Bella Acker pressed her forehead against Damian Sinclair’s, whispering, "Damian, I will miss you a lot, and you must remember to miss me too, okay?"

"I have a way for you not to miss me so much." Damian replied hoarsely, pressing his forehead against hers.

"What way?" Bella asked expectantly.

"Stay by my side all the time." Damian said as he raised his hand to pinch her cheeks, which had turned rosy from the kiss.

"How could that work? I still have to do my own job." Bella pouted, "Damian, I’m already reluctant to part with you, you can’t weaken my resolve any further. I still want to become stronger and catch up with you."

"Impossible."

He said it so confidently that Bella sulked a little, pouting, "Damian, you’re such a big fool, so dumb! Even though I know catching up with you will be difficult, at times like this, you should encourage me, not tell the truth!"

"You’re the fool. Little fool." Damian flicked her forehead lightly with his finger, thinking to himself that since she wanted to become stronger, he must become even stronger to protect her.

Bella pouted her lips, rubbed her forehead against his hard, and whispered, "I’m leaving now."

"Hmm." Damian also let her go.

Bella reluctantly squeezed his fingers, looking at him pitifully with drooping lips.

Damian sighed, "Bella, if you keep looking at me like that, I won’t be able to resist taking you back to Creston."

"That won’t do." Bella quickly released him and jumped out of the car as if to escape, "I’m leaving. Drive safely on your way back, bye-bye."

Damian rolled down the car window, watching her helplessly.

Bella stuck out her tongue and turned to run back to the hotel.

Damian wished he could just take her back to Creston and keep her by his side, but knowing her determination, he could only think about it.

"Everyone else gets to have their wife and kids by their side, but why does he have a wife and still need to stay alone?" Damian pinched his brow, and after a while, he turned the car around and drove away.

Bella, hiding behind the iron tree at the hotel entrance, only reluctantly walked back into the hotel after seeing Damian’s car drive away.

She had just resolved all misunderstandings with Damian and was at a point where she wished to stick together every moment of every day. Bella was taken aback, looking at Rhonda, who had somehow appeared at the hotel entrance, with a barely noticeable frown.

There was a suitcase at Rhonda’s feet, clearly indicating she was leaving as her scenes had wrapped up.

"What boyfriend? You must be mistaken." Bella instantly returned to her usual demeanor, feigning surprise, "Rhonda, are you leaving already?"
