The Monster Monarch System-Chapter 160: The Prodigy Of The Blade (Part 1)
Both Apprentices walked into the room shortly after, the blue surroundings of the room had faded – clearly being ravaged by the explosion and several cracks spread up to the ceiling. If those cracks were tempered with, it could become a Cave-in and they could be buried alive.
But Rem couldn’t contain his shock at seeing the Glacian standing proud, even after the explosion, it stood proudly...
Rem suddenly looked up, another energy signature was in the land above heading right for their Camp-site and he could recognize this energy signature pretty well – it belonged to Zarchary, the final demon he needed to face.
’This timing is messed up,’ Rem thought, not only did they have the monster known as Glacian to face but they also had Zarchary to face... Rem glanced at Tero, the latter shaking in a mix of fear and surprise, if he left him here to fight against Zarchary – he would definitely be killed in cold blood and what’s worse, Zarchary and the Glacian might fight him at the same time.
Rem shoved a healing vial into the Apprentice’s palm.
"A monster is headed to camp now," Rem said, "You need to run back to the surface now and evacuate them, or protect them at most,"
"Monster?" Tero asked, unsure of what he heard.
"We already cleared all of the monsters on the way to the surface so if you move at your full speed," Rem said, "You should be able to make it in time,"
Tero took the healing vial and heeded Rem’s orders, glancing at Rem one last time before escaping through the opening – Rem’s eyes fell upon the Glacian who was ready to take him serious and he was ready to do the same as well... he pointed a palm at the Glacian and several tendrils shot forth from his hand, each of them as black as shadow... they swirled through the air and right toward the Glacian who roared, energy swirling in front of it’s mouth and creating a crimson orb of pure destructive energy – the orb tore through the air and right at the tendrils, both attacks colliding mid-air and forcing the users back at the amount of force pushed into both skills.
Rem wasn’t willing to lose the confrontation so he pushed more magical energy into his tendrils, watching them double in size and push back the orb a bit but it wasn’t enough to completely subdue it – another explosion soon rung through the cave, the walls rumbling in response as if the room was about to collapse.

"Rem was right... it’s much easier without the monsters constantly prying at the corners," Tero said while moving as fast as possible, his body turning into a blur. The more he got closer to the surface, the more he sensed a terrifying pressure, something even he didn’t have a chance at beating.
The cave rumbled yet Tero didn’t look back, he trusted in Rem’s decision and clutched the healing vial in his palm... He felt like it would be an invaluable resource for the opponent up ahead, Tero tucked it in his pocket and continued moving, hoping to reach one of the openings as soon as possible – the lives of his party members depended on it.

Olivia sat in a meditative position outside the cave, an attempt to ignore the disagreements currently going on within the cave – she had to admit, it was more peaceful when Tero or even Rem was around.
’Honing one’s skill with the sword is a delicate process,’ Olivia thought, ’Hone yourself like a weapon – make every part of you a weapon so your Opponents can’t find a weak point, that’s what mentor always said,’
After rehearsing the words that her Mentor had always told her, Olivia stood up holding the hilt of her blade and pulling it out from its sheath. Her sword glistened and she stabbed it forward several times, ripples forming in the air at the speed she was moving at.
"That’s some good swordplay," Zarchary commented, Olivia raised her eyes to meet the crimson eyes of the Demon – standing some distance away from her while clapping, "But don’t you think it needs to be worked on more?"
Olivia didn’t move, she was surprised at how she hadn’t managed to sense him till now, the amount of energy he was giving off was outrageous... putting even Tero to shame. The Swordsman quickly recovered, raising her sword at him with the intentions to battle.
"I come in peace," Zarchary said with a chuckle, "I actually came here for a reason, and do you know of anyone called the Monster Monarch?"
Olivia shook her head – she hadn’t heard of such a name before but it was surprising to hear that a Monarch was in the dungeon.
"It’s a shame I don’t know the name he uses to associate with you humans," Zarchary said while looking away and at a small rocky mountain in the distance, "I can sense his soul energy over there – it’s perfect,"
Olivia saw where he was looking at and widened her eyes, it had been where Tero and Rem had gone... Zarchary raised his hand up, a crimson energy surging around it as he prepared to destroy the small mountain.
"Don’t," Olivia warned while her sword glinted in purple soul energy, "I won’t let you,"
Zarchary snickered at the girl while stopping his attack. 𝐟𝚛𝕖𝚎𝕨𝗲𝐛𝚗𝐨𝐯𝐞𝕝.𝐜𝗼𝗺
"Do you really think you’ll be able to take me on?" Zarchary asked, confidence laced in each word he spoke.
"There’s only one way to find out," Olivia replied while moving forward, her body turning into a blur – Zarchary noticed that this was much faster than she had been moving at earlier.
’I may have underestimated her a bit,’ Zarchary thought as Olivia appeared at his side, bringing down her blade to slash at him. The Demon easily dodged the strike and smirked at her, prompting the girl to vanish into thin air – vanishing from his view yet again.
