I Try To Enjoy My Life But This Woman Keep Calling Me Villain-Chapter 178: Aftermath
I keep looking at the sight in front of me as the [Big Bang] happening. This is the least spell I have ever used in the Second Life. Not only because I need to chant in real life but also because it takes time to cast.
A Raid boss is hard and needs every second to ensure the entire party survives. Every raid boss dungeon has negative debuffs that need to be watched out like [Burn], [Poison], or [Freeze] to cleanse, and as the main cleaning player in the party, I need to watch out for them unless my party member will die from that negative effect.
Casting this thing will take my attention away from the battlefield and will not be good for my party members, especially when fighting the boss, who keeps casting negative effects as if it were candy.
I hate that kind of boss because the only way my mana gets to its lowest point is when fighting that kind of boss.
I snap from my thoughts when I hear the cheer coming from the people around me. I shake my head and take out a communication scroll from my inventory. I tear it apart and connect with my companions, all of them.
"Jullian, Jonathan, Silva, Hilda, Sonia, it is me. The man next to you is not me but a summoned creature that copies my body and power. Don’t attack it and act like normal. If you cannot do that, just stay silent for a moment, as I will switch places in a minute or two."
I look at them and see them nodding their heads. I release a sigh and see the three Commander Lords walk toward me with huge smiles on their faces.
"Grandmaster! Thank you! Thank you so much for helping my people!"
Duke Itor shouts in excitement as he walks toward me.
"It is not a problem, Duke Itor. I’m happy to help. However, I think it is time for me to get back."
"Huh? Are you sure? Please stay here for a moment to celebrate with us."
"I’m sorry that I came here while doing an experiment with potions. If left alone for too long, it can explode and injure a lot of people. The only reason it is not exploding is because I put a spell around it."
Duke Itor wants to persuade me to stay, but it looks like my words get inside his head as he puts down his finger. He looks at me for a few seconds before releasing a sigh.
"I see. Then don’t let me hold you back. However, can you visit Belltown City after you are done with your potion experiment?"
"Of course."
"Then don’t let me hold you. Once again, thank you, Grandmaster."
"You are welcome."
I nod, fly high to the sky, and let the cloud cover me before casting a [Chameleon’s Skin] to make myself invisible. While still floating in the sky, I take out another communication scroll. This time, I connect it to the [Elder Doppelganger]. Before I can even say something, the [Elder Doppelganger] already expects me and says.
"O Summoner, what can I do for you?"
"Let’s switch. Thank you for your service, my friend."
"It is my honor, Summoner. It has been a while since I arrived in the material world. I will be waiting at the location of the portal to your palace."
Palace? Ah, he means my pocket dimension, huh?
"Very well."
I slowly get down and arrive in front of the small alley, where I open up my portal to the pocket dimension. I can see the [Elder Doppelganger] and cancel the [Chameleon’s Skin]. The [Elder Doppelganger] changes back into its original form, and I say.
"Thank you for your hard work."
"It is my pleasure, Summoner. Call me back when you need me once again."
"Of course."
I wave my hand as I see the [Elder Doppelganger] disappear into thin air. I nod and get inside my pocket dimension to change into my adventurer outfit. After that, I return to the wall and see my companion look at me in confusion.
I nod at them and give them a small smile. They look at me for a second before realization appears on their faces, and they nod at me.
"Ah, sir! Where have you gone?"
I look to the right and see Ander coming toward us. I smile at the young elf and say.
"Ah, I need to take a... detour for a... personal matter."
"What do you mean?"
"I need to throw away some water from my body."
Ander looks at me for a second before his face lights up.
"Ah! You need piss!"
I laugh a little as his companion’s face palms at his word. I shake my head and nod.
"Yeah. That is why I need to walk away from the wall. I cannot do that because I need to watch over you guys."
I stretch my body and continue.
"When the fight is over, I need to take care of the one that is injured."
"Ah, I don’t think you need to do that, Sir."
"What do you mean, Ander?"
"You remember that massive tree? That thing heals all of us. The people in this city are now one hundred percent healed, and you no longer need to heal anyone."
Right. I forget that I activate the [Star of Beginning] that makes all my AOE hit all my allies, and I designate the people in the city as my allies. Oh well, more time for relaxation for me.
"Adventurer Gwyn!"
I look to the side and see Duke Itor and Lord Benham walking toward me. They look around, and Duke Itor says.
"How many casualties in your unit?"
I look at Sonia, and she says.
"None, Duke Itor. We did not have anyone who died in battle."
"None! That is good news! That means we only lost one hundred and seventy-seven men in this fight. That is good news."
One hundred and seventy-seven, huh? That is indeed a low number, but it can be better. I can make sure there are no casualties, but this is not my place to do it. I’m not their god or lord. I’m just a guest, and I already make sure that they only have this many casualties. I’ve done enough for them.
"Thank you for your help! Without you guys, Belltown will be a grave! Thank you!"
I snap from my thoughts when I hear Duke Itor suddenly say with a loud voice. What makes the other shock is that he is bowing his head to us. A lord bowing their head is something so rare that it can be compared to a rare herb that only blooms when the moon turns red.
"With the fight is done! I now declare it is time for celebration!"
=//=
The celebration of our victory has been going on for hours. Duke Itor really means it when he says that today will be the day of celebration as there are a lot of wines and foods flowing through the city.
"Ah~ It is really a shame that the Grandmaster of Medicine did not come. I hope that he will come for tomorrow’s feast."
I can see Lord Benham and Lord Saharkan holding their laughter at Duke Itor’s words. It looks like they did not tell Duke Itor about my true identity. That is good and troublesome in the future because I did not know how to play all three roles at once. I wonder if the [Elder Doppelganger] wants to take the role of Gwyn, the adventurer.
I have forty scrolls to summon the [Elder Doppelganger]. With thirty-nine summons remaining, I can use six of them to take over my role as adventurer in this continent.
I will think about it later.
"What about you, Six Stars Party?"
"Hmmm?"
"You guys are the biggest contributor in this fight. I want to ask what you will do from now on?"
"Hmmm, I think we will continue to explore the kingdom and take missions from time to time."
"Explore the kingdom, huh?"
Duke Itor looks at me for a few seconds before nodding his head. It looks like he is planning something, huh? Let me put away his hope before it gets even bigger than necessary.
"Yup. We want to explore the world, you see? After exploring the Verlagan Kingdom, we will be back to our home before continuing to explore the world."
"Y-You are not from this kingdom?"
"Hmmm? No. We are from the Southern Continent. We are the citizens of the Gipan and Luzia Kingdom."
Duke Itor looks at us in shock before shaking his head and says.
"Gipan and Luzia Kingdom, you say? Did you know the identity of the Grandmaster of Medicine of the Gipan Kingdom?"
"We know because we are arriving here alongside him, but we will not tell you. We respect him and will not let anyone bother him. He will be the one telling you his identity and no one else."
Duke Itor releases a sigh and says.
"Oh well. That is a shame but understandable. Anyway, please enjoy the party!"
