Stellar Train: I Open a Small Shop on the Train-Chapter 177
Chapter 177 - 177
Jade looked at Aventurine.
"You've always had good luck. Maybe the enhancement machine really is perfect for you."
Aventurine chuckled at her words.
"I'll head over when I have time. For now, let's focus on making the elf tournament a success. If we do a good job with the first edition, then the second, third, and even more in the future will be much easier to organize."
As long as the first tournament is done well, it could serve as the foundation for future editions, with added rules and features, saving a lot of effort down the line.
At that moment, Jade remembered something.
"Right, Aventurine, didn't the Market Development Division try to meddle with the tournament before?"
Aventurine nodded.
"They did. They sent their Black Glove Fleet—the ones they use for dirty work. But, unfortunately for them, Aha wiped them out. Oh, wait, correction—they weren't wiped out completely. There are still a hundred of them doing background acting at the Theater of Elation."
Topaz clicked her tongue.
"Tsk tsk~ That Market Development Division sure is bold. Trying to mess with the Elation Mini-World directly... I've gotta admire their guts."
Jade said,
"It was an intel issue. They didn't know the Aeon of Elation was here. Otherwise, even with a thousand guts, they wouldn't have dared."
She glanced at her watch.
"All right, that's enough talking for today. Topaz, let's head back."
Topaz nodded and left Aventurine's office together with Jadeite.
On the train, it was already past 2 PM. Most people had returned from the Elation Mini-World.
Rimuru extended an invitation to everyone, inviting them to a celebration banquet—to relax and have fun.
Stelle, Firefly, Amber, Kiana, and Hutao, who were free, agreed right away.
Zhongli, Jing Yuan, and others politely declined—they still had other things to do.
Ye Yun looked down at Klee, who was sitting in his arms, and gently rubbed her head.
"Klee, do you want to go?"
Klee looked up at him with a beaming smile.
"Klee wants to go! Klee wants to ride the big wolf-wolf!"
Bailu chimed in right after.
"This miss is going too! My little wolf pup's still too small to ride."
Qiqi echoed blankly,
"Qiqi... ride big wolf... want to play."
Hearing that, Ye Yun decided to attend the celebration and take the girls along to have some fun.
Ye Yun, the seven little ones, Stelle, Himeko, Welt, and Kafka followed Rimuru into a portal to join the banquet.
Passing through the portal, the group arrived at Rimuru's monster city-state.
After a period of development, what had once been just a few shabby goblin tents had become a bustling town.
All the houses in the town had been built by construction robots, each with its own unique style.
Miss Shizu was waiting near the portal. As Stelle and the others stepped through, they immediately saw her.
"Shizu! Long time no see!"
Shizu smiled and greeted them.
"Long time no see, Stelle, Amber, Hutao."
After the greetings, Stelle's eyes landed on a familiar figure—Ranga.
"Yo~ isn't that Ranga? You've got another horn on your head! Come on, let me feel it."
Ranga tried to dodge, but he wasn't as fast as Stelle. She grabbed the horn right away.
Ranga struggled for a bit, but seeing it was futile, he gave up and let her touch his horn and head.
Klee, Bailu, Hook, and the other little ones spotted Ranga too and cheered as they ran over.
"Big wolf-wolf!"
Bailu stood next to Ranga and looked longingly at his back. She grabbed his fur and started climbing up with both hands and feet.
Ranga glanced back at her, but didn't stop her. He knew who these little ones were.
They were the favorites of the group. Rimuru-sama had once mentioned that a guy called "the Doctor" had offended them.
The result? He was hunted across worlds with no chance of rest.
Ranga didn't want any part of that. Besides, they were just kids—no big deal.
Soon after, Shizu led Stelle, Huyao, and Kiana off to play.
Ye Yun, Himeko, Kafka, and Welt were brought by Rimuru to the banquet area.
Stelle, Huyao, and Kiana followed Shizu to a plaza.
There, a simple open-air kitchen was set up.
Inside, a chubby goblin, Shuna, and several goblin girls were cooking food.
Stelle also saw the bee and beetle honey-gathering duo arriving with a bucket of honey.
The two had been busy all day collecting honey for the evening banquet.
Stelle walked up to the bee and peered into the bucket.
"This is honey?"
The bee looked at Stelle and nodded.
Seeing that, Stelle dipped her fingers in and tasted some.
The pure, natural honey was delicious—Stelle's eyes lit up.
"Mmm~ this stuff is tasty! Gimme more!"
She reached in for more, but the bee quickly picked up the bucket and flew away.
Stelle chased after it.
"Don't be so stingy~ just a little more!"
Seeing this, the beetle rushed in heroically to protect the bee.
The beetle charged! It sped up! It got closer! And... it got smacked away!
The beetle ran right into Stelle's swinging hand and got slapped across the plaza.
Stelle looked back, confused.
"Eh? Did I hit something just now?"
She looked around and spotted the fleeing bee.
"Never mind, honey first!"
And she chased after it again.
Ye Yun, watching this unfold, couldn't help but sigh.
That Stelle really is a handful—she's already turned Rimuru's city into chaos.
First grabbing Ranga's horn, then chasing the little bee for its honey.
Ye Yun sat down and chatted with Rimuru, the Ogre chieftain, and Benimaru.
Soon, Shuna arrived with two Ogres carrying a giant plate of roast meat.
They set the stone tray on the table, and Rimuru invited everyone to begin eating.
Ranga brought the seven little ones over to join Ye Yun and the others.
The seven crowded together on Ranga's back.
Klee poked her head out.
"Brother Ye Yun~ Klee is so happy! So much fun!"
Ye Yun smiled fondly and went over to carry Klee, Bailu, and the others down one by one.
Himeko and Kafka also came over to help—each taking two of the little ones to the table.
The dining table was low, similar to a tea table. The seven little ones stood beside it, drooling over the roast meat.
Bailu stood on tiptoe and took down two skewers of lamb, handing one to Klee.
"Klee, here, take it."
***
Klee took it and glanced at Ye Yun, who was clinking glasses with Benimaru. Mimicking Ye Yun's action, she lightly tapped her skewer of lamb against Bailu's.
"Cheers!"
Bailu saw this and tapped her own skewer of lamb as well.
"Cheers with skewers!"
Hook saw this scene and found it amusing. She pulled Diona beside her and tapped skewers together too.
"Cheers with skewers!"
Yaoyao and Qiqi stood in front of Kafka. Qiqi was nibbling slowly on a grilled mushroom skewer.
Yaoyao picked up a skewer of grilled beef and handed it to Kafka.
"Sister Kafka, have some beef!"
Kafka smiled and accepted the beef skewer from Yaoyao.
"Thank you, Yaoyao."
Yaoyao smiled, then lowered her head and started eating a mushroom skewer.
Benimaru and Welt were chatting when Shuna walked over.
"Big brother, come try this special dish I prepared just for you."
Benimaru was overjoyed to hear that—his little sister really was an angel!
But when he saw the food on the plate, he immediately looked distressed.
That's right—it was a full bowl of carrots, Benimaru's most hated food.
His eye twitched a few times as he looked at Shuna.
"Shuna, I'm not hungry right now. You should eat this."
Shuna gave a "sunny" smile.
"Big brother, I made this especially for you."
She emphasized the word especially.
Benimaru gulped hard, then reluctantly ate a piece of carrot like a hero facing doom.
Immediately, sweat beaded on his forehead as he sneaked a glance at Shuna.
Seeing that she hadn't left and was still watching him closely, Benimaru had no choice but to force it down.
Only when he swallowed did Shuna leave, satisfied.
After she left, Benimaru quickly grabbed a cup of water and rinsed his mouth.
Welt saw this.
"Mr. Benimaru, are you allergic to carrots?"
Benimaru shook his head, then nodded.
"Allergic? Not really. I just really hate them."
Welt nodded in understanding.
The rest of the time was filled with food, drink, and laughter. Everyone had a great time.
That night, instead of returning to rest, everyone stayed in Rimuru's monster federation town.
The Next Morning
Stelle was still sound asleep in bed.
Outside the window, birds chirped as they flew in groups.
Down on the streets, early-rising monsters were bustling about the morning market.
The morning produce was the freshest—just picked from the forest.
Suddenly, a streak of fire tore through the sky and a fireball crashed not far from the town.
Souei, along with his dragonkin, immediately rushed to the scene.
Rimuru followed close behind, bringing Benimaru and the others.
Stelle, who was sleeping soundly, was woken up by the loud noise, annoyed and restless.
They had partied late into the night, not sleeping until around 3 or 4 a.m.
"Who is it? So noisy early in the morning?"
Stelle jumped out of bed and ran to the window.
Outside, people were fleeing in panic.
Looking further out, Stelle saw smoke rising from the forest.
"This is bad! Something happened!"
Stelle quickly woke up Hutao and Firefly. The girls didn't even have time to wash up and rushed toward the scene.
Meanwhile, Ye Yun and Welt had already arrived at the site.
They were early risers and happened to be strolling around the town when they saw the fireball fall.
At the impact site, a pink-haired twin-tailed girl stood in the crater, hands on her hips, looking at Ye Yun.
Just as Ye Yun suspected, it was Milim—one of the strongest beings in this world.
Milim curiously sized up Ye Yun and used a scan skill on him.
"Huh? A regular human? That can't be right! You just suddenly appeared out of nowhere~"
Milim teleported beside Ye Yun, curiously circling him.
Ye Yun reached out and pressed her head gently to stop her.
"Calm down. I'll give you something tasty later."
Milim, hearing this, protested and shook off his hand, continuing to circle him rebelliously.
Ye Yun responded by buying a jar of honey, scooping a spoonful, and forcefully feeding it to Milim.
She froze in place as if hit by a critical strike.
Milim held her cheeks, her tongue rapidly licking her lips.
"What is this?! It's so delicious!!!"
She reached for the honey in Ye Yun's hand.
Ye Yun dodged.
"Want some?"
Milim nodded.
"Mhm mhm mhm! Give it to me!"
Ye Yun replied,
"You can have it, but on one condition."
Milim frowned.
"No way! One is too much! At most, just one!"
Ye Yun nodded—one was fine.
"Alright, just one. You're not allowed to hurt anyone in this area without my permission. Of course, if someone offends you, go ahead."
Milim seemed troubled.
Not being able to attack freely? That's hard for her! She was all about living freely and doing what she wanted. freēwēbηovel.c૦m
Ye Yun took out another jar of honey.
"How about now? Two jars."
Milim's eyes sparkled, but she still hesitated.
Ye Yun added,
"Three jars. That's the final offer."
Milim finally gave in to the temptation.
"Alright! Deal!"
Ye Yun handed over the three jars of honey. Milim happily began eating.
Welt glanced at Milim and whispered to Ye Yun,
"This little girl is very strange. The energy inside her is intense—almost on par with an Emanator."
Ye Yun responded,
"Of course. She's one of the strongest in this world. Right, Milim?"
He turned to Milim with a question.
Milim, hearing her name, jumped up and proudly declared with hands on her hips,
"Wahahahaha! That's right! I'm the Demon Lord Milim Nava! Impressive, right?"
But the reactions from Ye Yun and Welt disappointed her.
They were both calm—not at all surprised or shocked as she had expected.
At that moment—
A figure descended from the sky holding a flaming greatsword.
"Demon Lord Milim? Sounds like a villain! Waking me up so early—I'll show you the power of my Galaxy fire Hero!"
