Saving the Heartthrob Frenemy-Chapter 632: Bedroom advice
With the attitude that we live together and die together, Qie Xieling wouldn’t let Bo Ailun slip away. Besides he needed a witness if Luo Muchen found out later. He didn’t want his sweetheart to misunderstand.
Turns out Qie Xieling was right to do this because Lee Ya had a plan when she came here. She couldn’t fully trust her father to get things done thus she came here to stir the pot. Her mother taught her that there was no such thing as a perfect relationship. There were always cracks, all one has to do is find them. Stir up trouble in paradise hard enough and one might start a storm.
She glanced at her friend standing with the other girls and their gazes met. She gave Lee Ya a knowing smile before glancing in a certain direction signalling something.
Lee Ya lowered her head, tucking a loose strand of hair behind her ear looking like she was about to confess her feelings. She had already done that before several times but he had rejected her each time.
She stubbornly declared that as long as he didn’t have a girlfriend she would never give up while at the same time dealing with any girl who showed interest in him in the dark. Once one of her friends mentioned that since his parents were gay he might actually like a boy and the one constant in his life was Bo Ailun. That’s where her animosity towards him came from.
When she finally realised that it was her own half-brother she had to worry about it was already too late but as a spoilt princess how could she give him up without a fight? Since Luo Muchen had slipped up and left Qie Xieling alone she had to take advantage of it.
"I haven’t been able to get hold of you," she murmured, her voice barely audible. "How are you doing?"
Qie Xieling was wary of her and his experience in the game made this feeling even more intense. Lee Ya was the type that if you showed her a hint of a smile she would misunderstand and become even more sticky thus his indifference was palpable. He glanced at her, his gaze sliding off like water on polished glass. "I am good. You?" he replied curtly hoping that would drive her away as soon as possible.
But Lee Ya was determined. She took a step closer, her breath hitching. "Lin-ge," she began again, her voice trembling, "I was so scared. I—"
Before she could finish, she lunged forward her arms outstretched. She was making a move to hug him and then capture this moment to spread it all over the country. She had already had various media outlets on standby to sell this story. The headlines would read ’Heir of GameX share a tender kiss with Lee group heiress’ and with a little push, it would go viral and spread everywhere. Of course, she wasn’t so hopeful that they would kiss. It was all about the angles of the pictures.
Her plan was somewhat flawless but she didn’t think that Qie Xieling would forsee her next move. He sidestepped his hand catching Bo Ailun’s arm in the process.
Bo Ailun caught off guard, stumbled forward. Lee Ya, unable to halt her momentum, crashed into him. The collision sent them both reeling and for a moment, the surroundings fell silent.
Bo Aulin, "..."
"Aaahhhh," he screamed taking a step back while covering his chest like he had been violated. He instantly backed up his friend but vowed to get all his figurines after this.
"Miss Lee, I know I am good looking but an unmarried woman like you should learn to restrain herself," he said before leaning forward and whispering, "People might talk."
Lee Ya’s face was flushed crimson from anger but she restrained herself. "I am so sorry. My foot slipped," she said and Bo Ailun’s eyes widened. Fake! This was all an act. When was this person ever this nice? Either the world was coming to an end or she had swapped souls in her body.
Qie Xieling’s expression on the other hand remained unchanged. "Is there anything else you wanted to say," he said coolly, "because I have places to be."
Lee Ya’s eyes welled up, but she shook her head appearing defeated. If one didn’t know any better it would look like Qie Xieling was bullying a weak helpless young woman.
He grabbed Bo Ailun’s arm and said, "Let’s go." Bo Ailun smirked as he let Qie Xieling pull him away.
The bashful embarrassed expression on Lee Ya’s face vanished and she glanced at her friend who shook her head. Lee Ya clenched her jaw tightly like it would snap at any moment. She had other means to get what she wanted. While Qie Xieling was obediently listening to Bo Ailun scolding him for throwing him under the bus, Luo Muchen was experiencing something novel.
He had received a call from Qie Xieling’s grandma asking him to help them with something. Wanting to be in his future in law’s good books he drove over there. Who would have thought these two women would drag him along shopping and then take him to the spa at some country club?
He told Qie Xieling that his grandma and nana had asked him to come along but he didn’t get to tell him where they were exactly before his phone was taken away.
This was a no-phone zone type of spa. Their motto was to relax and leave the outside world behind. If he didn’t know any better he would have thought this was a prelude to a cult.
He had refused all the listed services because of his mysophobic tendencies. He could only settle for visiting the private sauna which was quite refreshing.
Wrapped in a plush white gown he went to look for his in-laws. It didn’t take him long to find them given that they were chatting loudly. The topic of discussion was something Luo Muchen would never thought he would hear in his entire life. He almost turned around to go back where he came from but Nana Qie had already noticed him.
"Mu Mu come sit down," she said and the lady who appeared to be familiar with Nana Qie and Grandma Wen spoke up.
"I don’t know about this. Wouldn’t he be uncomfortable?" she asked but the two elderly women who were never embarrassed beckoned him over.
"No no, don’t worry about it. He won’t mind," said Grandma Qie while waving him over.
He walked over with hesitant steps into the vacant seat at the far end. The air was rich with the scent of jasmine and sandalwood making the environment even more relaxing. The soft instrumental music playing in the background and the gentle murmur of water from the nearby fountain relaxed his tense nerves.
The three women ensconced in their own relaxation continued chatting while having their feet pampered in the luxurious foot spa.
"... you must put a little more effort. I know having kids drops your libido drastically but you two have to put in more work," said Nana Qie with a stern face like she was seriously advising a daughter-in-law.
"Yeah, make it more exciting and addictive. I assure you you will be less stressed," echoed Grandma Qie while closing her eyes with a soft smile plastered on her face.
Luo Muchen, "..."
Yep, he really shouldn’t be here. This was a conversation not meant for his ears. He was about to excuse himself when he heard the woman say,
"What if he is never interested when I try to touch him? He always says that he is tired or he just never goes further than that making out."
Luo Muchen shouldn’t have been so concerned about this but the more the woman spoke the more he was starting to think he was under the same situation. Despite every effort he had made, he failed to get Qie Xieling to go all the way. This to him was more worrying, especially after when he saw what they did in the game.
He was worried that Qie Xieling might have changed his mind and not find him attractive enough to go all the way with. Surely in his worry, he had completely overlooked the things they did in the car.
He wanted Qie Xieling to want him even more but anything short of taking his clothes off he didn’t know what else to do.
"... I was so worried that he might be getting it elsewhere and went through his phone. There was nothing there but I felt so guilty. I really don’t know what to do?" continued the woman seeming really worried.
"Does he know you went through it?" asked Nana Qie and the woman shook her head no and said,
"He was passed out cold from a night out."
"You should try this tonight. This always had my late husband in the mood even when he was tired. Take a nice hot shower with a nice smelling shower gel. It shouldn’t be a scent that is too overpowering nor too faint...," said Grandma When her eyes squinted recalling the good times.
Seeing that she had been silent for a while Nana Qie asked, "And then what?"
"And then pick his favourite shirt and put it on. Spray a little bit of his cologne on your neck then wait for him to come home. That’s how I got baby baby Dan. It was a memorable night," she replied the smile on her face telling.
Luo Muchen’s brows creased slightly lost in thought.
"Ah-Chen! Ah-Chen!’’ called out Nana Qie seeing that he was lost in thought.
