Legendary Architect of Apocalypse-Chapter 207: Cutting through the heaven
What made Helen even happier was the kind of control Kaelen had displayed with the flames. From what she knew about those flames, it was impossible to gain such a level of control without at least half a year's worth of training.
The boy had gained this control within just a few weeks after gaining the flames, which meant his compatibility with the flames was even higher than previously assumed.
"Those flames..." Elten mumbled, feeling the aura of those flames, even though he was far away from them.
The flames were strong, but he could easily suppress them with his strength, even if they were the innate enemies of his essence of death.
The thing that truly made him frown was that this was just the boy's strength when he had gained these flames. If he progressed like this, then within a few decades, the flames could grow stronger to the point that even he wouldn't be able to suppress them.
"Congratulations on gaining a talented student." He congratulated Helen with a false smile on his lips. "I really hope he can live long enough for me to witness the true glory of those flames"
"Same. The previous dean died such a long time ago, that even I never saw the true strength of these flames." Helen laughed heartily, not finding anything wrong with Elten's words. "This is truly a great blessing for the Academy, and the entire Creator Faction."
"Indeed a blessing," Elten mumbled, as he closed his eyes. There was no surprise left anymore. He could already see what was going to happen next.
Now that the formation was broken, and someone with these flames had appeared, it was almost impossible for the Destroyer Faction to win.
At best, it was going to be a complete defeat of the Destroyer Faction, with the survivors being captured alive. At worst, it was going to be a complete slaughter like the one his Elder Brother had caused when he annihilated his entire class.
The battle grew even more intense after the formation broke. There were constant loud explosions, as each side attacked the other with everything they had.
For the next thirty minutes, it was as if the world itself was falling apart, with constant earthquakes. The show around thousands of miles had evaporated, with only the area near the merger storm being left intact.
Earthquakes were felt all around the earth, and many houses and tall towers came crumbling down. It was as if a second apocalypse had struck earth, trying to take whatever was left in this world.
The person who achieved the most throughout this test, was Elias, who kept killing. His flames burned everything that came before me, irrespective of their strength.
It didn't matter if they were rich or poor. It didn't matter if they were from Great Families or just commoners. It didn't matter if they were rankers, or just weaker ones from the Destroyer Faction.
He kept erasing the people from the Destroyer Faction now that he had no reason to hide his flames. Even those that were on the verge of being killed by other creator rankers, were killed by his flames.
His actions did offend the Creator Faction's had Rankers, but none could blame him. He had freed them and turned the tide after all. Moreover, he was a future star disciple of the Academy.
He couldn't get any points from killing them, so they didn't see it as him trying to steal the points from them. They just thought it was because he hated them for tying, which led to him revealing his abilities.
Instead of being angry at him for stealing their prey, they thanked him for his help. Everyone was trying to get in good books of Elias, even if they were from the founding families.
If nothing went wrong, he could become the future Dean of the academy after all. He was the only person amongst all the Star Disciples to have the signature ability of the past Dean.
"We haven't offended you. Why are you trying to kill us?!" A child from the Destroyed Faction shrieked, watching his Soul Beast burn to death right before his eyes.
Elias didn't answer the boy. He covered the boy's face with his palm. A blue flame rose from his palms, and shrouded the child, who kept cursing Elias even in his death.
"Kill him first!" The other rankers from the Destroyer Faction stopped attacking the others, and left the fight to their subordinates. They all came for Elias, to kill him faster, as he was a bigger threat.
The Constellations attacked him from every side, with an attack that could erase an entire continent. A loud explosion rose from the place where Elias was standing, the moment these attacks connected.
It was as if a nuclear bomb had fallen on the place, with a thousand miles loud cloud of flames forming in the sky.
The rankers from the Creator Class didn't try to save Elias either. Even though they wanted to maintain a good relationship with a future Star Disciple, it didn't mean that they minded his death.
His life and death didn't matter to them, now that the battlefield had already turned to their favour. If anything, his death was more beneficial as the disciple who shone the brightest in the first year, was going to die.

Still, they maintained their act. After the explosion, they all shouted in unison for the Professors to see.
"You demons! How dare you kill Kaelen!"
The Rankers from the Creator Faction attacked the other side's rankers, thinking that they could end the fight once and for all. They had already killed the others from the Destroyer Faction, leaving only five rankers.
"Huh? What's that?" Olsen was about to attack Siera when he froze in place, watching a blue light shine in a dissipating cloud of flames.
"You think you can distract me with that trick?" Siera scoffed at Olsen's childish attempt, but when she noticed everyone else looking behind her, she felt something was wrong.
She also looked back briefly, and saw a sight that left her awestruck.
Behind her, the flames of their explosion had started to gather in a single line, as if the flames were being controlled by someone.
The flames rose as high as they could see, forming a giant sword with a blue streak running between a hundred meter wide sword, which was cutting through the clouds.
Under the sword, there was a twelve year old boy, whose robe was slightly torn. His flames were a deeper shade of blue, burning in the freezing flames.
The boy looked like he had descended straight from heaven with a cleaver to cut through all life.
