Love Command: Darling, Do You Yield?-Chapter 72 - 73 She Went to Obstetrics and Gynecology 2
Chapter 72: Chapter 73 She Went to Obstetrics and Gynecology 2
Mrs. Harris returned shortly.
Upon returning, her face carried a somewhat serious expression.
"Mom, what’s wrong?"
"I must say, Iris Harris is really lucky to encounter such a rare chance!"
"Is she really pregnant?"
Viola Harris was eating an apple, and upon hearing her mother’s words, she widened her eyes in shock. The partially eaten apple fell to the ground and was kicked under the bed by her!
"Yes." Mrs. Harris frowned deeply, "It’s unbelievable, truly unbelievable, that she’s so lucky! And she’s already two months along..."
"..."
Viola bit her lip, sitting silently on the bed. After a while, she raised her head to look at her mother: "Mom, what should I do now?"
Mrs. Harris had always been the strategist in Viola’s relationship with Brandan. Naturally, Viola relied on her heavily now.
Mrs. Harris walked over and sat by the bed, saying, "Don’t worry. She’s been separated from Brandan recently, so it’s unlikely their relationship is that strong. Do you think Brandan would accept Iris being pregnant?"
Viola was momentarily stunned, then seemed to realize something and blinked a few times: "Mom, you mean..."
"Let Brandan deal with it himself."
Mrs. Harris’s narrow eyes revealed a sinister smile, "I fear Iris wouldn’t dare let Brandan know she’s pregnant! When Brandan finds out, even if she wants to keep the child, it won’t be up to her!"
"But, Mom, what if Brandan also wants the child..." A layer of worry surfaced in Viola’s heart.
Mrs. Harris looked at her with a smile, placing a hand on Viola’s lower abdomen, "Then how could he be fair to you?"
Viola blinked, gradually understanding her mother’s intention.
Five years ago, she "saved" Brandan Hyde, losing an ovary, which might lead to lifelong infertility. It was through this opportunity that she officially got together with Brandan.
The reason Brandan is with her, more likely than not, includes an element of gratitude.
Now that Iris is pregnant, regardless of his feelings for Viola, even for her sake, he absolutely can’t keep that child.
"Moreover, if he forces Iris to abort the child, they’ll never have children in their lifetime." Mrs. Harris smiled slightly, "Where in the world are there so many miracles? If there’s one, there will definitely not be a second. By then, you’ll have no worries at all."
Iris was never supposed to be able to get pregnant, and now she is with child. What else could it be but a miracle?
Upon hearing this, Viola couldn’t help but smile with joy, "Mom, you’ve really thought this through! So should I go tell Brandan now that Iris is pregnant?"
Mrs. Harris shook her head, saying, "No rush. Wait a few days before telling him. Let’s first observe Iris’s reaction to see if she dares to tell Brandan. If she doesn’t, it shows that Brandan doesn’t want the child. By that time, it won’t be too late for us to act."
The more Viola listened, the more she appreciated the cleverness of the plan, and she couldn’t help nodding, "Alright, I’ll do as you say, Mom."
Mrs. Harris looked lovingly at her child and smiled, "As long as you’re happy, Viola."
