Legacy Of Fire: Chronicles Of The F-ranked Anomaly-Chapter 84: The Knight And Orcs
A Few Minutes Before Pryion Arrived On The Battlefield...
The Transponder had gone to see what happened to Darius, he got to the place where the warrior had landed.
And he could see him coming out of the dirt, a sigh of relief followed the Transponder’s breath.
"Stupid fireball, coming out of nowhere, trying to kill me." Our young warrior cleaned the dirt off his shirt.
"I don’t know what I thought must have happened to you." He was looking at Darius.
Darius looked up and was about to pounce on whatever it was that sent the fireball to him. It’s time to make sure the being was not going to be coming out alive.
The Transponder was looking at Darius, he had many questions to ask him, looking at the warrior, he saw how he was not even harmed by the fireball.
"How are you alive?"
The Transponder didn’t know when the question came out of his mouth, Darius turned to look at him, and all he could do was smile.
"I don’t know how to explain this, but fire doesn’t harm me."
"Wait, what? Fire doesn’t hurt you? What do you mean by that?"
The Transponder looked at Darius, seeing he was about to take off and head for the others. He knew what they had seen there and what it was going to do to them. He was going to try and stop Darius from going anywhere till they had a plan.
"Wait, Mr. Winters, there are monsters over there and they will...."
He stopped, noticing that Darius seemed to have paused on his tracks.
"Mr. Winters?"
The Transponder went closer to see what was going on with Darius, he went to his front to see that the warrior seemed to be in a calm state.
"Mr. Winters?"
The Transponder was about to touch Darius when a wave of energy came from the body of our young warrior, knocking down the Transponder, calmly knocking him out.

Darius’s body began glowing, our young warrior was not conscious during any of these enhancements.
Suddenly, his body began moving, the bracelet on his right arm began glowing as a spatial portal opened, and Pryion emerged from it.
The knight turned to Darius and bowed his head.
"You summoned me, Lord Darius."
Suddenly, Darius’s eyes moved, and it was glowing bright red. Following it came a deep, powerful voice.
"Darius didn’t call you here."
Pryion lowered his head more. He knew who had the voice, and for him to summon him out meant something was up.
"Lord Azree, I am here."
"Darius is out cold, I want you to make sure his allies are protected until he awakens. It won’t be long now, I know you will be able to handle it." Azree spoke with such authority.
Pryion stood up, he unsheathed Isakador, and bowed his head.
"For allies of my liege are also my allies, and enemies of my liege are also my enemies; anyone who wrongs them shall fall by my blade."
"Very good, now go!" Azree ordered.
The knight turned in the direction from which he was getting the energy reading and dashed for the others.
A protective shield covered Darius and the unconscious Transponder, as Darius’s eyes stopped glowing.
Back To The Present Time...
The Orc was looking at the knight in front of it, raising its club, and it let out a loud, primal roar, shaking the forest again.
Twenty more Orcs came out of the forest. They were fiercer than the ones who had come out earlier, and from the looks of things, they were there to take Pryion down.
The Orc seemed to have a smile on its face, It turned to Pryion.
"I don’t know where you came from, but no one will be able to win the BloodCrang Army. You will fall here!"
Pryion placed Isakador down, he was looking at the Orcs, and he could see their massive features and bloody tusks. Their body covered in ash and blood, from what could be seen, it was clear that these were part of the higher ranks of Orcs.
Pryion let out a small sigh, he stared at the Orc in front of him.
"You might think that you are a powerful opponent, but I want to let you know something." Pryion slowly adjusted his gauntlets.
"None of you are worthy enough to be killed by my blade."
Hearing this, the Orc was enraged, it waved its Club signaling the others to attack.
Ten Orcs charged Pryion at the same time, all of them were fast and fierce, trying to take down the Knight. Pryion looked up, and in what looked like a split second, the Orcs were decapitated.
The Leader Orc was looking at them, he stood in utter shock that there was someone this powerful amongst the warriors.
"You are no human, are you?" The Orc asked looking at Pryion, it stood its ground looking at the knight.
Pryion stood there, he had not moved a spot since the Orcs charged at him. Staring at the Orc, the knight had no urge to even move closer to it.
"I told you what I am, you chose not to pay attention." Pryion spoke slowly, he was looking at the massive Orc, trying not to give it much light.
"Very well, then I will make sure you understand who you are dealing with." The knight took a stance, looking at the Orc waiting for it to make the first move.
The Orc didn’t know what to expect from the Knight in front of it. But backing down was not going to be part of its plan.
Holding its club tightly, the Orc let out a roar, which was more of a taunt. As if it were trying to let the Knight know, it wasn’t going down without a fight.
Pryion tilted his head, seeing that the beast was resorting to baseless cries.
"Do you think that would help you?"
The Orc was looking at Pryion, and the smile on the monster’s face was menacing.
"I know you are powerful, so I will not be facing you alone. Neither will I stand and watch,"
It pointed its club at Pryion, a smile on its face as the forest began rustling. More Orcs came out, and they were all fully bloodlusted.
"Calling more of your kind won’t give you the chance you need to win." Pryion’s fists began burning. He took a stance, looking at the Orc.
"Come to your death."
The Orc, seeing what the knight was doing, smiled a bit. "You think you can face me? I was chosen by the great ones to lead an army."
"You say all that, but what I see is a bag of meat with no brains inside its skull, so stop talking and come to your death."
Pryion had a nasty tone, he noticed the other Orcs not even coming close to their leader, let more of moving. It was a standoff, but then the leader Orc took a step front, looking at the Knight.
"You say all this, but I will bash your head in with my club!" The Orc yelled as it picked up the body of a dead Orc in front of it, raising it over its head. It tore open the dead Orc’s carcass, spilling the blood on its body.
"Oh, Great Monarch Of BloodCrang! I offer you my heart, give me the power to slay those who have set foot in your lands!"
Almost immediately, there was a surge of power covering the Orc in what seemed to be a cocoon. Pryion knew what was happening was not something to sit by and let happen.
He picked up Isakador and dashed for the Orc, wasting no time. Pryion sliced through the cocoon. Not even giving the Orc a chance to reach the level of power it wanted to.
"Absolutely disgusting, you failed to fight me, then you try to borrow power to win? You are nothing but a waste." Pryion looked up, seeing the Orcs standing there, he wasted no time in attacking, taking down each Orc one by one.
But then the cocoon he had cut open was still glowing like there was something inside about to come out. The glow from the cocoon got too intense, it was beginning to let out a powerful wave of mana.
Pryion paused when he felt something ominous coming from behind, he turned to see the cocoon.
"You live, what an unprecedented turn of events."
The Orc burst through the cocoon, its eyes seemed to be hollowed out, and thick black veins were bulging on its entire body. It reached out for its club; once its hands touched the club, it was covered in the same aura as the orc.
"You....die here!" The Orc roared, letting out a massive surge of energy, making the remaining Orcs cower in fear.
The energy was fierce, but it wasn’t enough to move Pryion. The knight was looking at the Orc, he wasn’t giving that bored vibe. He unsheathed Isakador, releasing the energy within the blade.
"I will enjoy putting you down."
