Mr. Warner, Your Wife is Running Away Again!-Chapter 809: Do You Guys Have Big Boobs?
Seraphina Vaughn turned to Norman Sutton and said, "Why are you grinning like that? It’s your turn, truth or dare?"
Norman Sutton: "Dare."
Seraphina Vaughn: "Princess carry the first person of the opposite sex to your right."
Norman Sutton turned his head to look at the woman with wine-red hair sitting to his right. Just as everyone was showing an expectant expression, he downed the glass of wine in front of him in one go.
Phoebe King, watching from the side, commented quietly, "What a pity! If it were the first person to his left, he wouldn’t have had to drink that glass."
Norman Sutton glared at her: "Stop babbling!"
Seraphina Vaughn understood and smiled, thinking that tonight she would let this boy, who never says what he means, taste a bit of hardship.
Next round, Norman Sutton "coincidentally" got another "2", even the suit of the card was the same as the last one. At this point, he still thought it was purely coincidental.
This time he chose truth.
Seraphina Vaughn asked, "Is there a girl you like here?"
Norman Sutton frowned, not because he didn’t know how to answer, but because he thought something was off with the card he drew, as if it was specially targeted at him.
His gaze glanced at Lana Holloway, and without hesitation, he answered, "Yes."
Everyone wasn’t blind—they could tell from Lana Holloway’s evasive gaze that there was a story between these two.
When Norman Sutton drew cards the third time, he again saw that "2". He glanced at Seraphina Vaughn, who had been shuffling all along, thinking that even if it was coincidental, how could the suit be the same?
"Someone else shuffle the cards! I suspect you’re cheating! Damn it, I got another ’2’!"
Seraphina Vaughn: "Just because your luck’s bad, don’t talk nonsense. The Vaughn Family owns a casino, reputation matters to us. You can’t just say I’m cheating lightly!"
Seeing Seraphina Vaughn’s righteous appearance, Norman Sutton thought she didn’t seem to be lying and admitted defeat: "Truth!"
Seraphina Vaughn handed him the stack of truth cards, and after carefully selecting, Norman Sutton drew one.
The wine-red-haired lady sitting near him leaned over to see the content on his card and laughed as she read it out: "Can you accept girls with a flat chest?"
Norman Sutton glanced at Lana Holloway sitting on his left, then answered, "Yes."
Everyone burst into laughter, while Lana Holloway lowered her head in shame and couldn’t wait to hide under the table.
Norman Sutton thought he was being a hero and said, "What’s so funny? Do any of you have large breasts?!"
Lana Holloway couldn’t help but quietly scold him: "Stop talking!"
Seraphina Vaughn quickly tried to ease the situation: "Let’s continue, let’s continue, draw cards, draw cards."
Norman Sutton: "No way, I’m shuffling!"
"Alright, alright, you shuffle yourself."
Norman Sutton, not trusting anyone else, shuffled the cards thoroughly several times. When he drew again, he got a "10", not big, not small, but at least not a "2".
This made him even more suspicious that Seraphina Vaughn had been up to something earlier.
Just as Norman Sutton breathed a sigh of relief thinking this round wouldn’t involve him, a pair of cards revealed that all those drawn were colorful while his was the only number card. 𝗳𝚛𝗲𝕖𝚠𝚎𝚋𝗻𝗼𝕧𝗲𝐥.𝚌𝚘𝐦
Unable to hold back, he muttered a curse: "Shit."
Seraphina Vaughn, full of schadenfreude, laughed and said: "See? It’s not about me now, it’s just your bad luck! Come on, draw a card, what are we playing?"
Norman Sutton drew a card from the dare pile, opened it to see the content, hesitated for a moment, then without a word, picked up the newly refilled glass and drank it all in one go.
Seraphina Vaughn curiously asked, "What is it? What does it say?"
The wine-red-haired girl picked up the card, hidden on the table, and laughed as she read it: "Measure the chest circumference of the first person of the opposite sex to your right with your arm."
Upon hearing this, Lana Holloway’s thoughts were still wandering. Suddenly, her eyes froze, not daring to look around, her face was bright red as she kept her head down.
Barry Barrett laughed while lightly nudging Lana Holloway with his elbow, knowingly asking, "Does he have a thing for you? Is there something going on between you two?"
Lana Holloway hurriedly denied: "They’re just stirring things up, he’s just doing it for fun."
Barry Barrett: "Is that so?"
During the pause for Seraphina Vaughn to shuffle for the next round, the brown-haired girl sitting beside Faye Xavier glanced at Julian Bishop, who was sitting alone by the tent looking at his phone. She asked Faye Xavier, "He’s your friend too? Why not invite him over to play?"
Faye Xavier bluntly said, "You fancy him, don’t you? Honestly, you have good taste, but he’s not easy to woo. I’ll ask him to come over, whether you can attract him or not depends on your skills."
Then Faye Xavier got up and walked towards Julian Bishop: "Hey Mr. Bishop, come and join the game?"
Julian Bishop glanced at Faye Xavier with a gentle smile and politely declined: "You all play, I still have some material to go through."
Faye Xavier looked over at Shane Warner, who was busy comforting his child, and whispered: "The boss isn’t in a rush, why are you? It’s okay to take a little break when playing, isn’t it? It’s rare for you to come out with us, come have a few drinks, come on."
Faye Xavier directly went to pull him, and feeling that pushing back and forth didn’t look good, Julian Bishop reluctantly put away his phone and followed Faye Xavier.
Faye Xavier gave up her previous seat, letting Julian Bishop sit next to the brown-haired girl, while she placed another chair on Julian Bishop’s other side and sat down.
Seraphina Vaughn, seeing Julian Bishop coming over, continued shuffling her cards while calculating silently.
She had noticed this man long ago; all the way he seemed extremely reserved, which made Seraphina Vaughn eager to tear off his exterior mask and see his darker side.
"Come on, draw a card."
Unexpectedly, Julian Bishop got caught in this round.
Faye Xavier teased with a laugh: "Mr. Bishop, your luck is really something, caught as soon as you joined."
Julian Bishop just smiled lightly, and Seraphina Vaughn placed the game cards in front of him: "Choose, truth or dare."
Julian Bishop hesitated for a moment, before reaching out to draw from the truth pile. Sitting next to him, Faye Xavier looked at his card and read the question: "When and where was your first kiss, and with whom?"
Seraphina Vaughn watched Julian Bishop with a theatrical expression, eager to peel off the mask of this seemingly proper man.
Julian Bishop seemed surprised at the sensitivity of the question, hesitated before casually answering: "I haven’t had my first kiss."
At least half of the people at the table showed expressions of surprise, and Faye Xavier asked incredulously: "Honestly, Mr. Bishop? You’re in your thirties, this isn’t the kind of thing you can lie about; lying could bring misfortune for life."
Julian Bishop steadily nodded, affirming that his previous words were no lie, though Seraphina Vaughn wasn’t quite convinced. After all, she herself at this age hadn’t kissed anyone either...
