three accessories with the focus of a connoisseur. I wondered who the lucky lady was.
