A large lightning ball immediately materialised in front of him, its size rapidly swelling as blur electricity ferociously crackled around it.

In a split second, the giant lightning ball blasted towards the incoming spike, closing in on them almost immediately.

The moment the two attacks met in the air, the water spikes rapidly disintegrated into mist, vanishing into thin air.

In the next second, the lightning ball struck the water stream rapidly gathering in the air, instantly going off in a powerful explosion of lightning.

The electricity from the explosion speedily coursed around the stream, drying it up within seconds.

A series of gasps echoed around the hall, as the audience watched what just happened in shock.

"W-what..." Trent mumbled, his hands trembling slightly in shock.

Although the reality was right in front of him, he still found it hard to believe, that Harry just obliterated his attack was a single spell,

Never in his life had he seen something like this, it didn’t make any sense!

However, Harry didn’t give him enough time to think about what just happened before dashing towards him again.

Trent gnashed his teeth in frustration, swiftly shooting three of his tentacles at Harry, in a bid to defend himself.

Swoosh!

However, Harry easily escaped them by moving to the side, causing the water tendrils to fly past him instead.

"Wind Slash." He muttered, stretching his hand forwards.

Swoosh!!

Three wind slashed swiftly materialised in front of him, shooting towards Trent at rapid speed.

"Shit." Trent mumbled, gnashing his teeth as he hurriedly casted another spell.

"Gale Burst!" He shouted, thrusting his palm forward.

BWOOSH!!!

A powerful blast of wind suddenly surged towards the incoming wind blades, closing in on them within a second.

But, rather than the wind blast deflecting the attacks, the wind slashed simply tore through them, hurtling towards Trent instead.

Spurt!

The Elementalist’s eyes widened in shock, however, he couldn’t even react, as the attacks closed in on him.

Swiishh!!

Two of the slashes flew towards the tentacles still hovering around him, effortlessly slicing them into two.

Spurt!

As for the last one, it struck him directly on his chest, leaving a deep dash which ran across his torso.

"Argh!" Trent shouted in pain, as his body stumbled backwards due to the force.

"N-no... no!!" He shouted, blood rapidly gushing out of the cut.

The reason he had used a wind spell despite how difficult it was to cast, was to knock back the wind slashes and then attack Harry directly.

Although he currently had eight tentacles, he could only control up to four at once, and even doing that was quite difficult for him.

However, since he hadn’t retracted the three he sent beforehand, he could only control one more to defend himself, which wouldn’t be enough.

Nonetheless, his efforts were pointless at the end of the day, as he wasn’t even able to push back the wind slashes.

"I won’t—!"

Swoosh!

His words were immediately cut short, when Harry swiftly appeared beside him, with a small gust of wind.

"That’s enough shouting, from you." Harry said, swinging his fist towards Trent.

"Shut up!" Trent shouted in annoyance, thrusting his palm towards his opponent.

’If I cast a spell at point blank range, there’s no way he wouid escape! I go you now!!’ He thought, hurriedly casting his spell.

"Water Blast!" Hr shouted, with a smug smile on his face.

Fwoosh!!

Water rapidly gathered in front of his palm, before blasting towards Harry with immense force.

But just as the water was about to shoot out, Harry swiftly pushed Trent’s arm to the side, causing the blast to fly past him instead.

"Lightning Stun." He mumbled, swiftly swinging an uppercut towards Trent.

Blitz!!

Thwack!

Lightning rapidly sparked around his fingers, coating them in a thin layer of electricity as his fists connected sweetly with the Elementalist’s chin.

"Argh!!" Trent grunted in pain, feeling the full brunt of the punch against his chin.

The lightning sparks painfully coursed through his head, causing his body to freeze from the electrocution.

His body was instantly sent flying by the punch, bouncing on the ground a few times before sliding to a halt.

The water flowing around his body rapidly disintegrated into thin air, and blood kept gushing out of the cut on his chest.

’Damn it... I lost...’ He mumbled inwardly, his eyes turning white as he finally lost consciousness.

He would have loved to heal himself and get back into the fight, but he was completely exhausted.

His mana reserves had totally dried up, leaving him with a nasty headache which only worsened when Harry punched him.

He had been pushing himself too hard throughout the fight, and the consequences had finally caught up to him.

Meanwhile, Harry’s lips curled into a slight smirk as he stared at the notification flashing across his eyes.

Back then, he didn’t push Trent’s hand, he made sure to steal a huge chunk of his mana also.

Since Trent’s blessing was still active at the time, the mana flowing around his arm was quite much, which led to Harry racking a huge amount of EXP.

The commentator abruptly announced, and the hall went up in a loud round of shouts and cheers.

Most of them hadn’t expected Harry to win, especially by such a large margin.

Although he had been outstanding throughout the event, they still didn’t expect that he would beat Trent.

After all, Trent had also been displaying a massive amount of power since the beginning of the competition.

Nonetheless, the reality was right in front of them, and it was further confirmed by the instructor who dashed onto the stage in a bid to heal the wounded Elementalist.
