With this fight as an example, Kate’s next opponents immediately gave in as soon as they could. They did not try to attack Kate, instead, as soon as the fight began, they began defending.

And after receiving a few punches they would need give in, to save their energy, while preventing themselves from suffering serious injuries that could affect their later fight.

So, apart from the first opponent that she faced, Evan, Kate did not face any other challenge that could stop her. She was able to finish all of her five matches successfully, gaining 15 points.

On the other hand, Evan, after losing to Kate, he was not only frustrated, but angry as well. So, the next opponent that he faced suffered quite a lot.

This guy, upon seeing that Evan was beaten by Kate, he thought, maybe he had a chance against him. Therefore, he did not give in, despite knowing that there was a difference between the two of them in terms of strength.

He thought, maybe he could capitalize on the few injuries that Evan had suffered during the fight against Kate.

Unfortunately for him, due to the anger that was boiling in his heart, Evan did not hold back at all. From the start of the fight, he went all out, with the intention of venting all his anger on his opponent.

Therefore, within just a few seconds, the opponent that was facing him, making him feel dizzy. Each blow was heavy, to the extent that he was disoriented, without much of a chance of saying that he was giving in.

In the end, he could only continuously receive the attacks from Evan, even though he had already understood that he could not beat him.

"Maybe. I don’t know what is going on through that mind of his, but most probably, this might have been my fate if I was not strong enough." Kate shrugged as she responded.

At the same thing, she felt an urgent need to get stronger. If she was not strong enough, she might end up in such a helpless situation.

"Well, don’t worry, if I encounter him, I will make sure that he is sent to the infirmary. It would be better if I am his next opponent, to make sure that he finishes amongst the very last in the batch.

It would be even better if he ends up being eliminated, due to not having sufficient points, and finishing among the last five." Lina said while smiling.

After the fight, Alex’s impression of Evan had changed completely. Initially, he had developed some interest in Evan, after the time that he noticed that this guy did not have much of a reaction to his landing in the ring.

And later on, despite him being defeated by Kate, he had demonstrated some good skills, and Alex thought that he was a good seed to be recruited into his new team.

But from what had just been demonstrated, Alex immediately gave up on that idea. He did not like this guy’s character, so, he thought, there was no need to bring someone like this into the team.

At the end of the day, this guy seemed to have some kind of conflict with Kate. Since he was thinking of recruiting Kate into the team, there was no way that he would recruit her enemy, as that would cause chaos in the team.

Instead, he decided to pay more attention to another person. At least, not only was she skilled in terms of combat, but she seemed to have a very good relationship with Kate.

As for the progressive fights that Evan was involved in, he was able to easily defeat the other two opponents. Each one of them gave in after just a few punches, having learned from the previous encounter between Evan and his second opponent.

As for the final fight, it was a safe Lina’s wish had been fulfilled. She was Evan’s final opponent. Even though she had not been his third opponent, but she thought, it would not be too bad to send him to the infirmary.
