A weird glint flashed across his eyes, however, he didn’t plan on running away. He already had a plan on how to deal with the mana beast, the only problem he was posed with would be reacting to its insane speed burst.

With resolve etched into his every move, Harry seized the moment, mentally commanding the lightning whip to spring into action.

All of this were sure to take a small toll on his reserves, however, he still felt a little disheartened, seeing that huge minus from his energy.

Harry swiftly deactivated [Wind steps], keeping only [Accelerate] and [Lightning Dash] active.

’I need to conserve my energy from this point.’ He thought, as he dashed towards the large brown creature once more.

The beast growled in agony, as it kept trashing its head around, in hopes of freeing itself from the lightning whip coiled tightly around its neck.

Harry wasn’t too bothered about the whip, or the beast freeing itself from it. With the energy he had harnessed into it, the attack was sure to hold for a few seconds at least, and that was more than enough time for him to finish it off.

’Wind needles!!’ Harry thought, stretching one of his hands towards the beast.

Immediately, six needles formed out of the air in front of him, before shooting towards the mana beast at rapid speed.

While in the air, the needles swiftly split up into two equal groups of three, with each heading for the beast’s eyes.

Within a split seconds, the closed in on the beast, piercing deep into its eyes.

Growl!!

The mana beast growled in agony, as blood spurted out of its eyes. Its vision darkened immediately, and all it could see was the dark red liquid flowing down its eyes.

’Earth Hold!’ Harry thought, boosting the skill’s power by harnessing some of his energy into it.

Instantly, four, large lumps of earth rose up from beneath the beast’s feet, before clamping tightly around its limbs.

Roar!

The beast roared to the skies in frustration, when it realized that it couldn’t move its feet.

It kept trashing its body in hopes of freeing itself from whatever was binding it to the ground, however, despite its efforts, the thick lumps of earth didn’t budge in the slightest.

The lightning whip coiled around its neck suddenly dig deeper at that moment, causing more painful shocks to course through its head.

The beast growled in agony, its limbs still trying hard to break free from the ground.

’Now killing it would be a lot easier.’ Harry thought with a slight smirk on his face.

He had already enhanced their power even further, and breaking free from them was no easy feat, even for a beast as strong as it.

Even though it had already activated its trait, it was all pointless, as it would still be more or less a sitting duck for Harry’s attacks.

A system notification flashed across his eyes, but he ignored it once more.

The wind slash sliced through the air at astonishing speed, closing in on the neck of the beast within seconds.

Just before the attack make contact with the large, brown creature, the ethereal blue lightning whip, which had coiled itself tightly around its massive neck, suddenly disintegrated into a cascade of shimmering sparks.

As the whip dissolved, the wind slash bore down on the mana beast’s exposed neck with great force, instantly cutting deep into its flesh.

Roar!!

The sheer impact from the hit sent slight shockwaves coursing through the beast’s thick neck, and the creature roared loudly in response.

Its massive body staggered backwards, and a thick, dark red liquid oozed from the deep cut on its neck, a few drops dripping to the ground.

It would have already dropped to the ground, however, due to the thick lumps of rocks that were binding its feet, its body only wobbled above the ground, but its limbs remained stuck.

Harry didn’t relent in his attacks even, swiftly launching three more slashes of wind towards the beast, each one aimed directly at the deep cut on its neck.

The attacks sliced through the air at rapid speed, closing in on the mana beast in the blink of an eye.

The first two slashes struck the cut at the neck of the beast, driving deeper into the wound and causing a fresh gush of blood to spurt out.

However, just as the last attack was about to hit, the mana beast suddenly moved its head to the side.

As a result of the creature’s swift dodge, the third slash missed the injury by a hairbreadth, hitting another area of its neck, and cutting deep into its flesh.

The mana beast roared in frustration, its anger already reaching the peak from the incessant attacks that had been rained on it.
