Young Master Vance Has An Enchanting Wife!-Chapter 336: Slashed and Wounded
After Adam Owens steadily parked the car and opened the door to get out, two men immediately got out from the car opposite, and judging by their looks, they were up to no good.
"What are you doing?"
Adam also noticed something was wrong with the men and quickly shouted sternly.
Without a word, the two men rushed up and punched Adam. He was caught off guard and fell to the ground, stunned by their punch.
Seeing that something was wrong, May Morgan hurriedly got out of the car and tried to escape, but there was no way she could outrun those two men. Within a few strides, they caught up with her.
One of the men grabbed May’s arm, attempting to drag her back. She turned around and punched him. Although she wasn’t as tall as he was, her punch landed on his chest with much force, causing him to crouch down in pain. 𝒇𝒓𝒆𝒆𝙬𝒆𝒃𝓷𝒐𝓿𝙚𝙡.𝒄𝓸𝒎
"Damn, how can this girl be so strong?" He clutched his chest, hissing in pain.
The other man quickly and unceremoniously reached out to grab May’s arm. However, May was agile; she turned to dodge, and while doing so, stomped hard on the man’s foot, making him jump back in pain while holding his foot.
May wasn’t experienced in fighting, but when it came to strength, neither of the two men could match her. Her natural Divine Power was no joke.
"Damn it, I’ll teach you a lesson!" The man who first crouched down regained his strength, and as he stood up, he suddenly pulled a dagger from his waist, thrusting it fiercely towards May’s chest.
"Are you crazy? Didn’t the second young master say we shouldn’t harm this woman’s life?" Seeing this, the other man hurriedly pulled him back and shouted a reminder.
Second young master? Logan Vance?
May quickly associated with Logan Vance, as in the whole of Silverwood City, only Logan was referred to as the second young master. Besides, he was probably the only one who wouldn’t give up and still wanted to make a comeback, right?
"Did Logan send you?"
May glared at the two and questioned sternly.
The two were momentarily taken aback but didn’t nod. Instead, they gave May a menacing look and threatened, "Why are you asking so many questions? You’ll find out who’s going to meet you when you come with us!"
"Pfft, why should I go with you?" May wasn’t dumb; there was no way she’d leave with these two crooks.
As she turned and was about to run, Adam suddenly came to his senses. Seeing the two men holding knives, he quickly rushed at them. One of the men turned the knife sharply, aiming it right at Adam’s stomach.
Blood instantly gushed from Adam’s abdomen, and May froze for a moment before she suddenly screamed, "Adam!"
She ran back to Adam, supporting him as he fell to the ground due to excessive bleeding. Seeing the large patch of blood on his stomach, she hurriedly said, "Don’t be afraid; I’ll take you to the hospital now."
Adam covered his wound and pushed May, indicating she should hurry and leave: "Don’t worry about me; just go."
"I won’t leave; if I go, you’ll die!" May peeled off her jacket to cover Adam’s wound to prevent further blood loss and then quickly ran to Adam’s car. There was a phone inside, and she needed to call for an ambulance.
But after only a few steps, the two men blocked her path: "I’m warning you, if you don’t behave, this man will end up like you!" The man holding the bloody knife pointed it at May’s chest, threatening her viciously.
May took a deep breath, her eyes sharpened, and suddenly stepped towards him, "You’re forcing me, so don’t say I didn’t give you a chance!"
Seeing the woman suddenly approaching fearlessly, the man’s face showed a trace of panic. He gripped the knife firmly, retreating while threatening May again, "Don’t come closer, don’t think I won’t stab you!"
May, however, quickly charged up to him, and while he was stunned, she suddenly reached out and snatched the knife from his hand.
The knife sliced a bloody mark across May’s palm, but it quickly healed, and now May had flipped the situation, holding the knife close to the man’s chest.
"Get lost, or I’ll take your lives!" May shouted aggressively at the two thugs.
The two men were dumbfounded, exchanging glances. Seeing the glint of the knife in her hand, their faces turned pale.
The decisive and swift act of May grabbing the knife bare-handed was still vivid in their minds. No one bleeding would have no blood drop from their hand, but this woman’s hand was unscathed. It was terrifying!
"Are you... even human?" The two were so frightened their faces turned white, stammering as they asked May.
May held the knife tightly, watching them vigilantly, retreating quickly to Adam’s car, bending over to grab the phone from the driver’s seat, and dialing 120 quickly.
"Get out!" After calling for an ambulance, May sternly threatened them.
Hurting Adam had already crossed May’s line. If it weren’t for her urgency to save Adam, she truly wished she could stab these two herself. No, that’s not right—the real mastermind is that bastard Logan. She should stab even him!
Not knowing what other terrifying aspects this woman might have, the two men shivered and finally stopped entangling, quickly driving away.
The ambulance soon arrived, and when the doctor carried Adam onto the vehicle, Adam was already somewhat unconscious. Afraid he was in danger, May didn’t dare to leave and followed him to the hospital.
During the rescue, Audrey Vance hurried over. The Owens Family had just one son, whom they cherished like a precious jewel. Now, suddenly, he got stabbed and sent to the emergency room, scaring even Adam’s grandmother into coming over.
Seeing May outside the emergency room, Audrey angrily pulled her aside and asked, "May, what happened to Adam? Why was he injured?"
May dared not hide anything from Audrey and answered truthfully: "Adam and I went to see my father, and on the way back, we were intercepted. Someone tried to kidnap me, and Adam took a knife for me..."
"Slap!" Before May could finish, Adam’s grandmother decisively slapped her, pointing at her reddened cheek, threatening, "May, I’m warning you, if Adam is fine today, that’s good. If not, you’ll accompany him in death!"
May had never seen Adam’s grandmother so angry before. In fact, the old lady usually practiced Buddhism and advocated kindness and compassion, claiming she couldn’t even bear to step on an ant. Yet she spoke of making May accompany her grandson in death.
