Everyone's Class: One Effort, 10,000x Bonus Reward!-Chapter 272: Regarding the Treasure of the Swarm, Negotiation
In the quiet shop, Brock and Irene both snapped their heads toward Aiden on the sofa. Their expressions were worlds apart.
Brock’s eyes suddenly lit up with excitement. He rushed over to Aiden and asked directly, "Aiden, do you really have a way out?"
"I knew it! You’re always surprising me, you crazy guy!"
Irene, on the other hand, looked full of suspicion. She kept a watchful eye on Aiden and said, "Human, are you joking?"
"Now is not the time to hide your true intentions. If you push too hard, I can’t guarantee what I’ll do."
To Irene, this suspicious human definitely had some hidden agenda.
When Allen was chasing her, she had caught a whiff of this human’s scent. Now, she found him again with Brock.
As for coincidence, Irene refused to believe it.
Either this human named Aiden was one of Belith’s minions, or like Belith, he was after the location of the Swarm treasure.
The latter seemed unlikely to Irene. The human’s strength was just too weak.
"What’s going on? What happened?" Brock noticed something was off and quickly asked.
Irene said nothing, just staring fiercely at Aiden.
Facing the hostility of a Great Venerable-level Abyss creature, Aiden’s expression remained calm.
After Brock returned, he was certain that only he could solve Irene’s trouble and lift the crisis facing The Black City.
Even though Irene was a Great Venerable-level Abyss creature, Aiden had enough confidence right now!
"Do you think I’d waste time with such boring jokes?"
"If you don’t want to waste any more time, why not seriously consider the possibility that I actually have a way?" Aiden rested his head against the sofa, quietly watching Irene.
Irene’s expression shifted, but she finally asked, "What way do you have?"
Brock stopped worrying about why Irene was so hostile toward Aiden. What he wanted to know most was exactly what method Aiden had to resolve the crisis.
"Right, Aiden, tell us!" Brock said urgently.
Aiden stood up calmly, stretched, and glanced lazily at Irene.
"I’ll say it again: everything is a coincidence. If I could, I wouldn’t want to get involved in this mess either."
"I have important things to do too. I don’t want to waste time."
"So, if I can ensure you leave The Black City safely and avoid those giant Skeletons, what price will you pay?"
"Price?" Irene’s expression flickered in surprise. She instinctively glanced at Brock.
Seeing this, Aiden didn’t waste any words. He simply turned and walked toward the door.
"Wait, what are you doing?" Irene panicked immediately and shouted.
Aiden replied coolly, "What? Did you think I’d help you for free?"
"I know Brock, but to me, you’re completely irrelevant. Besides, using that method doesn’t come without a cost."
Brock took a deep breath, nodded, and quickly said to Irene:
"There’s no other way right now. Just trust Aiden. I didn’t believe he could produce Crimson Blood before either."
Irene stared seriously at Aiden. Finally, she stiffly nodded and said,
"What do you want?"
Aiden smiled, slowly turned back, and sat down on the sofa again. "That depends on what you have."
"But first, I need to know: what exactly is the Swarm treasure?"
The moment the words left his mouth, the atmosphere instantly grew heavy.
Power radiated from Irene’s body. Her expression turned cold as she slowly said, "So, you’re also after the Swarm treasure."
"Speak. Which faction do you belong to?"
"Human? Demon? Belith? Or one of those old men from Heartspire?"
Aiden’s pupils contracted slightly. Heartspire’s old men?
This was going beyond his expectations. Clearly, the Swarm treasure was extremely valuable to attract so many factions.
By now, Aiden vaguely realized that even if he learned the location of the Swarm treasure through Irene, getting it wouldn’t be that easy.
"None of the above. I represent only myself. If I must explain, I’m just curious."
"Besides, don’t you think that the fact I don’t even know what the Swarm treasure is proves I’m not your enemy?" Aiden spread his arms and spoke quickly.
Irene froze. She’d been so on edge she hadn’t even considered that angle.
Brock, watching from the side, sighed and spoke up. "The information about the Swarm treasure isn’t exactly a secret. Many Abyss creatures know about it."
According to Brock, the so-called Swarm treasure is a special Demi-Sacred Artifact. It was crafted by a God-King ranked powerhouse from The Swarm, using fragments of Sacred Artifacts.
Its tier exceeds Mythic Rank items, but it hasn’t quite reached the level of a true Sacred Artifact. It’s more like half-Sacred.
"That’s right," Irene said. "Our Swarm treasure is called the Transmutation Altar. It can turn various High-tier materials into powerful energy to reinforce our kin, boosting their tiers and potential."
"Okay, I’ve said all I need to say. Now, tell me your plan. How can I safely leave here?" Irene stared hard at Aiden.
Aiden’s face remained calm, but his mind was swirling.
Demi-Sacred Artifact? Transmutation Altar? Capable of reinforcing a race?
His best equipment right now was just the Bane of All Races Ring, a Mythic Rank item, plus the blessing from the Supreme Miko.
To say he didn’t want a Demi-Sacred Artifact would be a lie.
Based on Irene’s description, while the Transmutation Altar couldn’t directly boost combat power, its importance to a race was unimaginable.
Yes, there were many Mythic Rank Reclasser humans, but compared to their total numbers and other Abyss species, they were incredibly rare.
"Why aren’t you answering? Are you sure you have a way to solve this crisis?" Irene couldn’t help but ask.
Aiden smiled and replied directly. "A Mythic Rank item with long-distance teleportation should be enough to get you safely out of The Black City."
The moment he finished, both Brock and Irene’s eyes widened in shock.
"You have a Mythic Rank item?" Irene asked, unable to believe it.
Brock was equally stunned. As a Forge Master of the Red Dwarves, he could craft Legendary Rank gear, yet he didn’t even own a single Mythic Rank item himself.
This alone proved just how rare Mythic Rank gear is!
And Aiden? He’s just a low-level human, yet he owns a Mythic Rank item and can even produce so much Legendary Rank material.
Brock couldn’t help but ask, "Could you be the student of a human divine powerhouse?"
"That’s the only explanation for why you have a Mythic Rank item."
Irene’s gaze turned serious. She could overlook an ordinary human Reclasser, but she couldn’t ignore the student of a human divine powerhouse.
"Now I understand why you’re so calm," Irene said slowly.
Seeing their reactions, Aiden decided not to explain further.
His real focus now was negotiating for his own benefit. An identity tied to a divine powerhouse would definitely fetch him a better price.
"Alright, enough talk. What exactly can you offer as payment?" Aiden asked directly.
Irene pondered for a long time, then clenched her teeth and spoke up. "I fled in a rush and didn’t have much on me."
"Here’s a deal: You help me leave safely, and I’ll give you ten pieces of Legendary Rank material. How does that sound?"
"Ten pieces of Legendary Rank material should be enough for you. After all, you only need to use that Mythic Rank teleportation item once to get them easily."
Upon saying this, Irene looked at him with anticipation.
Aiden didn’t even hesitate before rejecting her offer.
Ten pieces? That’s way too little. He wasn’t lacking in materials at all.
"Ah, Irene, you’re missing the point," Brock interjected. "Aiden doesn’t need Legendary Rank materials. He just pulled out a huge pile for me to forge Legendary Rank gear!"
He really wanted to help Irene, but unfortunately, he didn’t have anything himself that would interest Aiden.
If it were anyone else, they would have accepted her offer by now.
But Aiden was different. He simply didn’t need more Legendary Rank materials.
"If it’s Mythic Rank material, I bet Aiden would agree," Brock thought to himself.
Irene’s eyes snapped wide open in disbelief. "Your divine powerhouse teacher really values you! Giving you so much Legendary Rank material?"
It was obvious. A level 50 human Reclasser wouldn’t have those High-tier materials unless they were gifted by a teacher or a relative.
Now, Irene was truly stuck. She had no idea what payment she could offer to make Aiden help her.
"No rush. Take your time. We have plenty of time," Aiden said casually while summoning Faye.
He pulled out a handful of Legendary Rank materials and tossed them to Faye as a snack.
Faye, drooling with hunger, didn’t hesitate before diving in.
Irene was still scratching her head over what to pay when she suddenly heard chewing sounds.
She looked up and froze. There she saw Aiden casually feeding Legendary Rank materials to his pet!
But it wasn’t over yet. Just as she was reeling from the shock, she watched Aiden calmly pull out another piece of Mythic Rank material.
