Even under armed surveillance, Long Tian looked like a man taking a nap in his own bedroom.

Everyone was surprised at how nonchalant he was.

Shouldn’t he be showing signs of panic?

But here he was acting as if he were in his home.

They wanted to lash at him but with a glance from the young man, they held it in.

It didn’t take long before they reached their destination.

Long Tian saw a gigantic base and saw they hadn’t gone to the normal police station, it seems it’s the special police base.

"I hope I am safe." He chuckled when he saw the base.

They entered while Long Tian was brought to the interrogation room.

He sat calmly in the chair while the five men kept a close watch on him.

Then the young man walked in with documents and sat before him, only the table separated them.

He smiled at Long Tian and said, "Sorry for the wait. My name is Leng Wushen."

He stretched his hands forward for a handshake.

Long Tian glanced at it and didn’t shake it, "I still haven’t known the reason I was brought here."

Leng Wushen retracted his hands awkwardly and said, "Like I mentioned before, we are doing this for your safety and others. Whether you like it or not, this is the safest place for you right now."

"Danger?" Long Tian opened his eyes slightly. "From who exactly?"

"Long Tian, nineteen years old... Even I was surprised by that." The young man chuckled as he began to read the document in his hands.

"Arrived in China on August 25, ****. On the same day, he had a marriage certificate with the CEO of Glacier Crown Corporation, Meng Lingxue. Working at the same corporation as a sales representative...."

Long Tian listened as they mentioned every place he visited till they arrested him. The only place they were unable to mention was the herb store area and the clash he had with the seven men.

"Now you are hunted as a bounty target by all underworld forces and if I am right, the ten men that died this morning were your doing." Leng Wushen smiled as his gaze was on Long Tian.

"And so..." Long Tian shrugged his shoulders.

"We won’t pursue the fact that you killed them as you are protecting yourself. But as I said we want to protect you, I believe this is the best place to do so." Leng Wushen said.

"I don’t need your protection. The underworld forces are no big deal to me." Long Tian replied arrogantly.

The temperature in the room seemed to drop slightly.

His gaze locked with Leng Wushen’s, "Even though I am surprised you dug into my identity this deeply."

His tone was cold and calm. Leng Wushen felt his dislike for investigating his background.

"You can’t blame us. We needed to confirm whether you’re a criminal... or something worse."

Leng Wushen leaned forward, his smile fading.

"Tell me, Long Tian..."

"What exactly are you?"

Long Tian also leaned forward, "A human being like you."

His reply made Leng Wushen freeze.

Long Tian stood up, "Since you are able to dig out this much about my identity, then you should know who placed the bounty for my head."

His gaze turned cold and ruthless.

Leng Wushen felt chills from those gaze, he slowly calmed himself and replied, "It’s the Huang Family."

Long Tian frowned, "Huang Family....."

He had no idea of offending such family or are they related to the Long Family. He shook his head, there was no way his identity could be found out.

Leng Wushen who saw Long Tian’s confusion, "You don’t know them or have any likely idea why you offended them."

He nodded as he sat back down

This made the room silent. All of this doesn’t seem to make sense to Leng Wushen.

"I don’t know how you got involved in this but the head of the Huang Family just lost his son few days ago. We were speculating if this was why you are hunted and your involvement in it." He said.

"Do you have the photo of his son?" Long Tian asked.

"Yeah."Leng Wushen brought a picture and showed it to him. 𝙛𝓻𝒆𝒆𝒘𝙚𝓫𝙣𝙤𝒗𝙚𝓵.𝙘𝙤𝙢

Long Tian looked at the familiar person in the picture and his lips curled up into a smile, "Oh, interesting!"

He didn’t expect that someone he had already forgotten killing would cause him this much trouble.

Fate... how amusing.

He just killed a random person and his background turned out to be powerful.

Such a crooked karma.

"Do you know him?" Leng Wushen asked when he saw Long Tian’s surprised expression.

He remembered that the Huang Family’s son was killed by seven men who commited suicide after their act. He saw no connection between Long Tian and Leng Wushen.

What he didn’t know was what Huang Yin erased the information about when Long Tian and his son met in the antique store till the seven men attacked him.

Because if this was found out, the special police would protect Long Tian as his son attacked Long Tian by ordering men and it wasn’t Long Tian that killed him directly.

Long Tian didn’t reply him but asked a question, "Is the Huang Family powerful?"

Leng Wushen was baffled by this sudden question, "They are.."

He had expected it, for someone to put such amount on a bounty, it shows they aren’t ordinary.

He smiled and looked at Leng Wushen, "Can I get their location?"

The room fell silent for a brief moment.

Leng Wushen frowned, "What do you want to do?"

"What do you do to a problem?" Long Tian asked.

"You solve it." Leng Wushen replied even though he was confused by Long Tian’s questions.

"That’s what I’m going to do." Long Tian grinned.

"And how do you plan to do that?" he asked.

"That’s simple. By eliminating the source of the problem." Long Tian chuckled.

Leng Wushen was confused for a moment, before he got what Long Tian meant.

His eyes widened for a moment.
