My Perfect Female CEO-Chapter 997: Lawless
Kasam hung his head, no longer daring to use Terminator as an excuse to prove his innocence.
Ye Fan remained calm and coldly said, "Kasam, you keep pretending to be innocent, hoping for our forgiveness to spare your life. Do you think that’s possible? Let me be honest with you, no matter how much you embellish your story, you won’t escape death. You committed deserving deeds, and you’ll have to pay the price. There’s no negotiation on this."
"Exactly, we have long suspected you were the one who attempted to assassinate Wild Alliance Headquarters. All of my eight hundred elite guards are dead; you must pay for their deaths. If it weren’t for seeking confirmation of the internal affairs, we wouldn’t have come looking for you. We’d have directly executed you. But you still have a bit of value left; that’s to help Nami become the new leader. As for you, you must die."
Ku Eryue was extremely blunt, her attitude towards Kasam was cold to the extreme.
"I am the successor to the leadership, and now it’s time to fulfill my mission. The only thing you can do is to step down gracefully, leaving a good name in the hearts of Ba Country’s people and have a dignified death." Nami spoke with no room for negotiation.
Kasam’s eyes were full of despair; he no longer dared to hold any unrealistic illusions. He hadn’t expected that he would meet his end today. After being indifferent to Ghost’s abandonment, he knew he was done for, only to fall swiftly in another form.
"I know, I deserve death. Leaving a good name is my best resting place, I suppose." Kasam smiled bitterly.
He spoke dispiritedly, "Tomorrow, I will summon Ba Country’s top officials to a meeting. I will resign, and you will succeed to the leadership position."
"That’s some self-awareness left in you; I trust you wouldn’t dare to play tricks." Nami stared at Kasam.
"You can only blame yourself for unforgivable deeds. Let me ask, ever since Chu Group settled in Ba Country, how much aid and support they have provided you? When God Organization coerced you, you certainly had fantasies, imagining God Organization helping you unify Ba Country and play a stronger role than Wild Alliance, right? Then wipe out opposition forces and finally eliminate Wild Alliance, thereby unifying Ba Country. Unfortunately, you overestimated God Organization; today’s God Organization is no longer what it used to be and cannot give you satisfactory help anymore." Ku Eryue mocked, as she could imagine Kasam’s thoughts.
Kasam remained silent, having to admit that Ku Eryue’s words were indeed what he had thought.
After being coerced by Ghost, he fearlessly attacked Wild Alliance Headquarters.
Without God Organization’s support, Kasam was led into a dead end.
"You said Ghost coerced you, where is he?" Ye Fan asked, knowing about Forbidden Powerhouse, one of God Organization.
"Once certain you were dead, he left, about half an hour ago." Kasam answered every question honestly; he had come to terms and dared not have other thoughts.
After understanding the internal situation of Kasam’s attack on Wild Alliance Headquarters and resolving the Ba Country leadership issue, Ye Fan, Ku Eryue, and Nami temporarily stayed at Kasam’s place, to follow the plan once morning arrived.
"Kasam’s guards are unreliable; we need to find trustworthy people to replace them." Ku Eryue suggested, "Benefactor, I’ll contact relevant heads of Wild Alliance and bring a team of people."
"Don’t be too conspicuous; act quietly." Ye Fan instructed.
After Ku Eryue agreed, she dialed Poison Butterfly’s phone number. At this moment, Poison Butterfly and a few heads took advantage of the night and had gathered nearby Wild Alliance members around Ba Country’s residence, where Kasam handled affairs and Ba Country’s top officials worked. This quick execution had already completed the encirclement of the residence, just waiting for the important targets to appear at dawn before launching attacks on key spots, controlling Ba Country’s related top officials.
"Kasam attempts to cover his crimes but cannot escape our eyes. Once morning arrives and the main targets appear, we’ll initiate attacks according to plan. Kasam must pay the price, even if it means turning Ba Country upside down. He can only blame himself for betraying Wild Alliance first." Poison Butterfly said, "Once the attack begins, all attack units must capture their targets and hold positions without delay. No matter how substantial the sacrifice, we won’t retreat a step."
Just as Poison Butterfly was deploying troops and planning a rebellion, she received a phone call from Ku Eryue.
Poison Butterfly was overjoyed, and upon answering, exclaimed, "Leader, is that you, leader? Are you okay?"
"Leader?" The nearby heads each craned their necks towards Poison Butterfly upon hearing the word.
"It’s me. What could have happened to me? It’s just a pity about those brothers at headquarters; around eight hundred guys, all dead, and not a single body to show." Ku Eryue lamented.
"Don’t worry, leader. I’ve already arranged a killing plan. It’s very likely that Kasam, that bastard, did it."
"Leader, we’re going to avenge our fallen brothers; we must take Kasam’s life."
"The brothers are ready; when dawn arrives, we’ll attack."
"Leader, just watch; the brothers will show off for you, also letting Kasam know that Wild Alliance isn’t to be trifled with."
"Leader, we’re waiting for your command; you’re the leader, the most noticeable first shot must be fired by you to be impressive."
Poison Butterfly and the others spoke excitedly, one after another.
"All of you, shut up! What are you doing? Where are you? Tell me clearly." Ku Eryue shouted sternly. Sensing something amiss, she tightened her guard, fearing Wild Alliance might act uncontrollably.
The heads shrank back and pushed Poison Butterfly to the front.
"Leader, here’s the situation: upon learning that you encountered trouble, the brothers did not idle; they surrounded Michael’s camp. After gathering some information, we were more certain that Kasam was the mastermind. Thus, the brothers had me take the lead. We’ve gathered around Ba Country’s residence and have completed the iron cage encirclement. Once dawn arrives and Ba Country’s top officials appear, we’ll seize control of everyone and kill Kasam, this treacherous scoundrel." Poison Butterfly said excitedly.
"You’re truly lawless, worthy of my brothers; good job!" Ku Eryue praised, full of delight. Her pride in the brothers reassured her that even if she were really gone, they wouldn’t disappoint her. Stepping up to take charge of Wild Alliance was entirely doable. 𝒇𝙧𝙚𝓮𝔀𝓮𝒃𝙣𝓸𝒗𝒆𝒍.𝙘𝒐𝒎
Recalling the incident, Ye Fan did not let her contact Wild Alliance’s heads, wanting to see Wild Alliance’s reaction.
The facts proved Wild Alliance’s reaction was very much to Ku Eryue’s liking.
