Chapter 1810: The Forbidden Zone!

People training in these special areas leveled up two big cultivation bases in a two-month period. Hye knew the higher one climbed, the harder it would get to get stronger. And yet for these folks, it felt like such logic didn’t apply!

[Do you know what’s special about these regions?] As he couldn’t tell the reason, he sent this message to all of his friends. Most didn’t know the answer, but Isac and Karoline knew alongside the lady nymph.

[This belongs to the forbidden zone!] This was what the three of them sent back. And for a moment there he didn’t get it, but then it hit him.

"I totally forgot about that!" he muttered in a deep tone after the realization hit him. He recalled when he bought the entire territory, he bought sectors that belonged to the forbidden zone.

The forbidden zone was initially part of this universe, then after the war erupted, it was lost to the other universe. Then after long wars, this zone kept switching sides between the two universes, ending up being called the Forbidden Zone.

That zone was quite special, as it was invaded by the spirit power from the other universe. This meant that the region was the richest in the spirit power in the entire sectors he reigned over, the most suitable place for cultivation.

"That explains it then..." Realising this made him get lost in deep thoughts, "yet... There are just a few planets there, why?"

He still wasn’t aware how large a single sector was, yet he could tell there were very few planets in the Forbidden Zone sectors than others under his control.

He counted less than twenty planets in total! While the number would be over a hundred in other sectors. The sectors were lined up in the map his friends prepared for his territory, which included everything they registered, including planets, mines, and even meteorite belts.

"That region is rich in meteorite belts, yet very little planets..." he knew this was going to limit how he would take advantage of the gem and the Forbidden Zone combined effect. And he didn’t like that!

When he asked, he got an answer from Sara.

[I noticed the same, so asked the races which we found in our territory. They said thanks to the constant wars in this zone, the planets got destroyed, and those that existed got abandoned fearing any unexpected war...]

She explained in obvious logic the main reason behind such a weird occurrence. Hye realised this was a problem resulting from the rich war history this zone suffered from. And yet he wanted to change that!

He sent a message over to old Gan, asking if they could start making artificial planets using the research department. And yet what he got in return was tons of complaints from old Gan, about how endless the work assigned to the research department was.

Hye didn’t mind that, as he knew the research department was the cornerstone of his kingdom’s ambitious plans. He was forced to ask old Gan to try and find a way to make artificial planets, something that he didn’t get a response from the old man about.

"I don’t lack any bones, then why no one is willing to work with me?" Hye knew he was overstretching his luck with the research department with such requests. The technology behind making artificial planets was expected to be quite complicated and secretive. And when he bought these planets, he didn’t ask the department to watch and learn from people who installed them here.

His main focus back then was solely over the grand defensive formation. And now he regretted not being overly attentive about the importance of the artificial planets.

He thought his new territory wouldn’t run short of planets. How could he foresee such a problem he had now?

Hye knew such problems’ root came from the ban enforced on him from the big races in the universe. "I need to solve this problem once and for all..." he knew this situation shouldn’t continue for long, or else he would keep losing tons of chances.

For now, he instructed his friends to pick the most promising talents in cultivation from the grand armies and send them all to train over the few planets in the Forbidden Zone sectors.

He didn’t take back his warriors, kept them training and strengthening themselves.

As he had no clear way to solve this problem, the only solution he got was to ask for a meeting with his kingdom’s brilliant minds, convene all of them inside his flagship, discussing this problem thoroughly.

"... In the end, we managed to establish a massive area for us in the universe, yet we have no way to fully utilize it as we should," he ended his long speech with these words, "so let me know if any of you have a way to solve this."

"..." he kept talking for an hour, explaining everything related to this problem. His words were surprising for everyone, as they thought he was contemptuous of all the progress they achieved so far.

"Ahem, I believe we aren’t doing that bad," Legend was the first to speak up, "almost a year ago we were inside the Grand Earth world, and now we have a strong base belonging to us, we gained tons of spaceships, had lots of mines producing the U.stat crystals, not to mention we gained lots of forces as well."

"I agree with Legend," Isac looked at Hye in a meaningful way, "I believe what we lack is time. We scored it big in the past year, and I can’t honestly see how bad it was for us."

"Come on, you know him, he doesn’t like being stagnant at any point," Sara rolled her eyes, before adding, "he wants more, he won’t accept such situations and progress."

"Tell me about it!" Old Gan tiredly sighed, "you kept showering us with lots of hard to achieve tasks, to the extent that I’m running thin on minds working on all of this!"
