Chapter 24: Chapter 24: Butler

Without much hesitation, he selected the 1st star difficulty and was instantly teleported to a random location.

Sam paid full attention to his surroundings, as tower administrators were known to employ tricky tactics.

Despite his considerable stat points, he chose to play it safe.

Suddenly, a horde of 10 goblins attacked, displaying decent teamwork.

Sam reacted swiftly, and a massacre ensued. In just two minutes, he had eliminated all of them.

He continued to progress through the higher difficulty stars, with numerous battles occurring until the 5th star difficulty.

During this level, he released all his skeletons to aid in the fight, then found a quiet spot to sit down.

Exhausted from battling, he contemplated his skills and techniques that still required refinement in the chaotic training.

"Huh! I still need a lot of training," he thought, feeling a tinge of sadness.

Unknown to Sam and his skeletons, the tower administrator had been watching their incredible feats.

He was stupefied; never before had he witnessed a player easily dispatch all monsters, especially with a summon that was just as formidable.

"Did you record all of this?" the administrator suddenly asked a worker, his expression filled with astonishment.

Upon a resounding knock, the butler promptly responded, "Young master, I'm coming," fully aware of the young master's habits.

"Uncle, do you really need to knock? Come in," replied the E-rank skeleton, though a tinge of nervousness lingered within.

"Very well, young master," the butler acquiesced and entered the room.

The moment the butler stepped inside, his brow furrowed deeply, emanating a chilling pressure that betrayed his S-rank prowess. 𝙗𝒆𝒅𝒏𝙤𝒗𝒆𝙡.𝙤𝒓𝙜

In an icy voice, he demanded, "Who are you?" The cold tone elicited beads of sweat on both Zhou Wen and the skeleton's foreheads.

Zhou Wen swiftly handled the situation, instructing the skeleton, "Assume your original form."

The skeleton complied, transforming back into its skeletal state and kneeling before the butler, confessing, "I am your master's servant."

"Eh!" the butler exclaimed, taken aback by the unexpected sight, as he had never witnessed anything like this skeleton before.

He cleared his throat, quickly inquiring about the young master, and both Zhou Wen and the skeleton proceeded to divulge everything about him.

[Do you wish to enter?]

"Eh!" I was thoroughly surprised by the tower's notification, exclaiming in my mind, 'What the hell?'

I immersed myself in deep thought, comparing my progress to that of the protagonist. Analyzing his adventures on the first floor, I gathered clues: he didn't amass more than 7000 tower points, nor did he slay all monsters to pass the difficulty.

[Author: For better understanding, refer to Chapter 10]

'Great,' I smiled, satisfied with the summary, and resolved to pursue the hidden mission, an eight-star challenge.

While others might find it an insurmountable blockade, to me, it's merely a hurdle.

'Enter,' I whispered, re-entering the barren realm, greeted by a new set of notifications.

[Tower System]

[To clear the hidden mission, you must survive for 24 hours or slay 500 F rank, 300 E rank, and 100 D rank monsters]

Stealthily moving through the barren world, concealed by 'Absolute Concealment,' I explored the area.

After a thorough investigation, I concluded that monsters of all challengeable ranks, from F to B, roamed these lands.

I focused on the D rank monster's lair, estimating around 150 monsters, comprising 100 F, 50 E, and 5 D ranks.

I unshackled my army of skeletons to hunt discreetly, ensuring we wouldn't attract other creatures.

Deactivating 'Absolute Concealment,' I informed Diablo, 'I will signal you.'

Reactivating the skill, I infiltrated the monster lairs, carefully avoiding lower-ranked foes, until I reached the boss location housing five D rank hell dogs.

My stats, far surpassing those of other players and monsters, currently reached C rank.

'Murmuring 'Netherworld Soul Devouring,' a blue flame engulfed the five D rank monsters as I commanded Diablo, 'Attack.'

Within moments, the hell dogs were reduced to charred remnants, filling the air with a burnt stench.

Thus, we swiftly cleared the first monster's lair.

'Let's increase the skeleton numbers,' I contemplated, a grin adorning my face.
