Why must the devil be Defeated?-Chapter 1087 - 951: Too Bad, She Met Me
"Clang..."
Under the faint glow, chains that had completely sealed the space around the Beizut Family gradually transformed into particles of light and vanished into the air.
The Beizut Family, almost half-destroyed, was also exposed to the sunlight, looking rather desolate.
"Is... is it over?"
The knights and maids felt a lingering fear as they watched everything unfold, exchanging glances and trembling with fright.
"It’s over, indeed."
Lasha stood in a corner of the shattered wall leading to the corridor, confirming this fact.
"Yes, yes!"
Lilith nodded repeatedly, the evil energy in her eyes beginning to fade.
Standing amidst the ruined debris, Shane looked at the blood-dripping iron ball formed from intertwined chains, withdrew his clenched hand, and restrained the magic power surging through his entire body.
"Whoosh!" "Whoosh!" "Whoosh!"...
Only then did figures start to appear around the Beizut Family in succession.
Strong individuals from different corners of the Royal Capital came one after another, revealing astonishment as they looked at the ravaged Beizut Family.
"What happened?"
"An enemy attack?"
"Did someone attack the Hero’s family?"
"Oh my god..."
The strong individuals started to clamor noisily.
Among them were even goddesses of the Divine Race, which showed how shocking the battle between Shane and Pan Demnim was.
"Buzz!"
At a certain moment, amidst the trembling air, two figures, accompanied by a burst of radiance, appeared above the Beizut Family.
"Goddess Lidas!"
"Goddess Anima!"
Upon seeing those two figures of light, the strong individuals immediately widened their eyes and knelt down on the ground.
Lidas and Anima, however, paid no attention to the strong individuals around them and only descended near Shane.
"You came too, huh?"
Shane, naturally aware of the arrival of Lidas and Anima, turned his head to look at the two goddesses.
The two goddesses walked up to Shane with solemn expressions.
"It seems it’s over."
Anima remarked.
Lidas couldn’t help but complain out loud.
"If the space around hadn’t been sealed by the Demon Roar Chain, we would’ve arrived long ago."
The Goddess of Fate explained.
The two had sensed the aura of Pan Demnim early on and rushed over, but unfortunately, the space in the area was sealed by the Demon Roar Chain, preventing them from barging in directly.
This is why, after the battle ended, the two goddesses appeared belatedly.
"Since you’re both here, Loqi should have sensed the situation here too, right?"
Shane glanced around, trying to find his fiancée.
But the two goddesses signaled Shane not to bother looking.
"The Royal Family has noticed what’s happening here, but they haven’t come over."
"They’re probably worried about a diversionary tactic, so they’re holding fast in the Royal Palace, not daring to come out."
Lidas and Anima stated this.
"That’s true."
Shane nodded.
In these times, any enemy trap could appear, so it’s better not to mobilize everyone over every little disturbance.
Especially the Royal Family members, who are the rulers of the only remaining Mitra Kingdom in the Human Realm. If something happens to them, the Kingdom would be essentially doomed.
Therefore, even if they’ve discovered the situation here, they probably wouldn’t dare rush over casually despite their immense concern.
Loqi might have rushed over at the first opportunity, but she was likely persuaded otherwise by Lidas and Anima.
Similarly, Vivian, Tielle, Merica, and You Lin are also absent.
Some of them have left the Royal Capital to fight on the front lines, some are out searching for signs of the Demon Infant to reduce their numbers and lessen the threat to the Kingdom. Even if they notice the anomaly at the Beizut Family, leaving an important front line to rush back immediately isn’t easy for them either.
Of course, there were still many who managed to arrive, including the Beastman Priest Group approaching from afar.
Shane saw Iris, Oz, Mafi, and other Beastman Priests, nodded at them, exchanged gestures before turning back to focus on Lidas and Anima.
"Since you’re here, you can decide what to do with this Evil God yourself."
As he spoke, Shane waved his hand, and the Demon Roar Chain, entwined into an iron ball shape, instantly turned into particles of light and dissipated.
Within, a blood-covered goddess fell out, landing on the ground.
This was a goddess Shane and the others had never seen before.
The goddess had long white hair, appeared to be a woman in her thirties, with a voluptuous figure, wearing a revealing, thin black evening dress, exposing her shoulders and deep cleavage. She was exceptionally voluptuous, an alluring goddess capable of making men’s blood boil.
"Ugh..."
The goddess writhed slightly on the ground, as the blood flowing from her body gradually formed a puddle, showing how seriously injured she was.
And upon seeing this goddess, a commotion gradually arose from the surrounding.
It was a disturbance originating from the goddesses of the Divine Race.
"It is indeed her."
"I thought it might be her."
"The aura and magic power with such malice, among all the evil gods, there is only her, isn’t there?"
The goddesses whispered among themselves.
Both Goddess Lidas and Goddess Anima looked at this goddess and sighed in succession.
"It is indeed her, the evil god, Pan Demnim."
"Did she actually infiltrate into the royal capital?"
Goddess Lidas and Goddess Anima seemed to have a deep impression of this goddess.
"What’s wrong? Is this goddess well-known?"
Shane asked the two.
Their response was somewhat subtle.
"If you say she is well-known, then she is indeed quite famous." Goddess Lidas let out a light hum and said, "Now it’s alright, but in the past, whether among the Divine Race, the Demon Clan, or the Human Race, her infamous name was indeed notorious."
Goddess Anima nodded as well.
"Pan Demnim, one of the only two Limit Level powerhouses in the Divine Race besides the Three Goddesses of Time and Space, the evil goddess who controls deception and taboo, she is indeed the most powerful evil god in the Divine Race apart from Lilith."
Goddess Anima shared the origin of this evil god.
Nearby, Iris, observing the situation, heard this name and suggested her voice somewhat surprised
"So she is Pan Demnim? The evil god who gave Gewura the blessing?"
Iris’s words made Shane raise an eyebrow.
"Is she the evil god who gave that mongrel Beastman a blessing?" Shane muttered, "No wonder she said her Blessing has received much care from me."
It turns out, he had connections with this evil god in such a place.
Goddess Lidas and Goddess Anima continued to speak.
"Within the Divine Race, she is seen as an extremely dangerous problem child, being the existence who controls deception and taboo. She greatly advocates for all things taboo not allowed in this world, even enjoys them from the heart, always wanting to spread fear and despair on earth to lead mortals astray."
"If Lilith is feared by the world because of her power, then she is feared because of her personality. Even Demon Clan powerhouses who have confronted her on the battlefield have feared her tremendously, even Demons view her as despised and wish to eliminate her. Unfortunately, she can use her own Authority to deceive even death itself, making the reality of death nonexistent, leaving everyone helpless against her."
The introduction of Pan Demnim by the two goddesses made Shane gradually understand what an unwelcome person this evil god was.
"It is unfortunate that she encountered me."
Shane spread his hands, glancing at the evil god collapsed on the ground.
Goddess Lidas and Goddess Anima also relaxed their expressions.
"Indeed, you are one of the few in this world who could leave her helpless."
Goddess Lidas seemed to feel very good.
"If Artemis knew about this, she would surely be very happy." Goddess Anima also smiled delightedly and said, "In the Divine World, Artemis is usually the least fond of Pan Demnim."
It’s apparent that both Goddess Lidas and Goddess Anima are happy about Shane taking down Pan Demnim.
It shows that this evil god certainly did not spare these two goddesses from headaches in the past.
Lilith, too, appeared sometime later, crouching down and extending a small finger towards Pan Demnim lying in a pool of blood, poking her repeatedly, causing her body to shudder, without any means of resistance.
This evil god barely retained a shred of life.
However, aside from that, she’s incapable of doing anything.
Shane showed no particular mercy, directly planning to crush her.
Surviving is testament to her resilience, worthy of being someone even Demons couldn’t overcome.
"Why is she here?" 𝒇𝒓𝙚𝒆𝔀𝓮𝓫𝒏𝓸𝙫𝓮𝓵.𝓬𝙤𝙢
Goddess Lidas started to furrow her brows.
"Was she intending to act against you?" Goddess Anima looked at Shane in puzzlement, "It shouldn’t be, she has always evaded every Hero in the past since she is greatly apprehensive about the Holy Sword capable of restraining and truly killing her. Logically, she should not make a move against you."
To this question, Shane responded decisively.
"She indeed had no intention of attacking me." Shane squinted and said, "Her purpose here is Lasha and Lilith, apparently wanting to take both of them to the newly born Primordial Demon."
Upon hearing this, Goddess Lidas and Goddess Anima first froze, then their faces simultaneously darkened.
They first glanced at Lilith still poking Pan Demnim, then turned to Lasha standing quietly aside, speechless, before instinctively averting their gazes.
Seeing this, Shane’s heart contemplated.
These two goddesses seem to have an aversion to Lasha.
Indeed, likely because Lasha is the Demon King’s Body, the Demon King’s skeletal remains, identical in appearance to the Demon King?
From their demeanor, they seemed to have long obtained information about Lasha being by his side, yet consistently avoided mentioning it, suggesting they were monitoring but didn’t wish to interact with Lasha, to prevent unnecessary trouble.
While Shane contemplated this, Goddess Lidas and Goddess Anima both surveyed Pan Demnim, then spoke to Shane.
"Can you temporarily entrust her to us?"
Goddess Lidas was entirely serious.
"We want to attempt extracting some intelligence from her."
Goddess Anima agreed as well.
Shane pondered and then nodded.
"Sure," Shane consented, but said, "However, I’d also like to listen in."
Unlike with Gewura back then, this evil god is tricky and unique, likely possessing considerable intelligence regarding the newly born Primordial Demon.
Rather, Shane was curious to hear how much this evil god understands about the new Primordial Demon.
Goddess Lidas and Goddess Anima, naturally, had no objections and immediately agreed.
Thus, Shane handed Pan Demnim over to the goddesses, taking one last look at the nearly half-destroyed Beizut Family, exhaling a sigh.
"Need to find someone to properly repair it."
