Chapter 197: He didn’t apologize, right? Let me help.III

He’d never felt so embarrassed as a teacher before. He secretly glared at Aramith’s group.

The students were startled. Bring him back? Did they hear right?

"Don’t just stand there like fools! Get back here!"

"Yes, sir!" They quickly came back.

"Oh, don’t get mad at them. Everyone makes mistakes," Lynnor teased.

His jaw tightened.

This woman...

Every word she spoke twisted the situation further out of his control.

And the worst part?

She wasn’t breaking any rules. He couldn’t believe how helpless he was in this situation.

Before they reached her, Lynnor raised her hand, and a strong wind picked the student up and brought him before her.

"No! I don’t want this! Don’t do this! Please!" He begged, but Lynnor gently shook her head.

"Don’t worry, it’s normal. As a member of the disciplinary committee, I will give you your punishment," Lynnor said.

Member of the disciplinary committee???

Everyone was startled, but seeing that their teacher said nothing, they didn’t comment.

Lynnor quickly grabbed him by the back of his neck again and put him down with force.

His already injured legs amplified the pain.

He cried out again.

"Nah, that’s not an apology," Lynnor chuckled.

Then, without warning, she smashed his face into the ground

Crack!

The sound assaulted them, and they couldn’t believe what they were seeing. She was a monster.

"Still not apologizing?"

Slam!

She cried out again.

"Mm?"

Slam!

"I’ll count. Three...Twoo...One..."

"I...sssoee. I—"

Slam!

"Not clear enough."

Squelch!

Aramith watched silently.

His expression didn’t change, but his eyes lingered for a moment longer than usual.

Even he...hadn’t expected this much.

As excessive as it all was, he didn’t interfere.

This was the heavy price one had to pay for crossing someone like Lynnor. And it was all optional. They could have avoided it altogether.

He secretly looked at Lydan and Jade, who were frozen. Jade had tears streaming down her face, as she was the one who called them here.

Blood splattered all over, skin and bone mangled together, and his face was unrecognizable.

He was now limp and made odd sounds from his throat.

One of the students took a step back, then froze when Lynnor’s eyes flicked in his direction.

FEAR!

This feeling had never been felt this strongly before in their lives.

Lynnor was ruthless!

The wind user girl couldn’t believe it

Her fingers trembled.

Not just Aramith...

The teacher... Lynnor...

None of them was normal.

What kind of place did we just step into...?

Lynnor kept going, the dull thud ringing in their ears, and all the while she kept asking him to apologize, giving him only a second before the next smash. And she had a smile on the whole time.

Sylvia clicked her tongue softly.

"Messy."

But she didn’t look away.

When he finally passed out, Lynnor sighed in disappointment.

"A student insulted a teacher and refused to apologize. He should be sent to the disciplinary hall and given fifty strokes of the cane."

The words were like a bucket of burning coal poured over them.

The metallic scent of blood thickened the air.

It clung to the back of their throats.

Fifty strokes?

He won’t survive that. The cane she was referring to was huge and long, and also metal.

This was going to cripple him at the very least.

"Oh, I just remembered, you two lied to me too," Lynnor suddenly turned to the two boys who lied that Aramith attacked them first.

Without waiting a second, they both shot forward, getting on their knees before Lynnor and smashing their foreheads onto the ground as they apologized.

The strong scent of blood filled their nostrils, reminding them of what awaited them if they disobeyed.

"What was that? I didn’t hear you."

They hurriedly apologized again and again, then Lynnor finally laughed. But that laugh scared them more than anything.

"Okay, now since you affected my students too, apologize to them too."

They moved without a second to spare, quickly kneeling before Aramith, Mozrael, and Sylvia.

They apologized till Lynnor was finally satisfied and told them they were free.

She then told them to send the unconscious student in for his fifty strokes, and that they were to also receive ten strokes each.

"Let this be a lesson. And the next time you look for my students to cause trouble, try talking to me first."

When no one spoke, Lynnor turned to the teacher. "By the way, don’t waste your time going over to trouble Ilthane about me hitting a student. I did that to save his life."

"..."

Save his life? How could she say something like that?

But she was telling the truth. If she didn’t step in and slap him away, Aramith might have sent him off to have a nice chat with his ancestors.

"Don’t bother thanking me. He’s too filthy anyway." She looked up. "Time is flying by really fast. Shouldn’t you be going now? Or there’s something else you want from me?"

As they left, Lynnor waved at the teacher, who almost coughed blood from holding his rage.

"See you later!"

He didn’t respond. After coming here, he was going to get Lynnor into trouble, and her students as well, yet he just received the greatest embarrassment he’d ever had in his entire life.

And what made him even more infuriated was the fact that once he appeared there, he couldn’t leave. That would even be more embarrassing.

Lynnor didn’t spare him face. She kept escalating things till this result came out.

This vicious woman dragged his name through the mud, not even caring in the slightest about him as she acted.

Lydan and Jade glanced back at the four of them, feeling overwhelmed and embarrassed.

Lydan couldn’t imagine how he would be able to show his face before them again after that.

No one spoke.

The courtyard, once loud with conflict, had fallen completely silent.

Only the faint sound of dragging footsteps remained as they left.
