Reborn in the Survival Adventure Game-Chapter 40: Village Plans
Chapter 40 - 40: Village Plans
Morning came, and Caelen stood by the window, stretching. The sun was warm, the wind soft. He had already mined mythril and made good tools, but something kept pushing him. The urge to build, to grow.
"I'll make a blacksmith shop today," he said.
He opened his inventory, pulled out a pile of regular stone, and began crafting.

He smiled and called out to the others. "Zira, Garin, Miko, Rena! I need your help."
Zira was first to arrive. "What are we making now?"
"A blacksmith building. Time to step things up."
They all pitched in. Zira helped mix mud and water for mortar. Garin lifted bricks and set them in place. The kids carried tools and cheered Caelen on. They worked side by side, stacking brick after brick.
It took a few hours, but soon, the walls stood tall, and the roof was made from logs and leaves. They placed the furnace and anvil inside. It looked small, but it was solid.
"We did it," Caelen said, wiping sweat from his neck.
Zira nodded. "Looks great."
"Now we can forge tools without worrying about the rain," Garin added.
Not far from the blacksmith, they built a simple outdoor kitchen—just a stone counter, a chopping board, and space for a fire.
By noon, Caelen walked over to check on the garden. He saw something small and green sticking out of the ground.
"Corn?" he blinked, stepping closer. Tiny shoots had started growing.
He smiled. "It's working."
Then he checked the chicken coop. The hens clucked happily, and to his surprise, there were 10 eggs in the nest.
He collected them and ran to the outdoor kitchen. "Let's cook something new."
Zira followed. "What is it this time?"
"You'll see."
He cracked eggs into a pan and lit the fire. The eggs sizzled. The smell drifted through the air.
Garin and the kids came over, curious.
"What's that smell?" Rena asked.
"Eggs," Caelen said, flipping one. "Fried eggs." freёweɓnovel.com
They had never seen anything like it. Caelen cooked five sunny side up, then scrambled the other five and added a little salt.
He passed out plates. Everyone took a bite.
"Mmm!" Zira smiled. "This is amazing!"
Miko nodded fast. "So soft!"
Garin chewed slowly. "I want to learn this."
Caelen laughed. "We'll have more eggs tomorrow. I'll teach you."
After lunch, Caelen looked at the golems standing guard. They had worked so well. He had another idea.
He walked up to one of them and placed a hand on its chest.
[Command: Chop trees]
The golem turned and walked toward the forest, heavy and slow.
Zira blinked. "You're sending them out?"
"I'm planning to expand the village," Caelen said. "We need wood."
"What are you planning to build now?" Garin asked.
"A town hall, a bulletin board... maybe even walls and gates soon."
"Big dreams," Zira said.
"We've come far. Why stop now?"
He headed to the mines again and picked up more stone for later. The stone was heavy, but he didn't mind.
Back at the village, he dropped the new stone near the blacksmith. The golem came back carrying logs.

"That's going to help," Caelen said.
He looked over the village. It was small but growing. Everyone had a role now.
He noticed Miko helping Zira gather herbs. Rena was sweeping leaves off the path. Garin was checking the garden and talking to the chickens.
Everything felt alive.
Zira walked beside him. "You're always doing something."
"There's a lot to do," he said.
She smiled. "That's not a bad thing."
Caelen turned to her. "You really think this place can become a town?"
Zira looked at the golems, the buildings, the people. "Yes. You make it feel real."
He scratched his head. "I just do what makes sense."
Zira laughed. "And you're still clueless."
"Huh?"
"Nothing," she said, walking off again with a smile.
That night, they gathered at the campfire. Caelen cooked the last of the eggs. Zira brought dried mushrooms. Garin roasted some potatoes.
They sat close, talking about what to build next. The kids shared silly stories. Zira leaned a little closer to Caelen without saying much.
The fire flickered, the stars blinked above, and the village glowed with warmth.
Home.
