Chapter 158: An immoral cult

Qie Xieling no longer thought of what would happen tomorrow. Rather he focused on King Luo’s breathing. As though under a hypnotic spell, he slowly drifted off to sleep. One dragon and sorcerer slept peacefully.

When Qie Xieling woke up early morning, he touched his chest and found that the warmth that was there last night was gone. As he sat up, he almost thought he had hallucinated it. Looking at the haughty attitude of the little dragon, this notion was even more solidified.

While the four of them were walking down the alley, Qie Xieling saw a shop selling dresses. He immediately took a detour and entered the store against Yunning’s protest.

He grabbed two more dresses. He was sort of tired of wearing the same dress. He could wear his own clothes, but that would be pointless.

Qie Xieling changed into an off shoulder-green corset dress, and from the look on his face, he seemed to be enjoying this.

When he stepped out, he caught them staring at him, so he asked, "What?" while glancing down at the bottom skirt.

"Did you have a habit of cross-dressing before, or are you just too heartbroken that you have decided to make this a thing," said Boran, and Qie Xieling complained.

"You think I want to be disguised as a girl? It’s all because of you two... now let’s go. The sooner we are done with this, the sooner I get a manicure."

Everyone, "..."

Qie Xieling flipped his hair as he turned to leave. He was the type of person to find pleasure in his suffering, so yes, he was going to embrace being a young woman with open arms.

Soon they reached the building in the middle of the town with a large symbol of the sun. When the guards outside saw them, they welcomed Qie Xieling in before saying, "No men and pets allowed."

Everyone, "..."

The little dragon showed a displeased expression. Who was this brawny guy calling a pet? Before King Luo could explode, Qie Xieling blocked his view and said, "Okay, then wait for us here."

Boran and King Luo were forced against their will to stay. The two women entered through the door before it was closed immediately. Boran turned to King Luo. He wanted to ask where they should go and wait, but he found that the tiny dragon was nowhere to be found. He didn’t even need anyone to tell him where he went.

Meanwhile, Qie Xeiling was in awe. This place wasn’t what he expected. It was basically a den for women to smoke, drink and dance with no prying eyes.

They were all clad in the same coloured clothes with relaxed expressions like stoners basking in the sun.

The two girls from yesterday stood up, with one of them almost having half her breast exposed. She didn’t even bother fixing it while tugging him along.

Qie Xieling looked away uncomfortably, and she noticed. With a chuckle, she said, "What do you have to act shy for? We are all women here."

"Soon, you will see even more than this," said the other girl while pushing the curtain open.

Qie Xieling didn’t have enough time to figure out her meaning when Yunning was forced to stay in the common area.

"Only she can come in," she said, and Yunning glared at Eling as though yelling at him that if he dared run, she would hunt him down and kill him herself.

Qie Xieling understood that look very well, but he had more pressing issues. He was starting to think he might have stumbled upon a cult. An immoral cult, for that matter. ’What sort of game did your boss create? It feels very unsettling,’ he said to the system, but it ignored him.

When the third curtain was pushed open, a young woman with her dress slipping down her shoulders looked up at him with seductive eyes like that of the temptress Medusa. He feared if he stared too long, he would be turned to stone.

She placed her hand over the woman who was massaging her shoulders and whispered something.

The woman got up and left. "You were right. She is stunning," said the leader while exhaling a puff of smoke.

Qie Xieling happened to glance down and found that she had a tattoo of the sun symbol on her chest. She beckoned him over with her fingers.

Qie Xieling was now more than certain. This was a house deviants, and that right there was a fox spirit. He vowed not to drink anything offered to him lest he gets drugged.

Qie Xieling obediently sat down, and they were soon left alone in the room. "You can call me Sol or, as others might call me, the disgraced celestial," she said, and Qie Xieling suddenly understood why she might know how to bring down a goddess.

Sol leaned in close and blew a puff of smoke in Qie Xieling’s face, her lips inches close to his.

Qie Xieling coughed, and the celestial chuckled softly. From atop the roof, King Luo thought that they kissed. From his angle, it looked like it. Shocked, the tiny dragon slipped and fell straight into Qie Xieling’s lap. The celestial wanted to burn the little thing to ash on impulse, but Qie Xieling suddenly hugged the tiny thing tightly against his bosom.

"I am so sorry. The little idiot gets nervous when I am not around. She probably snuck in because she was worried."

The celestial’s brow raised, looking at the tiny thing exuding a deadly aura that even made her ill at ease. "She?" she asked.

Not only she but even King Luo was perplexed. He had been misgendered and also called an idiot. How could he not be offended?

Qie Xieling stroked King Luo’s back while saying, "My name is Lilian. My friends and I are just passing by and don’t intend to stay."

King Luo wanted to bite his fingers, but he found that he was powerless when touched by him.

"Why not stay here with me," she replied, leaning in closer with her neck tilted. Her signals were obvious, but Qie Xieling didn’t plan to be one of her trophy girls, and besides, he wasn’t a woman at all. She would eventually find out, and his head would most definitely get spiked with a spear.

King Luo growled as she approached closer, and Qie Xieling shoved it in his clothes to prevent a disaster.

"I really can’t. I have unfinished business with Yana. I want to kill her goddess mother," he said, and she seemed to have lost interest.

She leaned back and called out to one of the girls, possibly to lead them out. Qie Xieling had no choice but to think fast otherwise this mission would be considered a failure.
