Before Caroline could say anything, Jazmine took the initiative.

"Are you threatening me?" Caroline stepped closer and sneered at her. "My cousin won't be happy once he learns what you said to me. Neither would he be happy once he learns you go on dates with other men."

Caroline knew she could easily scare her using David's name. Whenever his name was brought up, Jazmine would immediately start begging for an apology. After all, she wouldn't want Caroline to say bad things about her to Marcus.

"You can tell him whatever you want." Jazmine only smiled lightly.

Didn't she used to yield whenever David's name was brought up? She would do whatever Caroline demanded just so she wouldn't say anything against her to David. What happened to her now?

"Wench." Caroline shoved Jazmine while walking away. Jazmine could have easily avoided her, but she accidentally slipped, and her head bumped into a table. The crowd around them gasped. Caroline stopped, looked back over her shoulder, and laughed. Her friends followed her with insults.

Frank panicked. He quickly went down by her side. Her eyes looked dazed. Her face was cold as ice. She didn't show any movement.

"Jazmine. Jazmine!" He called her and shook her, but she gave no response. Jazmine frowned after being oscillated continuously. What the hell?

We don't touch an injured person—definitely not shake them like that! Did her stupid friend not even know that?

"I'm alright." Jazmine finally said after some time and glowered at Frank. "Stop shaking me now! I said I'm alright!"

"You are not alright. You are bleeding profusely."

That gives no reason to continue shaking me!

Frank looked genuinely concerned, which stopped Jazmine from cursing him. Finally, after making sure she pressed a tissue paper against her head to stop the bleeding, he shouted at Caroline. "Stop right there!"

By now, Caroline had also observed that something was wrong. Jazmine was bleeding. A lot of people had gathered around them.

Caroline stopped and turned back to look. Frank's face looked terrifying. No one could have guessed that the charming Prince Frank could bring out such expressions.

"Do you know the consequences of your actions? I won't let you off! I don't care if you belong to the Anderson family or not. I won't let you off until you pay for it!"

Caroline looked upset. Exchanging insults in the open didn't matter. Even harming your enemies behind their backs wasn't much of a problem because no one would find any evidence. But this... she had unintentionally injured Jazmine in front of everyone. This could be problematic.

"I—I just lightly bumped into her. She faked the fall."

"Does that blood look fake to you?"

"It was unintentional. Why are you creating such a fuss?" Caroline knew she belonged to the great Anderson family. She didn't need to fear. They couldn't do anything to her. Even the rumours could be eradicated using her family's influence.

Slowly, Jazmine got up. Still holding a tissue paper against her bleeding forehead, she walked to Caroline. Her eyes were cold and sharp.

"I warned you, Caroline." Jazmine's eyes were cold yet threatening. "Apologize to me, and I will let you off. Decline to do so, and I will have you and your friends thrown out of the restaurant."

Caroline laughed at her warning. Her friends also followed her and threw insults at Jazmine.

"What does she think?"

"Is she mad?"

"She can't compete with Caroline."

"She must have gone mad after hitting her head."
