Chapter 264: Flashback - 4

Theron got shy after hearing this and was looking around again.

"I am not shy or anything, I just don’t know what to say, that’s all."

Even though Theron says that, in reality, he was indeed the introverted type who easily gets shy in front of everyone.

"Okay," they showed Silas the bedchamber where he was going to stay, and it was a big and luxurious room.

And after showing him his room, they both left from there so that Silas could rest—after all, he had come from a long journey.

But Silas didn’t want to rest yet, because their pack was different from his pack. In this pack, there was white snow laid out on the land, making it beautiful.

When Silas came out from the carriage, he was mesmerized by the beauty of the snow and the palace.

But he didn’t show it since Damon and Theron were there. But since they left him in his room, he was planning to go around and see the view.

He came out from his room. His guards were waiting for him outside. Of course, they couldn’t leave him alone.

"Your Highness, do you want to go somewhere?"

"Yes, I want to look around. Let’s go."

They both came out from the palace into the yard. It was so beautiful there.

Silas squatted down and touched the snow. He felt so nice after touching it. But just then, he heard...

"Who are you and what are you doing here?"

He glanced back and quickly stood up. There was some unknown person standing in front of him, and his guards quickly stood in front of him to protect him. Even though the person standing in front of him was an omega.

"I asked, who are you?" he asked.

"My name is Silas, and why are you shouting? I know I’m a guest here, but that doesn’t give you any right to shout at me."

That omega’s expression changed hearing Silas’s name, and he stepped forward.

"I’m sorry for shouting at you. My name is Ken, by the way."

And he was those four brothers’ cousin.

Ken quickly held Silas’s hand, and his guard was about to push Ken, but Silas told him to move aside with his eyes—and he did, too. Silas smiled while looking at Ken.

"Silas, why don’t we sit down and have some tea?" Ken asked.

Silas nodded and sat on the chair. Within five minutes, servants came there with snacks, pastries, and tea, and placed it in front of them on the table. Ken served the tea to Silas and also handed him some pastries.

"By the way, I’m the cousin of those four princes. I’ve heard a lot about you. When they came back from the ceremony, they were only talking about you."

"What? They talked about me? What did they tell you about me, by the way?" Silas asked.

It was a surprise for him. Silas didn’t expect that. Those four had talked about him when they came back. Silas thought they were not interested in him.

Since they asked him in the Lotus Manor why he ditched the guards, Silas had many thoughts at that time. That’s why he left from there.

But when he heard that they had sent him the invitation, he quickly came here.

Of course, even if they met for the first time only a few weeks ago, still—they were looking so handsome that Silas couldn’t stop himself from having a crush on them.

"Let me remember, they said they met a beautiful omega. And he was looking like a fairy, his voice was so beautiful. You know, I think my four brothers really have an interest in you."

"No, I don’t think so. Don’t say anything."

Silas started to blush. Hearing that, his whole face was becoming red like a tomato.

And his heart was also beating so fast. Just hearing that they had told their cousin about Silas—how beautiful he was, his voice, and knowing that they were interested—it was something Silas didn’t expect, but it gave him a lot of happiness too.

"Well, don’t tell them, but yeah, the four look kinda handsome."

Silas said while blushing, his eyes looking down, but there was a light in his eyes and a smile on his lips as he looked around.

And just then, he stretched his hand and grabbed the cup of tea.

As he held the cup in both hands, it looked beautiful in his beautiful hands. He brought the cup near his lips and took a sip of the tea.

Even Ken gulped seeing that. And after taking a sip, Silas wiped his lips with his index finger, then put down the cup and smiled at Ken.

"What happened, Ken? Why are you looking at me like this? Am I looking okay? Or is there something on my face?"

Silas started to touch his face to see if there was something or not.

"No, there’s nothing on your face. I was just looking because you’re looking very beautiful."

"Don’t start again, please, Ken," Kael said from behind.

Hearing that voice, Silas immediately knew whose voice it was, and his heart skipped a beat as he saw Kael coming from behind Ken.

As Kael came through, he sat down beside Silas and crossed his legs while looking at his face. Then, he looked away with a smile on his lips, because he was happy just looking at Silas.

"Kael, what are you doing here? Don’t you have any work? Today is Lysander’s birthday party. Don’t tell me you’re slacking off from work," Ken asked.

"Hey, what are you doing here? Isn’t Lysander also your cousin? Go and help him, then. Don’t stay here with my guest."

Ken understood that Kael wanted to spend time alone with Silas, so he stood up.

"Silas, I’ll have to leave now. I have some work. Let’s meet later," he said, then left from there.

And now only Silas and Kael were there, and it was awkward because no one was saying anything. But then Kael spoke, even though he was also nervous.

"You didn’t have any problem while coming here, right?"

Silas flinched at the sudden question and looked at Kael.

"Not at all."
