Saving the Heartthrob Frenemy-Chapter 88: Seven minutes in heaven
Luo Muchen’s heart grew cold. As expected the man had already identified his weakness and learnt to manipulate it to his advantage.
"Lead the way," he said his tone tyrannical like an overlord addressing an insignificant underling.
"Right this way," said the man opening the bathroom door. Luo Muchen was led to the manager’s office through a private elevator. The private room they were in gave them the illusion that they were on the top floor but it turns out there was another floor above that.
When the door was knocked a woman opened it and sauntered out. Qie Xieling’s brows twitched when he saw that face that was eighty per cent similar to his mother’s. If he was drunk he might have mistaken her for his mother. She might look like her but her walk and mannerisms weren’t the same.
He turned his eyes sharply at the man standing facing the wall-to-ceiling windows. His gaze was fixed at the twin high rise buildings a short distance over with melancholy in his eyes.
Luo Muchen clenched his jaw tightly restraining himself. This sick bastard had actually found someone who looked like his mother to satisfy his sick and twisted fantasies.
The man turned his head slowly and glanced at Luo Muchen. He raised his hand and beckoned him over like they were familiar.
When Luo Muchen didn’t come over he said, "That... don’t overthink it. Your mother is stunning and there is no one else like her in this entire universe. That woman had plastic surgery to look like her, that’s all," he explained like he didn’t want to hide anything from his dearest son.
Luo Muchen ignored his words and directly asked, "What do you want?"
Lee Bigen turned completely to face him. He took a long puff on his cigar and took a step forward staring fixedly at him.
Stopping two feet away from Luo Muchen he tilted his head to the side and puffed out a stream of smoke before saying, "Can’t I just call to see you?"
Luo Muchen’s eyes grew colder as he said, "Now that you have seen me I am leaving," before turning to go out.
Lee Baigen suddenly grabbed his arm and pulled him back roughly while saying, "You should learn to control your emotions otherwise your enemies will take advantage of you."
Luo Muchen gritted his teeth as he grasped that wrist hard and removed it from his arm. Lee Baigen wasn’t angry at all. Instead, he said, "You want to protect your mother and that little friend of yours you better leave the country now. A storm is coming and you aren’t strong enough to bear it," his voice low and rough like he was having a sore throat.
Luo Muchen just glowered at him before turning to leave. He might not have any relationship with Lee Baigen but he took his warning seriously.
Lee Baigen didn’t stop him. He stood there watching his leaving back while biting his cigar. A slight quirk appeared on his face as he pinched the cigar in between his fingers.
When he was far enough Luo Muchen called his mother. Luo Shih who was enjoying a massage answered the call her voice sluggish and relaxed.
"What’s up, baby? Mum is enjoying a spa treatment," she said with her bodyguard holding up the cell phone for her.
Luo Muchen rubbed the back of his neck while saying, "Up security for a while."
Luo Shih hummed softly before saying, "Don’t stay out late."
Luo Muchen exhaled deeply before walking back to the private room. While he was gone things had headed in an interesting direction.
Li Na had suggested they play seven minutes in heaven. Everybody agreed including Qie Xieling who had no idea what the hell the game was.
They spun the bottle and the first pair left for the inner space in the private room. The timer was turned on and when the seven minutes were up the girl had on a shy expression while the boy looked like he had just won a grand prize.
Before a new round started they all took shots before spinning the bottle again. This time it was Bo Ailun who spun the bottle and when it stopped on Wei Qi, Bo Ailun was so happy. He excitedly followed her.
Before the door of the inner room closed Qie Xieling yelled after him. "Don’t do anything I wouldn’t do," but Bo Ailun raised his middle finger at him before closing the door.
Qie Xieling chuckled as he lowered his head. With a blush on her cheeks, Lee Ya asked, "What do you think they are going to do in there."
Qie Xieling had no idea but knowing Wei Qi there wouldn’t be any kissing and not even hugging.
Qie Xieling shrugged his shoulders. Sure enough not even seven minutes later, Bo Ailun came out wailing. He leaned on Qie Xieling’s back while complaining.
"My poor eyes. That woman is evil," he said and Lee Ya smirked evilly.
When they entered the inner room, Wei Qi smiled sweetly and asked him, "Do you want to see something?"
Bo Ailun thought he was going to see something x rated so he excitedly nodded his head. He did see something x rated alright but it was a yaoi manga with no censored bits. For six and a half minutes he was trapped in there with a fujoshi. If this wasn’t torture then what else is?
"Lin Lin, my poor eyes wuwuwuwu she is too heartless," he wailed while Qie Xieling stroked the back of his head like a doting father trying to comfort his aggrieved son.
"Let’s continue. Ya Ya, it’s your turn," said Li Na excitedly and Lee Ya who had practised for this day spun the bottle with great precision.
As expected the bottle pointed at Qie Xieling and she bowed her head shyly like this was an accident. Thinking his opportunity had come, Qie Xieling ignored the jeers and egging on from the group of boys and girls as he stood up.
The door closed and Li Na didn’t immediately start the timer. She wanted to give her friend enough time to seduce her crush.
It was at this very moment Luo Muchen walked in and found that Qie Xieling was nowhere to be found. When he saw that Lee Ya wasn’t there either he suddenly had a very bad premonition.
