Chapter 83: Orcs, The Paladin’s Arrival.

"Darius!"

Theo yelled. He took a step back, looking at the blast. He didn’t know what had done that or how it was even possible for something that fast to pop out of nowhere, and from the looks of things.

Theo was looking around, he was scanning the area, and there was nothing for him to see, but he could feel something odd. It was not clear what, but then he felt something odd, it was almost like....

"We are being watched!"

The warrior pulled out his spear, the spear extended, revealing its terrifying length. Raya unsheathed her blade, looking in the direction from which the blast came. She was alert incase anything else would come out of there, but then she looked back to see if she would see what happened to Darius.

"Is he okay?!"

She was looking at Theo, even though it didn’t look like it, Raya was a bit worried for the white haired warrior.

Theo turned to look in the direction the fireball had sent Darius, he then turned back to the direction they were looking in.

"He is fine, it would take more than that to even make him fall." Theo swung his spear, waiting for the monster or whatever it was that sent that fireball to show itself.

"If anything, we should be ready to face whatever is coming out of that forest."

Theo was calm, which was one reason why Darius had told him to be the Captain instead of him, and his calm nature made it hard for anything to move him in that way.

Raya turned back to the forest, also waiting for whatever it was to show its face.

"We are dead! We are so dead!" The Transponder standing with them was panicking; his entire body was shaking. His face was drenched with sweat as he looked up ahead.

"I knew we should have looked for a way out of this place, but you were crazy enough to keep walking in front. Now, whatever is in there is going to use our skulls as decoration."

A vein can be seen popping up on Theo’s head. He didn’t know what he was dealing with, and he wouldn’t even want to imagine what the Transponder was trying to do.

"Your excessive whining isnt going to help kill the damn monster!"

"My whining? None of you is close to Mythic Rank, and that is the kind of dungeon we are in!" The Transponder was looking at Theo, he was scared to his core, but then he was not going to let anyone make him feel more scared than he was.

"You need to keep calm in situations like this, sir," Raya spoke up. She let out a calm sigh, and what looked like cinders of blue flame came out of her mouth.

"It’s here."

Theo and the transponder turned to the forest, and what seemed to be an eerie wind blew across their face.

Standing in front of them, multiple dark red eyes opened, and all of them stood at what looked like a whopping 8 feet in height.

Theo held his spear close to his chest, his eyes fixed on the beasts, and he was not even sure what he was looking at. "Darius, you better get your ass out here."

The creatures walked out of the forest, revealing around 20 huge orcs, whose faces were covered in paintings, paintings made from blood. Ash covered their dark blue skin, their eyes were the same color as the haunting blood skies, and huge tusks stuck out of their mouth.

Another one walked out of the middle. It was a bit bigger, and for some reason, it looked like the leader was holding a huge, primitive club in its hand. It moved a bit further away from the other Orcs, fixing its gaze on Theo.

It paused when it had gotten to a closer range, then slowly it raised the club, pointing it at Theo. The creature let out a primal roar, shaking the forest even more.

The other Orcs charged at the warriors.

Theo moved forward a bit, swinging his spear, sending a sharp wave of wind that seemed to have pushed the orcs back a bit.

"Tsk!" He was looking at them, and he could see it. They weren’t normal monsters, he looked back, and he couldn’t see Darius coming.

"Transponder!"

"Yes!"

The transponder was looking at Theo. He was not sure what he wanted to tell him, but anything would be better than facing those monsters. He turned and dashed for the place where they had seen Darius land.

"Go and check on Darius, if he is sleeping knock his ass up!" Theo yelled as he turned to Raya.

"C’mon, let’s take this assholes down!"

Raya took a stance holding the blade close to her chest, her eyes on the orcs.

"Let’s make this count!"

Theo and Raya dashed for the orc. They were close to the Orcs when Theo leaped into the air, letting out a scary battle cry as he struck the ground with his spear.

"Zerion’s Rage!"

A powerful shockwave made five of the orcs fall to the floor, and the rest kept charging with more ferocity. Raya, whilst dashing for the orcs, her blade had taken a sharp blue glow, then the entire sword was covered in hot, burning blue flame.

"Sword Dance, Lai cut!" She sent waves of blue flame for the orcs, it was fast and sharp, they didn’t stand a chance to stop it. The wave managed to take down three more Orcs. She had close distance with the other orcs, using their terrifying size as an advantage. She climbed on one of the orcs, slitting its throat as she leaped gracefully for the next one, slitting its throat as well.

Theo was using his spear to send powerful wind bullets. He didn’t know what they were going to do to win against 20 orcs, but whatever would keep them alive for long would be the best option.

They had taken down 8 of the Orcs, standing close to each other, panting heavily, they couldn’t shake off the fact that they were looking at monsters, they didn’t know why they had stopped their charge.

The orc leader was still looking at Theo, and everyone could feel the strong bloodlust coming from the creature. It started making sounds with its mouth, moving closer and closer.

Theo and Raya were in defensive stances, they were looking at the monster walking towards them.

"I don’t like what I am seeing in this one here, he looks scary." Theo’s grip on his spear tightened.

Raya could feel the creature’s intense mana, it was as if it was sending warnings telling them to back off.

"Can’t you feel that intense bloodlust coming from just one beast?" She was holding her blade, looking at the Orc approaching them. "This is not something I would want to face anytime soon."

"Human..."

The Orc spoke, and chills were sent down Raya and Theo’s spines. They didn’t know what they were even looking at anymore.

"Did that thing just talk?!" Theo was shocked; he was looking at the monster, and he could see that something odd was about to happen.

Raya was looking at the beast, and he could feel the soul-piercing aura it was letting out.

"Humans, why are you here? You have trespassed, now you shall die!" The orc yelled as it charged at the duo.

Theo didn’t even wait for the beast to come closer to him; he struck the spear on the floor, raising a huge wall to stop the monster from coming in like that.

The monster hit the wall with his club, shattering it in less than a second of impact. Theo’s fear reached the highest point, before he could even use his spear to protect himself, the Orc grabbed him by the leg, smacking him on the floor before he threw him away, sending him into a rock. Once Theo hit the rock, he was knocked out cold.

Raya was fast on her feet; she used her blade to strike the Orc’s hand, making it feel pain, but it was not the best idea for the moment.

The orc took her into its hand, trying to crush her with its brute strength.

"Ahh," She let out a cry, looking at the orc, she gritted her teeth. "Burn, seventh flame!"

Almost immediately, her body was covered in fire. The orc let her go, but Raya didn’t even get the chance to breathe. The Orc used the club to hit her, sending her back a few feet.

Raya landed on the ground, and she could hear her own bones crack a bit.

The Orc was looking at them, it had taken them down, and it was not even like what it would have wanted.

"Where is the strong one?!" The Orc roared, sending echoes throughout the forest. The other Orcs moved to the warriors, picking them up and placing them in front of the Orc. 𝕗𝚛𝚎𝚎𝐰𝗲𝗯𝗻𝚘𝚟𝚎𝗹.𝕔𝐨𝕞

The orc looked at them, it was disappointed to even see what was in front of him.

"Now you will die!" The Orc raised its club, about to end Theo and Raya’s lives. As it was about to bring it down on them with a powerful speed, something paused it.

The Orc looked up to see a long sword, holding his Club up. He turned to look down to see who or what was holding the sword.

Standing in front of them was a knight wearing a dark crimson armour, and the very ground he was standing on was melting.

The Orc was enraged, looking at the Knight, it took its club back.

"Who are you?!" The Orc asked in anger.

The knight sheathed his blade, looking at the Monster.

"I am Pryion, Paladin Of The Chaotic Flame, first Knight of the Great Dragon Sage and my Liege, Darius Winters."

Pryion moved forward, looking at the Orc. "I will not let you harm my Liege’s friends."
