The Monster Monarch System-Chapter 193: Dungeon Break (Part 2)
As his fist made contact with the goblin’s face, Luke could feel the impact of it’s bones breaking – the goblin soared through the air, skidding on the ground like a pebble in the water before finally pulling to a stop.
Soul energy coated his fists with intensity yet Luke felt he could go further, he felt like he hadn’t unleashed the true potential of his soul energy yet – there was still a lot of it within him, just waiting to be used.
The goblin pushed onto it’s feet, staggering upward and glaring at Luke... it’s eyes mirrored the same hate that Luke harbored for the monster. With a battle cry, the goblin rushed at Luke once again.
’Even Master was faster,’ Luke thought while observing the slow movements of the goblin, after every round of physical training he had, he was meant to fight Rem – a battle he knew he could never win but it was mandatory, and now Luke could see a use for it...
The goblin closed the distance and brought it’s scrawny right arm forward for a punch but Luke parried it expertly, the results of his training were vigorously showing and he was proud of himself. Luke then punched forward with his free fist, instead of the goblin to recoil – Luke punched through its head.
Blood and brain matter splashed against the ground as Luke pulled his arm back, staring at it with a hint of coldness in his eyes.
"Lu-Luke," Kiara muttered under her breath as she stared at her brother standing over the corpse of the goblin, there was something eerily different about it but she couldn’t wrap her head around it, no matter how hard she tried.
And then Luke looked at them, soul energy surging around his eyes violently – his cold gaze sent shivers down the spine of the girls but the soul energy soon vanished.
"Let’s go before more monsters come," Pari got the courage to say, she didn’t want to meet any more Monsters, "We need to go the Defense Pavilion,"

Rem stepped out of a swirling blue dungeon, in his hand was a sack full of magical stones which he planned to take to the GUILD.
’This’ll probably be one silver coin,’ Rem thought, calculating his earnings but he quickly looked away from the sack, noticing something felt different about Ember town, he could sense the soul energies of monsters roaming around the town.
Rem frowned.
"A dungeon break? But I made sure those wouldn’t happen," Rem muttered, ever since he had come to this town – he had always made sure to clear the nearby dungeons, especially since he could sense the gates yet somehow this one had slipped past him, "No, based on their soul energy, they’re premature, not on the level of regular Monsters in a dungeon but they can cause a lot of damage nonetheless,"
He quickly threw the sack into his Inventory and pulled out his sword from it’s sheath.
’Pari said she was going to the market today, I hope she’s okay,’ Rem thought and moved forward, for the first time in a while – he used the full extent of his speed, ’A perilous situation, huh? I wonder if they’ll be able to unlock their soul energy, it’ll make training much easier for me,’

The Defense Pavilion was a dome-like building created in the center of Ember town, after all, this wasn’t the first Dungeon break the town had withstood. It was made by the refinement of several materials found in the dungeon to create impenetrable walls for holding the Civilians in the case of a dungeon break.
There were several resources like food and water in the Pavilion and as of now, there were a lot of people... the air was gloomy, people mourned over the ones that they had lost in the attack.
Pari searched around urgently, looking for her Dad but he was nowhere to be found. Fear gripped her heart, what if he had... died at the hands of the Monsters?
’Rem, where are you?’ Pari thought while hugging herself, he was the only person she could rely on now.
The doors of the Pavilion could not be opened from the outside, they were locked from the inside and therefore there were guards assigned to stand at the entrance, verifying everyone that wanted to enter the Pavilion – Nobody wanted a Monster inside the pavilion.
A banging sound suddenly pulled everyone out of their thoughts, the doors of the Pavilion were being constantly banged on... it was normal though, it was probably another Survivor but a loud voice soon shouted out.
"You can come out now! The Solo Raider killed all of the monsters!" The deep voice of a Cavalier exclaimed.
The people looked toward the door with uncertainty, but Pari’s eyes widened... She could recognize that title anywhere. 𝒇𝙧𝙚𝓮𝔀𝓮𝒃𝙣𝓸𝒗𝒆𝒍.𝙘𝒐𝒎
"Rem?" Pari muttered under her breath, Kiara tugged on her arm.
"Who’s the Solo Raider?" Kiara asked, "He sounds scary,"
Monsters were powerful, that much Kiara was certain of. Even with training, Luke had struggled against a goblin before unlocking his soul energy, if there was a Raider capable of killing all of the monsters within a short period of time... that person was nothing less than a Monster.
"It’s Rem," Pari said while stroking her head, "Your Master,"
Kiara’s eyes widened and so did Luke’s, they hadn’t expected their Master to be so... strong.
A guard went outside to check and upon confirming it, the doors of the Pavilion were opened wide.
"The words of the Cavalier are the truth!" The guard announced, "Please make your way out of the Pavilion!"
Slowly but surely, the civilians began moving out of the Pavilion. Usually when a Dungeon break occurred, they would have to remain in the Pavilion for 4-5 days as the Raiders would slowly but surely push back against the monsters attacking the town but never in the history of dungeon breaks had they been resolved in a single day.
With that, the strength of the Solo Raider amongst the town’s folk was known, there were no more doubts lingering.
