Legacy Of Fire: Chronicles Of The F-ranked Anomaly-Chapter 82: Plots
The moment the wave of mana had hit the warriors, it sent Nathan Cruz and the warriors standing with him to another side, a bit far from Darius.
When he got his balance, he looked around and saw that they were in a different region than he expected. Nathan looked around, he was expecting to see something a bit normal for an S-ranked dungeon, but then.
"What in the world is this?" Nathan looked around, and he was trying to figure out what it was he was doing there. "This doesn’t feel like any S-ranked dungeon."
Michael Krigg stood up from where he had landed. He looked around, and he couldn’t see anything for like a mile, and it was a bit confusing.
"What was that?" He looked around, he spotted the Transponder on the floor. From the looks of it, he was covered with bruises. He walked closer to him, and without a second thought, he started healing him.
"That wave, it was what sent us here, right?" He said as he turned to Nathan, who seemed to be looking for the members of his guild.
"Yes," He replied, his eyes still darting around like a predator looking for its next meal.
"Whatever it was, it separated us from my guild and the others." Nathan didn’t sound happy, he kept trying to see if he was going to get a sign of where his guild had been hit.
He turned to see Michael Krigg still healing the man, and he could see why he was called one of the best healers out of all others.
"You have powerful skills, Mr. Krigg." He complimented as he walked close to the Transponder to see if he was going to be able to help them out by telling them what had happened and why they were there.
The Transponder sat up, he was looking around, trying to understand what had happened.
"Now, please tell me you know what happened and why we are here?" Nathan spoke up, his voice was laced with a hint of distaste and frustration. "I don’t remember this being like any S-ranked dungeon I have been to."
The Transponder was still looking around, then he looked down at the device in his hand. His eyes widened, clearly it was seen that his breathing increased.
"If it doesn’t feel like an S-ranked dungeon, because it isn’t one!"
Nathan and Michael were looking at the man, and they were a bit surprised. What was he talking about?
"This is an S-ranked; the association picked this out for us, and we had to come here with two guilds." Michael was looking at the Transponder, and he couldn’t even think straight.
Nathan was still quiet, he couldn’t shake off the fact that something like this had happened the last time he went on a raid with Theo and Darius.
"So what are you saying?" He spoke up as he walked close to the Transponder.
"What kind of Dungeon are we standing in, then? If this isn’t an S-ranked, then what is it?" He was looking at the man; he couldn’t tell what was going through his mind at the moment, but they knew it was something that would hurt them.
The Transponder was looking at the device in his hand, and almost immediately.
"This is an uncharted dungeon, and from what I am seeing here, it has ten times the readings of all the other uncharted dungeons that had appeared in the last few months."
Michael was shocked to hear that the dungeon had changed into an uncharted. But then his reaction could say otherwise, a smile slowly unfolded on his face.
"So does this mean that we are going to be running into stronger monsters here?" He asked, the question was not even one that either of the two would have tried to see.
"Mr. Krigg, I know you must think that there is something in here you would love to fight, but I would advise you not to think of it that way."
The Transponder was looking at him, the worried look on his face was clear enough to make anyone uneasy.
"This dungeon might have one of the strongest monsters you can imagine, even if we have three SS-ranks with us, there is still no guarantee that we would make it out of here alive."
Nathan, confused when he heard three SS-ranks, began counting inside his head. He knew Theo was an S-rank and Raya was an SS-rank, while Darius was an F-ranked with them. He was trying to find out who the third SS-ranked was.
"Did you hit your head?" He blurted out, causing Michael and the transponder to turn to him.
"There are two SS-ranks with us, and that is Raya Tegeshi and Michael Krigg. So who is the third one and where on earth did he fall out from?" He was looking at the Transponder, trying to see if he was going to get an answer.
The Transponder looked at a piece of paper he pulled out of his pocket. he blew off some dust that was on it, and he looked at the paper.
"Mr. Cruz, there are in fact three SS-ranks here with us." He looked at Nathan, he could see the confused look on his face, and there was no other way to clear it up than to say that he didn’t know.
"Who is the third SS-ranked?" Nathan knew who it was, but he didn’t want to push himself to believe that someone they had seen his rank as an F-rank would be able to get that powerful.
The Transponder looked down, he then slowly looked up to Nathan.
"It’s Darius Winters..."
It was like the life had gone out of Nathan’s body, he didn’t know how, but he knew something. If Darius were an SS-ranked, then it would mean trouble for him.
’How on earth did he become an SS-ranked?! This has to be a joke, right?’
He was looking at Michael and the Transponder, and he could tell that there was going to be no way for him to shake off anything like that.
"This is going to be a problem for me and my guild,’ He clenched his fists. ’I need to find my guild members, then I would think of a way to bury Theo Sung and his friend inside this dungeon!’
Nathan picked up his mace, placing it on his shoulder. He looked around, trying to see if he would find anything that would lead him to the others.
"So, how do we find the others?" He looked at the Transponder, trying to see what they would be able to.
The man had nothing on his mind, he was as confused as they were.
"I think we...."
Boom!!!
They were startled by a massive explosion. Looking up, they could see where it came from. The waves from the explosion carried leaves and debris with them.
"They are over there!" Michael smiled as he dashed for them. Nathan was still looking in that direction, a bit nonchalant about the whole thing.
’He just had to be this energetic for a healer? No worries, I will use you to my advantage.’ Nathan followed Michael, and the Transponder followed the healer as he dashed for the explosion.

Darius and the other three were trying to head for the boss, but it was not like anything they had expected to see.
"Do you have any idea of what we are going to be facing there?!" Raya was rushing towards the boss’s side.
Darius had a smile on his face, he was going to be dealing with something huge. 𝕗𝕣𝐞𝐞𝘄𝐞𝚋𝚗𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗹.𝚌𝕠𝚖
"I don’t know what we are going to meet, but I am sure that there is no way we are going to let it walk away."
Darius kept going front, and Theo was looking at him with a worried look on his face.
"I don’t know what I am going to do with you, there is no way for me to even tell what you do."
"Don’t worry, Theo, I am going to make sure that nothing is going to let us get harmed." Darius was looking ahead, trying to find out what the problem was or what it would be that they would be facing.
Raya was looking at Darius, she could see the way he was trying to find the boss. She couldn’t even tell what it was that would make him want to go for the boss like that.
"Why are you so eager to face the boss? There has to be something on your mind?!" She was looking at him.
Darius turned back, he had a smile on his face.
"Nothing really, I just want to see if there is a way for me to take down the beast, nothing more."
Raya, Theo, and the Transponder were shocked to even hear that he was only there for the thrill of it.
"He has to be joking, right?" The Transponder turned to look at Theo, who was scratching his head.
"It has to be his redeeming quality." Theo smiled as he turned, he looked up and noticed that there was something strange coming.
He looked properly and he saw it was a fireball, coming at a fierce speed.
"Darius, look out!" Theo yelled, but before Darius could dodge the fireball hit him.
