A more mature-looking Zhang Chun chuckles and says "I don’t have a choice, since I turned down the girl my parents arranged for me, they have decided to work me to death."

Fu Mingze laughed and said, "You look different."

"Good different, I hope?" Zhang Chun asked with a smile.

"Yes, good different." Fu Mingze replied. After Yang Meiyi died, he and Zhang Chun somehow formed a strange friendship bond with each other.

"What about my little champ? Please tell me he still has his chubby cheek." Zhang Chun asked with a pleaded look in his eyes.

"Not as much as before, even me miss it." Fu Mingze said as he remembered how chubby Fu Liang’s cheek was when the kid was three years old.

Zhang Chun let out a sad smile and said "He is growing up so fast, you will be the most heartbroken when he leaves to start his own life."

Fu Mingze smiled and said, "Not really, I have a daughter now, though my grandfather has insisted that I take a DNA test but I know that little girl is mine."

Zhang Chun looked at Fu Mingze with a horrified expression on his face and asked " You are now with someone else?"

"Of course not." Fu Mingze immediately said and looked at Zhang Chun, he laughed softly when he saw the horrified expression on his face and said "It’s not what you are thinking?"

"But you just said....."

"She is alive Zhang Chun, I saw her with my own eyes, I felt her, I kissed her, and no matter what anyone says to me, I know it’s her, I know she is my Yang Meiyi."

"Fu Mingze, what are you saying? She died in that explosion, didn’t she? You saw her body with your own eyes."

"Yes, but there was never a DNA test to prove it was her. I only thought that was her because she was wearing the necklace I gave her."

Fu Mingze sighed and said, "You will see her, I promise you that but first let’s drink tonight to relieve our stress."

"Aren’t you driving?"

"I believe that’s why I have Xia Lian." Fu Mingze replied with a smile.

Zhang Chun smiled and said, "Then let’s drink."

"Have you heard anything from Ma Xin lately?" Fu Mingze asked. Before Yang Meiyi died, she and Ma Xin started talking again, and to be fair, the woman never missed the birthdays of Fu Liang.

"I think I spoke to her a week ago, she is fine, happy, and engaged to a good guy. I’m glad she and Yang Meiyi were able to solve their differences before that terrible incident."

Fu Mingze smiled and said, "I’m glad too."

"Mommy, can I follow you to your office?" Tao Mei asked as she watched her mother comb her hair through the mirror.

Tao Luqi smiled and asked,d "You want to follow me to work?"

Tao Mei nodded her head excitedly and said "I want to see all your designs."

Tao Luqi laughed and said "I would love that but I won’t be going to the office for a while, your grandfather has given me another work to do. Now tell me, would you like for me to braid your hair or tie it into a ponytail."

"Braid it."

"Okay." Tao Luqi said with a smile.

"But mummy doesn’t your new work have an office, can’t I come with you? Tao Mei promised to not make any noise."

"Are you that bored? If so, why don’t I enroll you into a nice school, I assure you that you will make a lot of friends."

Tao Mei pouted her lips and said "Tao Mei doesn’t want to go to school."

Tao Luqi sighed, even she did not understand why the child hated school, what child wouldn’t like going to school?

"Well, today is a very busy day for me, so you have to spend it with your aunt Dai Qiao." Tao Luqi said. She watched as her face turned into a sad pout and was about to say something when her phone made a loud sound.

Tao Luqi sighed and said, "Guess you are spending the day with me after all."

"Really?"

"Yes." Tao Luqi said seeing her daughter’s excitement. It will just be one day at Fu group, what could go wrong?

Fu Liang nodded and said, "Mummy doesn’t remember us so I shouldn’t feel hurt even if she pushes me away."

He held his son’s hand as they both walked into the Fu group.

Fu Mingze opened the door to his office and was surprised to see Tao Luqi in his office, however, he came out of his daze when he heard a little voice shouting "Daddy!"

That was when he also noticed little Tao Mei with her.

"Mummy!" Fu Liang also shouted as he saw his mother.

Tao Mei left her mother’s side and ran to Fu Mingze just as Fu Liang also left his father’s side to run to his mother.

Tao Luqi only regained her senses when she realized that Fu Liang was hugging her, she looked at her daughter who was hugging Fu Mingze, and wondered what was happening.
