Fu Mingze found the confusion on Tao Luqi’s face to be cute, he looked at the little girl who had clung to his leg and lifted her into his arms.

Tao Mei’s eyes lit up when Fu Mingze lifted her, she thought he was going to push her away.

"Mummy!" Fu Liang spread out his arms, indicating for Tao Luqi to carry him as well.

Tao Luqi finally smiled at Fu Liang and carried him into her arms, she looked at him and asked "Aren’t you supposed to be in school?"

Fu Liang pouted his lips and rather than answering, he hugged his mother tightly. How was he supposed to tell his mother that he fought and got suspended, he didn’t want his mom to get disappointed in him.

Tao Luqi looked at Fu Mingze, and the way he was holding Tao Mei in his arms did something to her heart. Did her heart just skip? What is wrong with her now?

"Is Fu Liang sick, why isn’t he in school?" Tao Luqi asked Fu Mingze who started walking towards her with Tao Mei in his arms.

"He got into a fight and was suspended." Fu Mingze said.

Fu Liang turned to look at his father with glaring eyes.

Tao Luqi laughed when she saw that and asked "Were you planning on not telling me that you fought?"

Fu Liang avoided Tao Luqi eyes and said "Fu Liang doesn’t want mummy to get angry with him."

"How can I get angry with you when you are so cute?" Tao Luqi asked as she kissed his cheek.

Seeing Fu Liang receiving kisses from her mother, Tao Mei turned to Fu Mingze and said "I want kisses from Daddy too."

Fu Mingze smiled and kissed the little girl’s cheek, he chuckled when she giggled and kissed her again.

Tao Luqi smiled as she watched Fu Mingze and Tao Mei’s interaction, she wondered why Tao Mei called Fu Mingze’s her dad, after all, she has only met him twice.

A knock on the door brought Tao Luqi out of her thoughts and when Fu Mingze said "Come in." She gently put Fu Liang down but still held his hand.

The door opened and Xia Lian came in, he bowed slightly and said "The executives are ready for the meeting."

"We will be right there, in the meantime take care of the children." Fu Mingze said as he gently put Tao Mei down.

Fu Mingze looked at Fu Liang and said "Ensure you and your sister don’t leave Xia Lian’s side, do you understand?"

Fu Liang nodded, he finally let go of Tao Luqi and went to hold Tao Mei’s hand as he said "I will take good care of little Mei, after all, I am her big brother."

Tao Luqi’s heart melted when she heard him say that and wondered how it was possible for a child to get even cuter.

Fu Mingze laughed softly and ruffled his son’s hair as he said "Go." 𝙧𝙚𝙚𝔀𝒆𝓫𝓷𝙤𝓿𝒆𝙡.𝒄𝙤𝓶

The children walked forward while Xia Lian said "They won’t leave my sight" before following after them.

After Xia Lian left, Fu Mingze was about to say something when he heard Tao Luqi ask "Is he your son?"

"What?"

"I mean, Fu Liang is so cute and polite, if not for the eyes, I would have found it difficult to believe that he came from you." Tao Luqi said.

Rather than getting offended by her words, Fu Mingze laughed loudly, he walked closer to her and said "I’m glad you are proud of the way I have trained him."

Tao Luqi was confused, her words were supposed to make him angry and irritated but instead he laughed and why was he looking at her like that, with such longing?

Fu Mingze found himself moving his hand to caress her cheek and instead of pulling away, Tao Luqi closed her eyes to feel his caresses.

Tao Luqi felt as if she was possessed because she wanted to pull away but couldn’t.

"Do you think of our kiss like I do?" Fu Mingze asked as the thumb of his finger moved to her lips.

"No, not at all." Tao Luqi immediately regretted giving a reply the moment her voice came out as a whisper.

Fu Mingze smiled softly as he said in a whisper "Liar."

He kissed the corner of her lips and suddenly pulled away.

"Wait! That’s it." Tao Luqi blurted out and gasped when she realized the words that just come out of her mouth

"Were you expecting more, Miss Tao?" Fu Mingze asked with a teasing smile.

Tao Luqi knew that she didn’t need a mirror to know how red her cheek was by now. She looked Fu Mingze in the eyes and said "It.....it isn’t what you think, I was referring to....."

Tao Luqi felt his lips on hers before she could complete her statement, she found herself sighing in satisfaction as he placed a hand on her waist, pulling her closer to him.

The kiss only lasted for seconds before Fu Mingze pulled away, he slowly opened his blue eyes and asked "Satisfied?"

Breathing heavily, Tao Luqi found herself mesmerized by those blue eyes that were looking at her with so much desire and with an emotion she couldn’t describe. So rather than answering his question, Tao Luqi leaned forward to continue the kiss, and this time it was slow and sensual.

Fu Mingze caressed her cheek as he deepened the kiss and let out a loud groan when he heard her soft moan. He wanted all of her but he knew he had to take it slow, the thought that his Meiyi still loved his kisses regardless of her memory loss brought great joy to his heart. He was going to find out what truly happened to his wife and make all those who were responsible for hurting her pay.

At this point, Tao Luqi was lost in his kisses, she gasped as Fu Mingze carried her to his desk without separating from her lip, and as his lips moved to her neck, a face flashed before Tao Luqi’s eyes and within a second she pushed Fu Mingze away.

Fu Mingze was confused at first but when he saw the horrified look on Tao Luqi’s face, he became worried.

Without saying anything or even explaining herself, Tao Luqi immediately arranged her dress and rushed out of Fu Mingze’s office.

Fu Mingze did nothing to stop her because he already had an idea of what went wrong and he was going to correct it very soon.
