My CEO Boss Is A Masked Internet Sensation-Chapter 312: Her Wedding Dress
Chapter 312: Her Wedding Dress
(Arata)
The girls revealed the magnificent crimson wedding dress to me.
Stunned and speechless, I watched the heavy gown, like of which I had never witnessed before.
The use of sheer fabric and dense embroidery, made it stand out. It was form-fitting and intricately adorned with silver and ruby-like embellishments in floral and leaf motifs.
The neckline was in illusion-style with nude mesh, creating a graceful V-shape framed by ornate embroidery and gemstone detailing.
With long and sheer sleeves, flowing into cape-like panels that added grandeur because of the delicate embroidery and scattered beadwork.
Voluminous and floor-length skirt flared into a magnificent train. It had been densely embroidered at the base with lavish gold threadwork and featured symmetrical botanical designs with subtle sparkle from sequins and pearls.
The dress had a strong hourglass shape due to the cinched waist and flared skirt, enhancing my figure.
In short words, I was extremely overwhelmed by such a fancy and the most beautiful dress I had ever witnessed.
My hands slowly passed over it and I could imagine Karsten detailing it.
Seeing my reaction, Roshra calmly said. "It’s a tradition in Sparia to wear heavy dresses like that for your wedding. I am sure that’s why my brother created one like this for you. It looks gorgeous, don’t worry."
Cherry and Stella agreed. "You look stunning and the dress is out of this world."
I couldn’t peel my eyes off the dress in the mirror as they helped adjust the heavy jewellery and then the veil.
I had modelled for a while, so I knew how to carry myself in heavy dresses, and this was my wedding day.
Once every preparation was finished, I hardly recognised myself. I had completely transformed into a Red Queen from some fairytale.
"Gorgeous, you look so perfect." They couldn’t stop complimenting me.
The girls gathered around me and we took some pictures.
Stella handed me a bouquet of blue roses, tied with red ribbon in a large bow.
The door had a small knock. Roshra answered it and let Baba in.
I saw his expressions going from wow to bamboozled.
His eyes boggled and an astonished smile graced his lips, almost emotional.
"Arata Chan! My beautiful beautiful girl." He happily moved closer and gave me a side hug, kissing the top of my head with all of his fatherly affection.
"Baba!" I closed my eyes and let myself be soaked in his unconditional love.
The girls gave us space so we could have a moment.
"It’s your day, Arata. And I am so proud of you." Baba held me and gently squeezed my shoulder.
"Thanks for believing in me and never giving up." I blinked several times to try and keep the tears at bay.
"We would never. I just want you to be happy and safe. Considering the security Karsten has arranged, I am sure my baby girl is in good hands."
My heart swelled and tears pricked the back of my eyes again. He was finally on the same page with me, ready to accept that I was getting married to someone he didn’t want to accept but did for my happiness.
"I am grateful, Baba, you gave him a chance," I said in a quivering voice, and he just held me to himself.
"You are the most precious to me. Come, he is waiting for you at the altar."
I sniffled and gave a nod, trying not to cry from all these bundles of emotions.
Baba led me out. We took the car and reached the venue with Hades. Girls helped me out and I observed the place was packed with Karsten’s security and our wedding decorations.
They bowed to me like one does for their Queen. Their eyes held nothing but respect.
We arrived inside and all of us took our positions. Stella adjusted my veil, one final time before going ahead.
Nervousness gripped me like a giant claw and I couldn’t fill my lungs with enough oxygen. I held Baba’s arm and he patted my hand.
"Relax! Arata. Remember, take a deep breath then hold it in for a few seconds before exhaling."
I focused on his words and did as he had said. The soft music of the band and thousands of petals laid on the path for me to walk on, soothed my senses a bit. ƒrēewebnoѵёl.cσm
Once Stella disappeared around the bend and the music reached its peak. It was time to move.
With tentative steps, a heightened heartbeat and starved eyes we took the turn to reach where guests had been seated. And at the end of the trail, I found my man.
Standing taller than everyone with a straight posture and a broad smile, he reserved just for me.
My heart seemed to have stopped for a millisecond as I stared up at him and took him in.
His elegance, his warmth, his love.
Murmurs and happy excited gasps of the crowd followed us as I walked on the blue petals’ path.
I enjoyed the mixture of emotions on his face. The one he loved hiding behind a mask, behind a fake façade, because he believed he needed to be tough.
Even from the veil, I could see him.
Not today...
Today, he bore them and wore them like a medal for me to witness.
His gaze refused to leave me, maybe marvelling at how I looked in the dress he had designed.
We arrived at the end of the trail and Baba patted my hand one last time. Karsten slowly and gracefully bent himself forward and offered me his hand so I could climb up.
With a warm smile, I accepted his outstretched hand and took a step up. Standing beside him.
"Take care of my daughter. From today onwards I am leaving her in your care," Baba said with a sad smile but Karsten placed his hand on his heart.
"I will guard her with my life and love her unconditionally."
Giving him an appreciative nod, Baba turned around and made his way to where Mom sat.
And I turned to face my man while Stella took the bouquet from me so Karsten could hold both of my hands.
Our eyes met and we were lost in our world for a few seconds.
This was our moment.
