Something productive did come from the meeting. Their idea is really good. A group of people working under me for my benefit. It would be like my inner circle.

Leon handed me some documents. He said, "Duke Rinkshel's daughter has invited you to her birthday party."

Duke Rinkshel's daughter? Oh! The third heroine's father. He didn't come to the meeting as well. There are three duchies in the empire— Dimortyil Duchy, Glimpiseie Duchy, and Rinkshel Duchy.

Pristine Rinkshel, the princess of Rinkshel Duchy was the protagonist's third harem member. To be honest, she isn't a very significant character but her father, he is definitely one. Rinkshel Duchy's treasury is equal to that of Imperial treasury. He does hold a very significant status in the empire.

Duke Rinkshel is famous for being neutral. If I make a faction, he will be definitely a person that I will add. Now this in paper sounds good but... there is a problem. His daughter hates me. The reason is very simple, she likes the protagonist and me being his fiancée, has earned her hatred. To be honest, I don't want to go there.

"Can I not go? I am the emperor, it's my right. I can do anything."

"Yes, you can. But don't you want to add him to your faction? That is if you make it. A valuable addition, I daresay. Also, before Your Majesty was crowned as the emperor... she was a princess, who went to these events. So, I believe you should go. I request you, Your Majesty."

I shook my head and denied, "I don't want to go there."

"But Your Majesty, please reconsider it. Think about the benefits we could reap. Having a duke on our side would be very beneficial for us," Leon pleaded with me.

I sighed, "Fine... Leon, prepare a carriage. I will go there." Leon nodded and dashed out of the room. It seems Leon is adamant in sending me there.

Reaching the Rinkshel mansion, I stepped out of the carriage. I didn't bring Kaerin with me. Although, she literally begged me to bring her with me. It was very difficult for me to refuse her but I did. I don't want Pristine to comment on her.

The servants and knights of Rinkshel duchy stool in a line and bowed collectively at the sight of me.

"WE GREET TO THE SUN OF OUR EMPIRE!! LONG LIVE YOUR MAJESTY!"

They said in unison. I nodded at them and said, "Raise your heads. Continue your work." I passed them and went towards the entry point. Upon seeing me, the guard straightened his back and bowed to me, and so did the herald.

I looked at the herald and said, "You should announce my arrival."

"Y-yes, Your M-m-majesty," he stuttered.

The knight opened the gate. The herald announced, "The Emperor of our glorious empire has graced us with her presence. THE EMPEROR OF CHARATSHORE EMPIRE, SHARON CHARATSHORE IS ENTERING. MAKE WAY FOR YOUR MAJESTY, THE EMPEROR!!!"

"Good job," I commented. He smiled and bowed his head repeatedly at me.

"Thank you, Your Majesty."

I passed them and entered into the hall, where every noble of the empire gathered. People of both the factions were there. All of them nodded and greeted me. Not wanting to waste any time with them, I just nodded and moved in search of the duke. Although, it wasn't needed. He came running towards me.

"Long Live, Your Majesty. I humbly welcome you to grace my daughter's birthday with your presence," said Duke Rinkshel.

"It's my honour, Duke. I am very glad to be here. So, where's your daughter? Where's the birthday girl? I want to hand her the present with my very own hands."

He paled a bit at my words. Of course, he should. His daughter and I had some bad blood between us.

"Don't worry, I don't plan to fight with her. Now tell me where she is, before I lose my temper," I warned him.

Swallowing his saliva like some tasty food, he nodded. He said, "She is with her friends in the garden.

"Good."

After getting the directions, I walked accordingly and reached the garden. There, I saw some noblewomen sitting at a table and discussing among themselves.
