The Royal Military Academy's Impostor Owns a Dungeon [BL]-Chapter 970: Loose and Stretched
For what it was worth, the endeavor was a resounding success.
The newly minted dancer returned with so much spring in his step that he almost startled his people to death.
He appeared with a jovial greeting, looking unusually radiant, and if one looked closely enough, there was even a faint little mark resting near his collarbone that, thankfully, no one else noticed before something far more shocking captured their attention.
Because Luca Kyros had clearly grown.
Not in height (unfortunately).
Not in age.
But in confidence.
The change was so visible that the moment he stepped into the room with a cheerful wave and a bright "Good afternoon, everyone!" the entire space fell quiet.
And the surprise most definitely continued as Luca returned to the dance floor with a bewildered Butler Gary.
"!!!"
One sworn brother, in particular, looked like he had just witnessed the birth of a miracle.
Ollie Mylor stared at Luca with such undisguised pride that one might have thought Luca had just returned victorious from a battlefield.
"Brother! You improved!"
The blonde grabbed Luca by the shoulders as if confirming that he wasn’t imagining things.
"You really improved!"
His eyes shone with such emotion that it was almost touching. If others didn’t know better, they might have thought Luca had come from Ollie’s very own loins.
"What did you do?"
The question came out with breathless urgency.
Luca, the precious cadet who had absolutely nothing to hide and was still riding the high of his recent success, answered happily without even pausing to think.
"Oh! It’s because Xavier loosened and stretched me really well."
The room froze.
Not gradually.
Not subtly.
Every single person within hearing distance stopped moving as if someone had suddenly turned them into statues.
But Luca, blissfully unaware that he had just set the room on fire, continued speaking with the innocent enthusiasm of someone explaining a perfectly reasonable discovery.
"I was really tight before and—"
CRASH!
A vase shattered violently against the floor.
The sound rang through the room like a gunshot.
Everyone flinched.
The unfortunate victim was a decorative porcelain vase that had slipped from a servant’s hands the moment Luca started elaborating.
Unfortunately, the damage had already been done.
Several adults reacted instantly.
Hands flew up.
Children’s ears were covered with astonishing speed, as if they were protecting them from a natural disaster.
Princess Kira had quickly instructed Ada to jot down everything important and had her ears ready for anything.
Even Kyle moved with sudden urgency.
Without hesitation, he reached over and firmly covered his little star’s ears. That was definitely not going to help, but at least he could tell himself that he really tried.
"Hey!"
The blonde protested immediately.
"You don’t need to hear the rest of that," Kyle said flatly.
Unfortunately for him, Ollie had already heard enough. 𝒻𝑟𝘦𝘦𝘸ℯ𝒷𝑛𝘰𝓋ℯ𝘭.𝘤𝘰𝘮
The sworn brother’s face flushed red so quickly that it looked like someone had poured boiling water over him. His expression was one short step away from a catastrophic nosebleed.
Meanwhile, the architect of this chaos remained perfectly oblivious.
Because Luca, in his mind, was simply explaining how helpful the lesson had been.
"I’d been so tight and narrow—"
CLATTER!
Someone dropped a tray.
Utter pandemonium threatened to break loose.
The golden-eyed cadet was about to say "narrow-minded" as he realized he focused too much on getting the right steps instead of going with the flow and enjoying the moment.
But since there were already a lot of things happening around him, he just decided to happily continue with what he thought was also highly relevant to his improvement!
"After that, we pushed each other really hard!"
The golden-eyed cadet pressed both hands to his cheeks with a bright smile. His ears were pink, his face was flushed, and his body gave a small unconscious wiggle as he recalled the experience.
It was the kind of image that could genuinely shorten lifespans.
Duke Leander, who had been standing nearby, looked like he was precisely one more sentence away from either detonating or being rushed to the medical bay.
Xavier Solaris, one concerned in-law, immediately realized that the safety of everyone present now rested entirely on his shoulders.
Which meant intervention was required.
He cleared his throat.
"Ahem."
The sound cut cleanly through the rising chaos.
"We practiced repeatedly," Xavier said calmly.
His voice was steady and composed, the tone of a prince addressing a perfectly normal situation rather than the verbal catastrophe Luca had just unleashed.
"We began with his feet on top of mine so he could focus on different aspects before combining them."
"Then we just repeated it over and over again without taking breaks."
He said it with the utmost seriousness.
Unfortunately, not a single person in the room appeared convinced.
The suspicious looks directed at him were nearly unanimous.
Even Duke Leander narrowed his eyes.
Well, at least not until D-29 proudly revealed its new and extremely cinematic footage of that very dance in the forest.
"!!!"
And maybe they should have stopped at that.
Because, unfortunately, for the full-time devoted husband and part-time Imperial Prince, the footage was simply too good.
Far too good.
What D-29 had proudly presented wasn’t just proof of practice. It was beautifully framed, perfectly timed, and almost suspiciously cinematic. The projection showed the forest clearing bathed in soft golden light, the trees swaying gently around them, and, right in the middle of it all, two figures moving together in a smooth, effortless rhythm.
As one could expect, everyone wanted it.
Because once the reality of what they were seeing truly settled in, no one wanted to risk losing such a historical moment.
In the end, a certain deranged father had to be escorted away for a time-out.
Duke Leander looked personally betrayed by the universe.
"I MISSED IT."
His voice echoed dramatically through the hall as Steward Han and Head Maid Gloria gently but firmly guided him away before he could spiral further.
"My own son dancing and I wasn’t there!"
The Duke clutched his chest as if the pain were physical.
"I should’ve been there!"
Meanwhile, several Imperial members had already begun making arrangements with alarming efficiency.
Storage devices were prepared.
Copies were requested.
Archives were updated.
Multiple backups were quietly scheduled. Thrice over.
At this point, they couldn’t possibly risk any type of data corruption when dealing with something so historically significant.
Because this was not just any recording.
This was something they had never expected to exist in this timeline.
Or possibly the next.
The Glacier of Solaris dancing of his own volition while looking like the happiest man in the galaxy?
At that point, what else should anyone even expect next?
Forget about pigs flying.
Forget about hell freezing over.
Reality itself had clearly decided to abandon its standards.
Standing in the thick of the action, Kyle watched the footage play again with a thoughtful expression.
With developments like this, he honestly wouldn’t even be surprised to see their captain involved in a brawl out of jealousy.
Then again.
At moments like this, it was always wiser to keep jokes and wishful thinking to oneself.
Because in his line of work, people really meant it when they said:
"Be careful what you wish for."
