It All Started With Hatred-Chapter 63: You can’t stop what is going to happen

The guests became quiet and everyone’s gaze focused on the stairs watching as the head of Wilson’s family and the king of the underground world’s powerful presence filled the room.

Ethan walked towards his mother and placed a kiss on her forehead Before he whispered something in her ear.

"There has been an accident, You should go and check." Ethan said before he pulled away and walked towards the guests not wanting them to notice that something was going.

"Mr. Ethan, You finally decided to show up. We thought that you didn’t want to meet your guests." One of the male guests said.

"Of course, Not, I just had an urgent meeting that I needed to attend." Ethan replied keeping his of face expressions.

"Haha, You’re a busy man and we appreciate that you made time to meet us." The man added and Ethan only nodded his head in response.

After greeting all the guests, Ethan finally had the time to breathe some fresh air as he stepped outside the mansion with a cup of wine in his hands.

Upstairs, Lana became worried when she heard what Ethan said. At first, she thought that he had hurt Patel again but when she heard what Nanny told she was shocked but glad at the same time.

"Is she going to be alright my lady?" Nanny was worried about the girl who hadn’t woken up until now.

Lana, who was examining Patel, Sighed in relief. There wasn’t any severe hit, Only the wound on the side of her head that Ethan had already treated.

"Yes, She will be, She just lost a huge amount of blood that’s why she will need time to wake up." Lana replied as she stared at Patel.

She hoped that this accident didn’t cause damage to the implant cochlear surgery that she did.

"Help me to get her dressed." Lana said walking towards Patel’s wardrobe and picked up some cotton pajamas.

Walking back towards the bed, Lana placed the pajamas on the bed.

"First, Help me sit here." Lana said to Nanny and both gently sat her up.

Lana was about to dress her in the pajama top but she stopped when she noticed a scar on Patel’s back, Pulling the towel that was wrapped around her lower body. She was horrified by the sight of the long scar on her back.

"Who could have done something like this to her?" Nanny asked, shocked by the sight of the scar.

Lana felt her heartache for the young girl, She had a very difficult life.

After dressing her, Made a call to the underground hospital to send a stretcher and two medics to transform Patel and get her examined.

An underground hospital is a place that Ethan’s father had established for any emergency cases. In case any attack happened, They are a Mafia family so they could be targeted at any time. It’s a completely new technical hospital. There they have the newest medical machines that some hospitals still don’t possess.

"Nanny, Don’t tell Patel that Ethan was the one who helped her, Understood." Lana ordered the maid and she nodded her head.

Making her way towards the underground hospital, Lana entered and found the doctors had already started to examine Patel.

"My lady, We came as soon as we received your call. The examination process will take about an hour." One of the doctors said,

Back at the banquet, Alison noticed her mother’s sudden disappearance. She looked for her everywhere but she couldn’t find her.

"Did you see Mom?." Issac asked, looking for her.

"No, I was looking for her too." Alison replied.

"Maybe she is checking on Patel." Issac said as he looked at his brother who was standing outside the mansion drinking, As always.

Two hours later, Most of the guests had left, Lana informed the rest of the family about the accident that happened to Patel after she made sure that she was completely fine and that there weren’t any internal injuries and was taken back to her room.

"How did this happen?" Alison asked worriedly.

"She slipped and hit her head, But she is fine now and already woke up." Lana replied and noticed the worried look on Noah’s face.

It seemed that he started to have feelings for her. She didn’t know if she should be happy or worried about this development.

"I will go and see her." Alice said as she stood up."Come on, Noah what are you waiting for." She added dragging him with her.

"Did Ethan leave?" Lana asked her son Isaac.

"Yes, He said that he is tried and wants to end the night early." Isaac replied."It was Ethan who helped Patel, Isn’t he?" Isaac Inquired.

"Yes, But I hope that you keep this a secret, Even from Noah, Did I make myself clear Issac." Lana said, staring at her son.

"Yes, Mom, But I will tell you something, You can’t stop what is going to happen." Issac said before he left.

Lana frowned hearing what her son said, What did he mean?’’ she wondered.

In the Pastel room, Alice sat next to her on the bed while Noah sat on the chair across the bed.

"I’m glad that you are alright." Alice said before she stood up.``I will go now, Take care of her, Noah." Alice said, winking at her cousin before she left the two of them alone.

After Alice left, Patel glanced at Noah wondering if going to stay.

"Does it hurt? Are you in pain?" Noah asked, concerned about seeing her pale face.

"No." Patel shook her head."Just tried." She signaled.

"I will leave to rest then." Noah said, offering her a warm smile."Good night." He added before he closed the door leaving.

Turning the light off, Patel lay down on the bed thinking about the voice she heard in her half-unconscious state. She also felt the strong arms that pulled her out of the bathtub but after that, she completely lost consciousness.

Lana said that she was the one who found her, But she heard a man’s voice. She wondered who he was or was she imagining because of the strong injury?.
