Overlord Tamer: All My Pet Monsters Have God Potential-Chapter 122: Astral Sphere: Black & White
Chapter 122: Astral Sphere: Black & White frёewebnoѵel.ƈo๓
After talking with the Emperor-rank pets, he left and went to begin his experiment session.
The contract was strong, but it was established, and hence, he believed he could somehow make changes to the binding within Tavros’ soul with his Monsters and break it without killing the Pet Monsters.
It was already the morning of the next day, 11 p.m., so John spent 2 hours in careful experimentation and understanding the technical aspects of the contract that were a bit hard to grasp.
But he didn’t need to understand the contract entirely. All he needed to do was to cut that one part in Tavros’ contract so that even if he died, his Pet monsters would live.
John got up as he was done. He had decided to spend only 2-3 hours in the experiment daily.
Azelis and Jibril were also done in two hours, as Jibril had successfully created her Spirit Physique and transferred the progress from her body to it.
John refreshed the shop several times and found another Monster Geno Art selection box. Its price was 12,000 Xhal Drops this time.
John brought it and picked up the best one out of the three, a 10-star Monster Geno Art.

Jibril began training in it right away as Azelis had resources to at least make her learn her first Geno Ability of this Monster Geno Art.
Sonic was a sound variant with a non-elemental spiritual power—Sound + Waves. Razewater was the same. It was Water + Destruction, and Runelight was Light + Rune Art.
Jibril was shocked to see the list of exotic Geno Abilities this book had of these advanced attributes and carefully read all of them to decide which one she should pick as her first Geno Ability.
Meanwhile, John and Azelis left the Monster Paradise.
Azelis had her private small island that originally belonged to her parents, where she had grown a considerable amount of resources.
So Azelis and John flew there on her dragon.
During the journey, John also changed his Monster Geno Art.
John still had refined space/light energy stored from the carrot pieces he had eaten and was fed after he fainted. Although all carrot pieces were refined, not all of them were consumed to manifest his Soul Talent.
He still had some energy left, so he separated Light energy from it, creating a cube before storing it.
Now, he only needed a Gravity-attributed resource of Silver-rank to learn the first Geno Ability of his new Monster Geno Art, which he had acquired from the River Stream Gravitas Flower that he had brought in his shop refresh session.
He couldn’t handle the flower himself with his soul energy since the flower was an Emperor-rank resource, so Azelis had extracted just enough gravity energy from a single petal of the flower without damaging its flow.

The trip to Azelis’s island was 3 hours long.
Among the thousands of islands of the Mysrin Archipelago, which was like a huge maze in the sea, some islands were completely hidden and protected via spirit formations.
Azelis’s parents’ island was one of those, so only she knew the way to the island.
An hour later, John was done establishing the basic foundation patterns of his new Monster Geno Art and then looked at the list of Geno Abilities.
There were tons of abilities to choose from.
But John had a clear aim on what kind of ability he wanted because first, he was going to learn a Soul Technique after this, which was Space and Light attributed.
[Soul Technique: Starlight Rider]
[Type]: Movement / Buff.
[Attributes]: Space / Light
[Effect]:
—> Stage 1: Ignoring terrain and obstacles, the user can see anything within a 300-meter range and instantly travels in a straight direction to the desired location point. The distance of vision and travel can increase depending on mastery of Space and Light.
This technique cost freaking 300,000 Xhal Drops, and it had monstrous potential because John planned to learn Space and Light both, and upgrade as well as evolve this technique in the future.
The Light energy he stored was going to be used to practice this technique and learn it, and hopefully awaken Light mastery as well.
But for now, he looked through the list and finally chose his new first Geno Ability.
[Astral Sphere—Black & White]: Conjures a sphere of desired size, either black or white.
1. Black Astral Sphere warps space in a circular motion in its entirety while radiating an intense attraction force. If anything is absorbed entirely, it is put in a state whereby it will automatically be expelled after five seconds or through the White Astral Sphere while suffering constructive overall damage. Soul Power and Stamina consumption affect the size, attraction force, and constructive damage potency.
2. White Astral Sphere warps space in a flaring motion, stopping anything from approaching it while destabilizing space. It also directly transports out anything that the user desires, either objects directly from storage space or expelling any projectile executed via soul technique or monster skills from any point within 5 meters of the user, which acts as a portal to the White Ashtral Sphere according to the user’s control.
John began learning this superb Geno Ability that could open new utilities for him.
It was also an instant kill Geno Ability to people or monsters weaker than him.
The damage formula was fairly simple for this one because Constructive Damage ignored resistance and defense. This damage was directly done to a target in its entirety.
When expelling from a white hole after going through a black hole, it affects the entire existence of an object or a living being.
Currently, he had a Soul Power of 500, and using Soul Synergy, it could go to 1000.
His Physical stats were 100 STR — 100 DEF — 100 SPD.
With that, if he used this Geno Ability and the Black Astral Sphere devoured a peak Silver-rank like him who had Physical stats of 100 - 100 - 100, right when he ran out of his Soul Synergy duration, he could come out from the White Astral Sphere as completely mangled flesh.
Without proper defense to one’s physical body’s foundation, A.K.A a physical buff-type power, this Geno Ability could instantly kill.
But to John, he looked forward to using the white Astral Sphere as a surprise bombardment point, from which he could unleash projectiles—skills of his Monsters.
John imagined commanding a hundred Monsters to launch their projectile-type skills and all of them bursting out of White Astral Sphere right behind his enemy’s ass.
’Well, I’m going to get a lot of opportunity to do that now that I am upping my game.’
Without further ado, he focused and began earnestly learning the Geno Ability, creating its complex patterns on his Spirit Physique carefully, essentially carving its execution method into his mind.
It took John one hour and several minutes to complete it.
Without further ado, he tapped into the Geno Ability.
Snapping his finger, John conjured a Black Astral Sphere at the furthest possible distance as it appeared 123 meters away.
He only consumed 10% of his Stamina for it, so its size was small.
’The range is far enough, I guess. Once I break through to the Gold-rank and make my soul power reach 1000, and I get higher mastery in the attributes, the range will increase and make it more convenient for more use.’
John practiced more as he conjured Black and White Astral Spheres, while Azelis watched.
"The space bends and gets absorbed around the black one, while it becomes destabilized around the white one. Interesting and looks terrifying as well," Azelis muttered.
"It’s very powerful," John said with a chuckle. "And also very useful for multiple things."
"Anyway, how long until we reach the island?" John asked.
"Forty-five minutes."
"Alright, I should be able to get basic mastery of Starlight Rider by then," John said as he sat down.
"Starlight Rider? Is that the second Soul technique you’re going to learn?" Azelis raised her eyebrows. "The name sounds cool."
"Yep." John grinned. "Its power is even cooler."
...
Nexus City.
Waxing Moon Tree Inn.
It was a giant and aesthetic tree, decorated with beautiful orange-light lanterns and other lighting items around various dining pavilions on its branches, with the trunk acting as floor entry/existing hubs as well as elevators.
It was one of the luxurious restaurant hotels in Nexus City, belonging to the Lockham family.
In the VIP area, the Ouroboros Hall Sect leader had just returned from his trip and was dining here, still in the dark about the situation at the Ouroboros Hall.
He hadn’t even activated the communication since he was tired and wanted to eat first.
Alas, just as he picked up his first bite, the door of his dining room burst open.
"I’ve stated, I don’t want any disturbance," Hall Master Varek spoke, his expression dark. "You better have a good reason, Jerry Lockham."
Jerry Lockham, the younger brother of Lockham family head.
"Well, how about the reason being—Your Executive Azelis resigned."
