Saving the Heartthrob Frenemy-Chapter 159: deviant running a s** cult
Qie Xieling wasn’t the smartest person alive, nor was he a good problem solver, but he was a fast thinker. When he read this celestial’s character design, his jaw almost dropped dead to the floor.
That’s because this woman, as expected, was a deviant running a sex cult. No wonder she had been kicked out of the upper planes. They probably couldn’t stand her up there and exiled her here.
Since she was helping the city and this was none of Qie Xieling’s business he just ignored it. Before one of the women could lead him out, Qie Xieling suddenly thought of something so he said, "I do have something you will be interested in though."
Sol pulled up the sleeve that was hanging low on her shoulder and leaned back. "Which is?" she asked and Qie Xieling pulled out a bag with a yellow pill. At a glance, it looked like a panacea but she knew what the hell it was. Her eyes brightened as she reached over to get it but Qie Xieling pulled his hand away.
"It’s very effective and all you need is to toss it into the incense burner. I guarantee you won’t be disappointed," he explained and Sol was struggling to contain herself.
"How did you get your hands on it? It is very rare," she said and Qie Xieling had no idea either where Eling got it from. It’s most likely he had robbed it from a controversial master pill refiner.
"It’s called draught of verve and its effects are phenomenal. I will give it to you if you help me get what I want."
What he had brought to the table made Sol ready to hand over everything she owned. She snapped her fingers and a woman brought over a brocade box.
"Here, I don’t need to explain to you how to get there. You will figure it out yourself," she said and Qie Xieling accepted it.
He took out another one and said, "This one is for....," before whispering into her ear. The little dragon in his clothes had stopped moving mostly because it was intoxicated by the comforting scent.
Sol didn’t ask. She just pulled out a pouch and handed it to him. "Nice doing business with you," he said and she didn’t seem to care about her anymore as she waved her hand while tossing the yellow pill in the incense burner.
"Fuck," yelped Qie Xieling before picking up pace.
King Luo who was indulging in the comfort of Eling’s clothes, was suddenly jolted awake. Before he had time to register what was happening, Eling grabbed Yunning’s hand while repeating, "Gotta go, gotta go." Yunning wanted to fight him off but she suddenly felt like her body was getting warm. Her steps faltered but Eling continued to pull her out.
When they reached outside, Qie Xieling let her hand go and heaved a big sigh with a look of relief on his face.
After calming himself down, he turned to look at her while saying, "Let’s go... damn!" He yelped out when he saw her face was red. She looked like she had been affected though the effects weren’t as bad.
King Luo popped his head out and saw the same thing. He couldn’t help but glare at Eling and Qie Xieling had to defend himself. "What? I didn’t pull the trigger. I just gave Sol the gun. Who would have thought she would use it before we managed to escape?"
Boran and Qie Xieling helped her to the inn and had to tie her up just in case she jumped out of the window to look for someone to help her.
"Don’t you have anything she can use? Maybe some antidote or something?" he asked and Qie Xieling answered,
"She just needs to sleep on it. No magic can deal with this. That’s the whole point. Well... unless King Luo here wants to stay with her?"
King Luo, "..."
Qie Xieling chuckled seeing his expression. He walked out of the room, followed by Boran. They both knew that she wouldn’t want them to witness her embarrassing moment so they left.
Qie Xieling entered his room and shut the door feeling very uncomfortable. After all that smoke and the lustful smell lingering on his body, he just had to take a bath or something. Without a second thought he stripped his clothes after setting the little dragon on the bed.
Seeing him pulling the strings of his corset, his eyes widened before looking away. Qie Xieling saw this and couldn’t help but laugh. "We are both men. Why are you still acting shy?"
King Luo heard the word ’still’ and couldn’t understand what he meant. Before he could think about it something wrapped around his neck. He raised his head only to find Eling wrapping a collar around his neck.
"I don’t know why it looks like this but it will help you get better so you can’t take it off," he said and seeing King Luo wearing it made him feel so happy for whatever reason. He looked like a cute iguana wearing a collar. Now he wanted an iguana and he would call it Mozart.
"Be good and don’t take it off, alright," he said before walking behind the folding screen and heating the water to take a bath.
King Luo didn’t even wait for him to finish. He was already trying to tug at the collar and remove it. His teeth gnarling at the collar he suddenly fell to the ground with a loud thud.
Qie Xieling who had already taken off his clothes, rushed over having heard the loud sound. His reaction was purely instinctual.
King Luo felt a pair of hands lifting him up and when he raised his head, he was met by a naked chest. His heart jerked as if he had been electrocuted.
Qie Xieling wished he could lock the collar with magic so he wouldn’t be able to take it off. "Seriously, don’t take it off. I know you are in pain and I assure you this will help," he said before placing him on the bed and covering him with a quilt.
When King Luo managed to pop his head out of the quilt, he happened to catch a glimpse of Eling’s broad shoulders glowing under the sunlight seeping through the curtains.
The warm room cast a soft glow on his smooth, olive-toned skin. But it was the obvious red mark marring his otherwise flawless back that grabbed King Luo’s attention, drawing his gaze like a moth to a flame.
