The world has turned into Hell's Game, why should I stay human?!-Chapter 1151 - 722: Hunyuan Xingyi Taiji Sect
"I’ll remember this matter and ask someone about it later. Is everything okay on your end?"
Liu Zheng asked.
"No problem on my side, the Grand Theatre hasn’t noticed what I did."
The Red-crowned Crane replied.
It has always been helping a big shot, and it has experience in hiding its tracks.
"Alright, that’s good. If there’s any problem, just contact me, and I’ll do my best to help you solve it."
Liu Zheng said.
"Thank you for your kindness, Mr. Liu Zheng."
The Red-crowned Crane said emotionally.
After hanging up, he called the novelist.
"Are you guys okay?"
Liu Zheng asked.
"We’re fine, senior. We’ve already fooled the Security Department."
The novelist replied.
Actually, they didn’t really fool them; the Security Department already knew Liu Zheng was involved.
However, as long as there’s no solid evidence, they won’t do anything to the novelist and Fei Shibu.
After all, no matter how famous the Black Swan is, she’s just a dancer. Aside from the management at the Grand Theatre grieving over losing a moneymaker, others there might even clap their hands in joy.
And the novelist comes from a prestigious family and is a bestselling author. Inviting them into the interrogation room is easy, but getting them out is difficult.
"That’s good. You should rest then, I’ll hang up now."
Liu Zheng said.
"Okay, senior."
He hung up the phone.
Sitting on a small stool, Liu Zheng began thinking about what to do today.
First, he had to give the Black Swan’s feathers to the Mini People.
Although it might not be useful, a promise is a promise and it must be fulfilled.
Second, he needed to check at the clinic to see if the technician Bo Bo had woken up.
If she had woken up, he would send her and Luo Luo to stay at Niu Daji’s place for now, and deal with Bo Bo’s schooling later.
Hmm, might as well send Luo Luo to school too, since sending one or two makes no difference.
Third, he needed to speed up the process of helping Brother Sha get rid of the wanted notice.
Now that he’s established a tacit understanding with the Security Department and has connections in the Sanitation Department, he planned to call Ace and Black Skull to test the waters later.
If the conditions hadn’t changed, he would prepare to wipe out the Jordan family’s forces.
With Liu Zheng’s current power, wiping out some black clinics and illegal factories should be no problem.
Lastly, the date he agreed upon with the Tomb Guardian for grave robbing had arrived.
Once Skinny Horse came to pick him up, it would be time to go grave robbing.
Luckily, he’d not only obtained "meat on bones" but also gathered a bunch of new items, drastically increasing his chances. Even if success wasn’t guaranteed, his survival should be.
This situation showed that sometimes procrastination wasn’t necessarily a flaw.
As he was thinking, Ghost Hand crawled in from outside.
Without putting down the takeout order, it first opened its mouth, signaling to be fed.
Liu Zheng took out a dried fish and deliberately dangled it above its head. It immediately dropped the order and hopped around trying to reach the dried fish.
"Can something like this really be a legendary delivery man?"
He thought to himself with a bizarre expression as he watched Ghost Hand hop around like a puppy.
Liu Zheng casually threw the dried fish into Niu Ma’s pile of hay, then picked up the takeout order from the ground.
"Dish: One bottle of Mouse Tail Juice"
"Address: Hunyuan Xingyi Taiji Sect"
"Ordered by: Ma Baoli"
"Time limit: one hour"
"This dish’s name sounds pretty dreadful."
He smirked.
Liu Zheng recalled the white mice in the kitchen that sucked blood, thinking perhaps the juice was made from their tails?
"Hey champ, have you ever heard of the Hunyuan Xingyi Taiji Sect?"
He asked.
"Nope. Also, if you dare to throw something in here again to tease it, I’ll stuff you into its mouth."
Niu Ma said without looking up.
"Hehe, it’s good for physical and mental health to tease little animals in the morning."
Liu Zheng defended.
"Little animal? Haha, you truly are fearless because of your ignorance."
Niu Ma sneered.
"Yeah, it’s precisely because of ignorance that I’m fearless. If I had known everything, I’d have been scared to death when I heard that woman’s cries."
He said calmly.
In a place like Metropolis, a certain level of desensitization is really necessary to survive.
"Well, keep on being ignorant then. Once you gain enough power, you won’t be able to pretend to be blind."
Niu Ma chuckled.
"We’ll see about that when the time comes. I’m heading out now."
Liu Zheng left the resting room and took out the dish from the takeout box.
A bottle, not much different from a canned peach jar, was filled with muddy dark red liquid, several white mouse tails inserted through the holes in the cap, the tail ends soaked in the liquid, with the tips exposed, swaying in the wind, as if they were still alive.
"Name: Mouse Tail Juice (Single-use)"
"Type: Tool" 𝙛𝒓𝓮𝙚𝔀𝒆𝒃𝓷𝒐𝓿𝙚𝓵.𝙘𝒐𝒎
"Quality: Excellent"
"Effect 1: Slightly restores stamina."
"Effect 2: Grows a mouse tail, which can be dexterously controlled for half an hour."
"Note: Just one bottle of this drink can captivate the hearts of fuzz enthusiasts."
"Can be taken out of the instance: Yes"
"Growing a tail makes you a furry, huh? Your criteria are pretty lenient."
He remarked.
Looking at the still-moving mouse tails, Liu Zheng felt a wave of nausea.
Hopefully, he wouldn’t have to use this tool, or another page would be added to his black history.
After confirming everything was fine with the Legendary Takeout Box, Liu Zheng left the restaurant.
Considering he might need to go to the cemetery at any time, he rented a spirit car and drove to the clinic.
The weather wasn’t great today, with light rain drizzling from the sky.
