Rebirth: Revenge of the abandoned heirress-Chapter 45: Tickets booked
Chapter 45 - Tickets booked
Jazmine smiled faintly at the end of her long speech. Yes, yes, Caroline could destroy her later. But right now, Jazmine was going to destroy her.
"I warned you." Jazmine informed her. Being the good person she was, she didn't want Caroline to later complain that Jazmine bullied her.
She gave a signal to the security guards who had also gathered along with a small crowd, after hearing the commotion. They quickly understood and followed her command.
"Miss, follow us out of the restaurant. You have disrupted the moral code. The restaurant will no longer serve you."
Caroline was stunned.
"Are you joking? Do you know who I am?"
"Miss, please cooperate with us. Otherwise, we'll have to use harsh measures."
"I'll have your whole family killed before dawn!" Caroline was not exaggerating. That was how far the Anderson family's influence extended.
About killing people before—well, they had a history of it.
The security guards looked wary. They glanced at Jazmine. She gave them an assuring nod. They understood and continued to carry out their President's command.
"What are you doing? Don't you dare touch me..." Caroline looked around. Jazmine was smiling, openly mocking her.
How dare that bitch!
Caroline was not stupid. She knew that Jazmine had won this match, so she yielded. But she would get back at her! She would make her pay a thousand times!
"Fine! I'll follow you out," Caroline glared at Jazmine and said. "Don't assume you've won. When I make my move, you'll regret ever crossing me."
With that, under the humiliating scoffs of all the people in the restaurant, she walked out. Caroline and her friends had their heads lowered. They could hear the faint whispers of the crowd, mocking them. Some of the people had even recorded their interactions. She had never been humiliated like this in her entire life!
"Idiot. She should have known who she was fighting with," Frank laughed. "Bitch spoiled all the good mood."
"You don't seem like your mood is spoiled. On the contrary, you sound quite cheerful." Jazmine glanced at one of the waiters and said, "Bring me the CCTV recording."
"Yes, President," the worker quickly complied. Jazmine couldn't say Caroline was stupid. It wasn't her fault that she didn't know this restaurant was already owned by Jazmine. In fact, Jazmine had only recently bought it. The restaurant was small, but it was in a prime location. The business was good. It was even in nice condition.
"Let's get you to the hospital. You need stitches... But wait, what are you planning to do with that video?" Frank looked excited. He couldn't wait to see Caroline get humiliated even further. He wanted more drama! He wanted more entertainment! His Jazmine was so fun to hang around with!
"What do you think?"
"I think you should—"
Frank said something, but Jazmine couldn't hear him. Suddenly, her brain went silent. All she could hear was a high-pitched scream. She looked around. Frank was talking normally—his lips were moving energetically. But she couldn't hear him at all. The voice was only in her head.
She placed her hands over her ears. Her head felt light, her vision dizzy.
Frank noticed something was wrong when Jazmine stopped, her face pale.

"Jazmine, are you alright?"
But she didn't hear anything. Just an ear-piercing scream that numbed her senses.
Suddenly, she collapsed.
At the Sunset Square apartments...
When Sebastian received the news from Rolf, his heart became unsettled.
"Brother Sebastian, would you please stop smoking? You know I have asthma," Elias complained. His words were, however, totally disregarded. Silence followed, interrupted only by another stream of thick smoke that suffocated him into crying.
Elias was going crazy.
It was Jazmine who was injured. Why did he have to suffer?!
"I've informed our pilot. Your private jet is ready for the flight to the city," Elias said.
Silence.
"Brother..."
"What is the name of that woman?" Suddenly, Sebastian broke his silence.
"Who?" Elias was confused for a moment. "The one who hurt Jazmine? Caroline Anderson? Do you want me to have our men kill her? Wait... that would be too kind. So you want me to have her abducted, then slowly tortured to death?"
Sebastian didn't say anything.
"I'm going there. You'll have to manage the office during my absence."
What?!
Elias wanted to cry. He had been happy that, with his brother's absence, he could have a few days off. He had even booked tickets for a vacation!
