Chapter 630: Zaque’s and Quizen’s kisses

"I’m going to help my husbands clean up." Coco called over her shoulders, making her friends stop in their tracks.

"What?" Cleora perked up from her spot to the refrigerator and raised an eyebrow. "Go out there and start explaining! I can help them clean the table instead—"

"No way." Coco refused and cut her mother off. "Why don’t you have a conversation with them while we finish cleaning up? You have already done enough anyway. Just relax and get to know my friends better."

Jonathan swallowed thickly, his eyes darting between Coco and Cleora.

Out of the three of them, he’s the only one who doesn’t feel that comfortable talking to Coco’s mother like they’re friends— well, it’s not like Cleora is talking to them with the thought of befriending them, but still.

It’s nerve-wracking. The scarred mediator thought, beads of sweat forming in his forehead.

Then, all of a sudden, Jacques turned away from the mother-daughter duo and looked at Jonathan, her eyebrows creasing together in worry.

"You don’t look good." The pink haired woman pointed out, her eyes scanning Jonathan’s slightly pale face. "Do you want to go home? I can let Coco know that you don’t feel well. She will understand."

"I know." Jonathan mumbled, the corner of his lips down turned into a frown. "But that’s why I want to stay.. Because I know she will understand."

"Then go home." Renaldo looked at his fellow mediator, his worry evident in his dark eyes. "Don’t force yourself if you don’t feel well, okay? We know that you’re tired from work so we would prefer it if you go home and relax."

"But how about you and Jacques?" Jonathan asked, anxiety coursing through his veins. 𝘧𝓇ℯℯ𝑤ℯ𝘣𝓃ℴ𝓋𝑒𝑙.𝑐𝘰𝑚

"We’ll be fine." Jacques assured him and placed a hand on his bicep, giving his limb a gentle squeeze to emphasize her assurance. "I want to get to know her mother better, so I’ll be staying."

"Me, too." Renaldo stated, his voice gruff with a tinge of excitement.

"Nevermind.. I’ll just stay." Jonathan sighed, turning away from them and walking towards the living room instead, but the married couple was quick to run after him to offer comfort.

On the other hand, Cleora got pushed out of the kitchen by Coco.

"If you don’t want to talk to my friends, then go upstairs and sleep!" Coco huffed out, crossing her arms in her chest. "Don’t be stubborn and just take a rest now."

"But I’m not tired—" Cleora tried to argue, but seeing the look of I-dare-you in Coco’s face quickly shut her up. "Okay, fine, fine, fine.. I’ll go talk to your friends instead. Just don’t be upset with me. I’m sorry."

Coco visibly relaxed in her spot and sighed. "My goodness. Finally! Thank you."

Cleora narrowed her eyes at her daughter, but didn’t comment further and instead, turned away from her, raising her chin in the air and walked towards the living room.

If she doesn’t want her mother to help in the kitchen, then fine! Suit herself.

Coco watched her mother walk away from the kitchen and quickly rush back inside the room, shutting the door close behind her with a loud slam and locked it.

The mediators and the hybrid practically jumped on their spot at the sudden loud noise, their pulse skipping a beat.

"Coco?" Zaque called, his eyebrows furrowing in confusion. "Is everything okay?"

The woman in question rushed towards Quizen and grabbed him by the collar, she didn’t even give him time to react before she pulled him down to her height and pressed her lips on his.

The others quickly looked away from the scene, choosing to give their wife the privacy she might want.

Quizen immediately melted into Coco’s kiss, especially when she was forceful with the way she dominated his tongue, the wet muscle exploring like it didn’t explore the same mouth just yesterday morning in his bathroom.

It hasn’t been a minute since she kissed Quizen, but she already pulled away.

"Zaque." Coco called, her voice sounding a little breathless which sent a shiver down to the mediators’ and, unfortunately, the hybrid’s groins. "Come here, pretty boy."

The red haired mediator stiffened just a tad bit, but he did as he was told.

Once he got closed enough, Coco reached up to grab him by the collar and brought him down to her height, eagerly pressing her lips against his in a fervent kiss.

Zaque immediately returned the fervor of her kiss, his tongue battling hers with desperation.

He doesn’t know why Coco suddenly wanted to give them kisses right in front of the purple eyed hybrid, but she seemed quite fine to show such a sight to him.

Just like Quizen’s, Coco didn’t let the kids last long.

She pulled away from his lips and had to place her hand on his lower face to stop him from chasing her lips for more.

"I kissed you and Quizen because I kissed Alhai and Heiren earlier." Coco rasped out, her thumb tracing the trail of saliva at the corner of Zaque’s lips. "I didn’t want to become unfair, so I had to do it now."

"You don’t have to be fair." Heiren spoke up, shifting his eyes away from the dishes he’s washing to look at his wife. "It’s your right to give whoever you want a kiss or a hug."

"But I want to be fair." Coco retorted, her eyebrows furrowing as she pulled her hand away from Zaque’s face.

"Let her be, Heiren." The third husband chimed in, causing the second husband to let out a resigned sigh. "We must keep in mind that she has a different view of things because she’s not from this world."

"Right, right." Heiren mumbled, puffing his cheeks out slightly.

"Anyway." Coco cleared her throat and pulled away from Zaque, stalking over to Kairo instead. "I’m not the type of girl who is patient and calm, so I wanted to do this as soon as possible."

"Do what—"
