MTL - Mermaid Feeding Rules-Chapter 10
But this speculation was not confirmed at the time, and only Blake was special in the laboratory.
Boyce thought of himself.
During the time he became a breeder of S-37, Boyce heard a lot about it from other people, and the mermaid in front of him was completely different from other people.
Boyce's eyes fell on the sentence, and he fell into contemplation: If this guess is true, will I be too?
—
Boyce went to the cafeteria to eat after getting up to wash up, and many familiar colleagues greeted him on the way.
"Good morning, Boyce." The oncoming researcher smiled and waved at him.
"Good morning." Boyce smiled at him, too.
After the man passed him, Boyce glanced back at his back and frowned.
I don't know why, but people around me are especially warm to themselves today.
Boyce walked into the cafeteria with doubts.
It was lunch time, and there were a lot of people sitting in the cafeteria, and no one noticed Boyce who had just come in.
"Professor Chris should be back soon?"
"It's already on the way, and I'll be back in a few days."
"What about Aurier?" An experimenter was a little curious and touched the person beside him. "You are under him, how is Deputy Director Aurier feeling?"
Olier always felt that he was no worse than Chris, so he was not convinced that Chris was the director of the institute and he was only the deputy director.
According to his temper, his mood should not be much better at this time.
The person being questioned swallowed the food in his mouth, and then slowly said, "Professor O'Leary is in a good mood these days."
Others don't quite believe it.
The speaker was also a little puzzled, and said his guess: "Maybe our experiments have recently yielded results?"
Boyce finished his meal, sat down near them, and mentioned himself as they talked.
"Professor Chris is back, Boyce should not stay in the S-37 breeding room."
"Isn't Boyce a student of Professor Chris? Professor Chris had mentioned before that he wanted him to be his assistant."
One person said, "Professor Chris won't let him stay there."
"Boyce is gone, who is the next breeder for S-37?"
The atmosphere was silent for a moment, and one of them broke the silence: "It will be arranged above."
"There's always someone going."
After speaking, he stood up: "I'll go first."
He picked up the dinner plate and left the table. Seeing that the person he had just discussed was sitting not far away, he was stunned for a moment, nodded to Boyce and left.
—
Boyce met Ivey on his way to the S-37 breeding room.
He remembered the news he had heard in the morning and asked Ivey: "
Is Professor Chris coming back? "
Ivey nodded: "I asked Juliana today, and she said the professor was already on his way back."
Ivey put a smile on his face: "Oiler can't be so **** you when the professor comes back."
"Juliana and I have always been worried about you."
After saying goodbye to Ivey, Boyce went to the breeding room alone.
As soon as Boyce opened the door of the breeding room and walked in, the mermaid hiding under the water heard the familiar footsteps, its ears moved, and it raised its head to look at the side of the glass that penetrated the light, but its body did not move.
The fully-armed Boyce glanced in the direction of the fish tank. He didn't notice the existence of the mermaid, and was slightly relieved.
The fish that had been soaked in the fish tank for a long time has been salvaged by Boyce. S-37 has not eaten for a few days, so Boyce brought some fresh fish today.
The blood-stained fish was thrown on the surface of the water, swaying in circles. Boyce threw only one piece to be on the safe side, and then separated the glass again.
Boyce didn't try to communicate with the merman during the day, and when he was done he came down through the lift.
There was a trace of regret in the eyes of the underwater mermaid, and against the cold glass, watching him from the blind spot of Boyce's perspective.
Boyce, who felt that he was being watched, raised his head and glanced at the silent fish tank. He lowered his head in confusion and continued to read the information Cyril gave him.
Before Boyce left the breeding room, the mermaid finally appeared, Boyce subconsciously stared at the blue figure, and it started to eat again, but it only ate half of the fish that Boyce dropped.
As if deliberately, when the mermaid floated up, it passed the piece of glass in the breeding room. The tail fin spread out in the water and brushed lightly through the glass. Boyce in the breeding room could even clearly see the scales on its body.
When it re-dived after eating, it also chose the same route, exposing its tail, claws and muscles through a piece of glass.
Boyce looked at the blue figure and had to admit that aside from the danger of the mermaid, it was indeed a charming enough creature.
