Clarissa Morgan glanced at Seraphina Vaughn, probably because someone was nearby, and didn’t provoke Audrey too much, she smiled lightly and said, "I’m very interested in you too, sister! I heard your comic is being adapted into a film, really happy for you—such achievements at such a young age."

Audrey returned the fake smile: "Sister Clarissa flatters me."

She secretly thought that Clarissa had been paying more attention to her than she had imagined, even knowing the details of her work.

"The weather’s been nice lately. They’ve built a new golf course in West City. Maybe we should all go there together sometime?"

Audrey politely declined: "Thank you for the invite, Sister Clarissa, but I’m not interested in golf."

To be precise, Audrey isn’t interested in sports at all—and mostly, she just didn’t want to go with Clarissa Morgan.

"Really? Shane seems to like golf quite a bit. He plays well—I’ve played with him a few times in school, and when I partnered with him, I never lost." Clarissa’s tone, with a smile, carried obvious bragging.

Audrey Sutton realized this moment was the first time she learned Shane Warner could play golf.
