Lust System: Monster girl Harem-Chapter 326 Training
"Three barriers, and mind you, you should be able to run with these before you think of opening the second barrier, and don’t try it on your legs until you can hold it standing with your hand, and that is not allowed" She said pointing to Freya who was still struggling even with both hands.
"How is it even possible to run with these when we can’t even stand up, how long do you think it’ll take before we can hold one of these up?" Isabella asked.
"I should give you the time it took me, but I can give you an estimated time, or what I think would take you girls because as I said, you’re all weak" She spoke.
"We girls, what about Ethan?" Mabel asked.
"Ethan is already more physical than all of you, it’s not going to take him as long, also you should be able to hold it within a week, even if you don’t move, just be able to hold it up"
"Don’t just spend all time carrying the weight around, do other things to build strength and use the weight too" Crimson spoke.
"Can I ask a question?" Martha asked.
"Sure"
"How many can you carry currently?" Martha asked.
"She can carry three on both arms, and legs...and run" The mage beside her spoke.
All the girls eyes widened, the thought of holding one weight already felt impossible, but Crimson could carry three on each arm and leg and even run with them.
Even Ethan was a little surprised, he couldn’t tell if Crimson was stronger than Maria or not, but he knew Selena would be able to do more since she was half dragon.
"That’s... that’s not even human," Edith muttered, still stuck with her arm glued to the ground.
"There has to be a trick to it, this seems impossible" Crystal spoke.
Crimson only smiled. "There’s no trick to it. It took years of training and pushing my body beyond the limit. You want strength, you have to pay the price."
"And the price is pay is simple, it’s something you have in excess, time... among you girls I’m sure at least one of you would be the strongest in your generation"
Ethan clenched his teeth. His right arm, the one with the active weight, was already shaking. Sweat ran down his forehead. He managed to keep it up, but his muscles screamed with pain but the others were way worse.
Crystal was flat on her stomach, face red as she kept trying to pull her arm off the floor. Isabella on the other hand had given up moving and just sat cross-legged while her arm stuck to the ground like a chain.
Mabel was also trying to lift the weight up but was getting frustrated.
"Ugh! This is stupid!" Mabel shouted.
Mary groaned. "I feel like my bone is going to break."
"Good," Crimson said calmly. "If it feels like it’s breaking, that means your body is learning. It won’t break. Not unless you force it past your limit and you shouldn’t do that"
"That doesn’t make it sound better," Isabella muttered.
"I didn’t come to make you feel better, one day when you’re stronger, you’ll remember this day"
Freya was the only one of the girls not on the ground, but even she wasn’t fine. Her arms shook as she tried to keep the bracelet up with both hands. Her face was twisted with effort as she tried to keep her balance.
"I can’t believe you did this training," Freya said as she gritted her teeth.
"You’ll thank me when you can fight without running out of breath, also I don’t think you girls get the use of physical ability" Crimson replied.
Ethan took a deep breath. "How long... do we have to hold it now?" he asked.
Crimson tilted her head. "For today? I didn’t tell you to hold it, I said you should give it a try"
"Really" Mabel place her other hand on the weight draining the Mana out of it and soon the crushing weight was gone and she removed it from her hand.
"So quick, I can see why you lost to Ethan’s summon... Imagine losing to a summoning, what if it was the actual mage" Crimson spoke.
"You can’t make me feel bad, this is just the first day, I’ll be able to move to the next stage in no time" Mabel spoke.
Mabel sighed in relief, stretching her sore arm. Seeing her, the others quickly gave up too.
One by one, they placed their free hand on the bracelet, drained the mana, and removed the heavy weight.
Crystal was the first to flop onto her back on the sand, breathing hard. "Finally... I thought I was going to die."
Isabella pulled hers off slower, shaking her head. "I don’t even feel my arm anymore. It’s numb"
Mary rubbed her shoulder as soon as the weight came off. "That was torture, not training."
Freya lowered hers last, both arms trembling as if she had been holding up a mountain. She let out a small groan and dropped to her knees.
"I hate this already, but I’m not going to stop" She mumbled.
Ethan, who had been holding out the longest, removed his. His arm ached, and sweat soaked through his shirt.
He flexed his arm a few times, trying to get the feeling back. "That was rough," He muttered in his head.
(This would be good training for when you get to the village, this would improve the result of your sword training with Varek)
’True’
Crimson watched them with a calm look nodding before speaking.
"Good. You all got a taste. That’s enough for today, just don’t stop and if you do, return my weight to Freya because she’s not going to stop"
"How are you sure she wouldn’t stop?" Edith asked.
"Because she’s my sister, and she told me when she was 13 years old that she’s going to be a better mage than me" Crimson spoke as she turned around and began walking away.
The group sat in silence, exhausted, staring at the bracelets in their hands before Isabella spoke.
"You’ll be a better mage, hahaha" Isabella laughed.
"I knew you were going to make fun of me, I was 13 years old, I remember you at 13 when you were struggling too"
"Hey, let’s leave the past in the past" Isabella replied.
"What... don’t leave it in the past, tell us" Crystal spoke.
