Foreign Land Reclamation By a Vegetable-growing Skeleton-Chapter 1953 - 1514: You Were Driven Away by These Guys?
Ange didn’t react much, but the Monarch straightened up and said faintly, "Last time it got away. This time, let’s mark it first. Ange, let the Little Tree give me some spores, and I’ll sprinkle them on it later."
Ange nodded and raised his hand to tap the Little Sapling on his head.
The Little Sapling extended its branches, wrapping two rings around the Monarch’s wrists, one on each hand.
If you ran away, no one blamed you. But you ran away and brought others back, so there’s no way we’ll let you escape again this time.
The Ancient Man Snake didn’t know it was on the Monarch’s kill list first. At this moment, it was repeatedly allowing its roots to break through space, extending into the surrounding void. This was a method learned from how the Tree of Ten Thousand Realms explores its surroundings.
Soon the roots sent back feedback, and the Ancient Man Snake said, "There had been a space passage nearby, just recently formed. Be careful."
Dark Star couldn’t be bothered with it. What is there to be careful about regarding creatures that need a space passage to move?
Seeing Dark Star ignore it, the Ancient Man Snake realized something, whispered a sentence, and stopped speaking. Although it sensed the space passage was somewhat large, not like an ordinary space passage, with Dark Star’s attitude, it didn’t bother to remind it further.
At that moment, a huge energy spear shot over from the distant pitch-black void, piercing into the hard shell like lightning.
Boom! A fierce explosion created a small hole in the surface of Dark Star’s hard shell.
Indeed a small hole, considering Dark Star’s massive size. Its form is several dozen times larger than the Gray Divine Star, and it’s not in a decayed state. Instead, due to the hard shell, it resembles a scorching God Star ready to burst.
The blown hole quickly turned into a vent, and a massive column of fire spewed out, drawing an arc before falling back.
The fire column landing on the hard shell didn’t cause any burn, as the shell’s temperature was as hot as the fire column. It merely rolled a few times and seeped back through the shell’s crevices.
An energy spear blasted out just a small hole, and there were no other changes.
Then at the next moment, more energy spears continuously shot over.
Dark Star explored the direction from which the energy spears were shot, his thought extended very far, but he couldn’t see where the spears were launched. These spears seemed to be fired outside his field of vision.
"How is this possible?" Dark Star was puzzled. He is a God Star, yet his vision can’t find the enemy. Why can the enemy see him? Could it be blind luck?
Dark Star let the energy spears strike the hard shell, while nudging his main body sideways.
Dark Star’s main body is several dozen times larger than the Gray Divine Star’s. Each movement is a great consumption, greater than enduring dozens of energy spears.
Yet, he still dodged, leaving the trajectory of the energy spears.
The next seven or eight energy spears shot along the original trajectory, grazing past, missing him.
But starting from the ninth spear, energy spears began deviating from their path, turning towards where he had shifted, still grazing his body but closer than before.
Then the tenth spear veered more severely, catching up with his offset and landing on him again.
Boom! Another hole was blasted in the hard shell.
"It really can see me. How can its vision be farther than mine? If its vision is farther than mine, why use such low-level energy attacks?" Dark Star was utterly shocked.
In the void, the scope of vision often represents the thought’s extension distance. Since everyone no longer relies on eyesight, it’s about thought and soul. A larger scope often indicates a stronger consciousness and vigorous spirit.
The current situation feels like a powerful consciousness is using a small water gun to shoot at him, amusing, isn’t it?
Unfortunately, he guessed wrong. The one using the small water gun isn’t the powerful consciousness but the Little Angel. The Little Angel conjured an energy spear, sharing Ange’s vision to observe the space depression’s location, then throwing energy spears there.
The space depression indicates a massive object in that direction. Just throw towards it.
Of course, the Little Angel isn’t really aiming to attack the enemy, just like a child with a small water gun, spraying at people.
Dark Star stopped dodging, as dodging consumed more than enduring the energy spears, but getting sprayed was frustrating too. In one of the holes in the hard shell, a fire column soared upwards, rushing towards the direction of the energy spears.
A casually shot fire column had a diameter of over twenty meters, continually expanding at the front during flight, lengthening and shrinking at the rear, slowly forming a meteor shape large at the front and thin at the rear.
The meteor fire column destroyed all the energy spears along the way, heading straight towards the Little Angel.
Ange tilted his head, the Monarch stepped forward, but faster than them was the Little Angel, who widened her eyes in delight, pushing forward with both hands—Star Flame Starlight·Shine.
The thick beam of light crashed onto the massive meteor, exploding into a splendid energy spark, the violent shockwave sweeping the field.
The Little Angel, even more thrilled, spread her large wings, leaping into the spark like a moth to a flame.
Certainly, the bursting energy spark couldn’t burn the moth like a flame. Instead, the Little Angel brushed it clean, absorbing it into herself.
Smacking her lips, the Little Angel grabbed with one hand, a cluster of Star Flame condensed in her palm, handing it to Ange.
"Is this the opponent’s Star Flame? Did you just trick their Star Flame characteristic into your hands? Was this intentional?" Negris rushed up, shocked, and said incredulously while looking at the Star Flame.
Earlier, Ange said he didn’t know the opponent nor how to respond. Well now, he knows.
Anthony was amused, not thinking the Little Angel did it deliberately, probably just sprayed and coincidentally enraged the opponent, who retaliated.
Simultaneously, the scene where the meteor exploded reached Dark Star’s perception. The silhouette of the Little Angel launching the light beam and the creatures standing behind her were all outlined in Dark Star’s awareness.
"Who are they?" Dark Star asked, projecting these impact silhouettes before the Ancient Man Snake.
"This one is the Star Flame Giant, this is Ange, this is the Star Skeleton, this is Anthony, who calls himself the Origin Spokesperson. The others aren’t important." The Ancient Man Snake had a deep impression of Ange’s group, deducing them from the impact silhouettes.
"So, you were chased away by these guys? Even abandoning the Tree of Ten Thousand Realms?" Dark Star’s tone was filled with confusion and bewilderment.
