Chapter 633: The heir of GameX dating the heiress of the Lee family

Luo Muchen finally came back to himself and turned to look at Nana Qie. "Oh, I am sorry. I was lost in thought just now," he said his voice slightly hoarse.

"You’re missing out. Are you sure you don’t want to get a foot treatment?" chuckled Grandma Wen, her voice echoing slightly in the spacious room.

"Yes, a strong massage would straighten out those knots," teased Nana Qie, wagging a freshly manicured finger at him. From his silence and zombie-like appearance, they assumed that the conversation had indeed made him uncomfortable so they tried to change the subject.

His cheeks flushed from embarrassment. If only these elders knew what he was planning to do with their grandson. They would probably faint from anger.

He ducked his head, a bashful grin spreading across his face. "I think the sauna’s heat is enough for today," he mumbled, but the two women only laughed harder, their affectionate teasing a familiar and comforting melody.

The evening air was thick with the aroma of sizzling meat as Qie Xieling led Bo Ailun through the bustling streets to a small, unassuming grill house they always frequented. The wooden sign above the door creaked gently in the breeze, the character for ’grill’ barely visible in the dimming light.

It appeared dingy from the outside but inside, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, the clinking of glasses and the murmur of conversation blending with the crackle of the grill. It was furthest from a five Michelin star restaurant and if his father found out where his dearest son was dining at he would be seething with anger. Thus this place was their little secret.

The waiters greeted them familiarly as they walked over to an empty table overlooking the street. "This is not what I meant when I said you should get me expensive steak," complained Bo Ailun but he still sat down eagerly looking at the menu that he had read countless times before.

Qie Xieling pointed at the menu and said, "You can pick the most expensive platter on the menu. You know you love the food here so why the long face?"

Bo Ailun couldn’t even refute that. Each time they went elsewhere he would rub his tummy with a regretful expression on his face.

"This meal doesn’t count as an apology. You still owe me for making me hug that witch," said Bo Ailun as he sat the menu down.

Qie Xieling was about to kowtow to this ancestor and apologise again when the waiter came over.

"The usual for you?" he asked and Bo Ailun began to add on to the platter like this was his last supper.

The waiter arched his brow wondering how these two were going to finish all this food. They always ordered a lot of food before but not this much.

"Oh and ice-cold beer for me. As for him, he doesn’t deserve one. A glass of tap water will do," said Bo Ailun and Qie Xieling chuckled.

"Don’t mind him. Just get me a bottle of sparkly water and ice," he said. The waiter nodded his head as he wrote it down.

As soon as he left Qie Xieling said, "You really know how to hold a grudge, don’t you?"

Bo Ailun unlocked his cell phone while replying, "This is just the beginning. I still feel goosebumps thinking about that hug. She is fuckin scary... if I have nightmares I will move in with you till I recover."

Qie Xieling didn’t reject the idea. They could play games all night and watch movies. His phone was on silent thus when it buzzed and lit up in his pocket he didn’t notice.

"You just broke the school forum again," said Bo Ailun showing him the post that already had a thousand replies. There was even a video attached to it.

"What did I do now?" he asked but his voice was indifferent like he was disinterested.

"Apparently you fought someone surnamed Ding for a girl named Xiaolian. They said you lost interest in your faculty goddess and now you are coming for the campus beauty," said Bo Ailun and Qie Xieling’s brow twitched.

"What’s new? They will lose interest soon," he said as the waiter brought their drinks.

"Thanks," said Qie Xieling as he twisted the cap of the glass bottle. He poured out the water into the glass the ice dancing with effervescence.

"SHIT!" yelled Bo Ailun drawing other customers attention. He covered his mouth and bowed his head slightly several times in apology before turning to Qie Xieling. 𝕗𝐫𝚎𝗲𝘄𝐞𝕓𝐧𝕠𝘃𝕖𝐥.𝐜𝚘𝚖

Qie Xieling was wiping the table with a paper towel brought along with the cutlery by the waiter earlier. Bo Ailun’s loud curse scared the heck out of him making him spill some of the water.

"Somebody better be pregnant for you to scream like that," he said and Bo Ailun showed him his cell phone.

Qie Xieling took it and on the screen was a blurry picture of him and Lee Ya appearing like they were kissing at the race track. This image had obviously been manipulated using AI to make it appear as though they were kissing when he didn’t even get that close to her.

"The heir of GameX dating the heiress of the Lee family," he said his voice slow and lazy his eyes as deep and dark as an infinite abyss. He gave Bo Ailun his phone back having lost interest.

"You aren’t going to do something?" he asked seeming concerned. "They are even speculating that she is pregnant." The bloggers indeed went there. They had pictures of her before and after comparing them. They claimed that she had put on a few kilos thus she might be pregnant. Qie Xieling didn’t need to worry because his father would take care of it.

"Forget it and let’s eat," he said as the waiter brought over a meat platter with a feast fit for a king, or in this case, two ravenous young men.

The lamb skewers glistened beside perfectly seared T-bone steaks, chicken wings charred to a golden hue, and an array of roasted vegetables added a splash of colour to the pattern. Bowls of spicy, sweet, and tang dipping sauces completed the ensemble.
