Then the metamorphosis comes.

The burned tissues and injuries on his left arm heal instantly thanks to the power of metamorphosis, getting itself ready to receive new power.

The tendon inside Blaze’s two arms lights up like an intense glow stick.

Each tendon blazes like there are a thousand volts going through them.

And then the electricity fuses into Blaze’s flesh. Veins bulge on his arms, they move under his skin like tiny worms, slowly rearranging themselves into Blaze’s new tissues.

His muscles constrict and breathe like they themselves have their own set of lungs.

Clear, spherical sweat pours out from Blaze’s pores like they are crystals.

Each runs on his arm like a snowball cascading down from the hill.

And then the yellow lightning shoots out uncontrollably.

It decimates all the orange boulders around and breaks the wall of these crevices.

Blaze’s two arms become stiff like two wooden trunks. Yellow lightning spasms out from every tissue of his arms, illuminating the entire area of desert.

Isaac glances over from the sky. He can see the intense light coming from the lightning and the sheer force they are spamming out to the local area.

He refocuses and keeps on flying, paying extra attention to the surrounding landscape.

Blaze can feel the sensation returning to his two arms. He tenses up the muscle and tries to control the storm of lightning exuded by his power.

He curls up the arm, and in doing so, also restricts the lightning power.

Sweat evaporates around his arm, forming a layer of transparent smoke floating out from the skin.

This time, the metamorphosis does not contain that much pain.

But the power also becomes uncontrollable and almost bursts out of Blaze’s own flesh.

It is a very different situation than the previous metamorphosis of the same line of power.

Force Impact was painless, only a tiny change in Blaze’s inner muscle.

Force Blast was the first huge change, with his entire arms becoming stronger and more muscular.

Force Shocker went deeper and touched inside the tendons and bones of his arms.

Thunder Force is a complete makeover. Since his body is already strong thanks to several metamorphoses, his arms did not experience many changes.

But he can feel that the structure of his tissues changed internally and the power Force Blast rearranged itself into an entirely different power.

Previously, all the Force Powers were similar to each other to an extent. And its evolved version is always an extension or enhancement of the previous power.

But the new power, Thunder Force, has completely changed this superpower.

The invisible force has become a Sub Power, and the lightning power replaced it as the main weapon.

Blaze is able to maintain control over the new power after a few minutes of wrestling with his own arms. It almost feels like he has to tame this power once again.

He successfully does so.

Blaze takes a deep breath and stands up straight. He opens his palm and aims at the wall of the crevice. Yellow lightning covers his entire arm and then converges into a single point in the front of his palm.

Then thunder roars, a big, thick yellow lightning bolt shoots out of the converging point and drills itself into the rocks.

It maintains a continuous stream of electricity without cutting. Blaze feels like he can continue this lightning stream for as long as he has the stamina.

This is completely different from the single-shot strike of the Destruction Wand.

The yellow lightning bolt of Thunder Force has a comparable power to the Lightning Strike of the Destruction Wand.

However, this superpower is more than meets the eye.

Each lightning bolt that shoots out will cause an energy explosion on impact. An invisible force is then created and causes more mayhem than a normal lightning bolt can do.

This is the power of the previous Force Blast that got converted to fit the new Thunder Force.

Blaze curls his fingers, a sphere of lightning materializes inside his palm.

He shoves his palm forward, sending the lightning ball away. It zips through the air, the speed is no slower than lightning speed.

The ball smashes on the crevice, and a storm of lightning bursts out, decimating everything in a five-meter radius.

Every piece of rock gets turned to dust, and a spherical hole now resides at the impact point.

Not only that, an invisible sphere of force spread out from the point of impact, crushing everything in its path until it lost all its power.

"This power... is very destructive."

Force Blast was also destructive, sure. But it in no way can be compared to Thunder Force.

Blaze then takes a look at his Status window.

Similar to when he upgraded the Force Blast, his Strength is enhanced again.

Blaze clenches his fist, and a tiny gust of wind spreads out. He can feel the pure power this hand is capable of.

Blaze then takes out the Destruction Wand.

Force Shocker was able to be combined with Lightning Strike. There is no reason that the new Thunder Force cannot.

Blaze aims the wand toward the sky. He has destroyed this canyon a lot, doing more may leave unnecessary traces. 𝙛𝓻𝒆𝓮𝒘𝙚𝙗𝒏𝙤𝙫𝓮𝒍.𝓬𝒐𝙢

Yellow lightning bolts reach out from his flesh and enter the bone wand.

A continuous hum of buzzing sound fills the air.

And then, thunder roars. This time, the blue lightning is no more.

Instead, a bright red lightning bolt appears and zips straight into the sky.

Its movement is almost instant. It draws a crooked line into the cloud layer above, splitting it in half and leaving an empty space.

Blaze wasn’t even able to observe its movement.

The lightning flashes and appears. Then it is gone in the blink of an eye.

If you’re not paying attention, you may not even be aware that there was lightning. You can only hear the thunderous noise it left behind.

The speed of the new Thunderbolt is insane. Almost no Awakened will even be able to dodge this attack.

Even a speedster will have a hard time. They need to have at least a speed of sound level to even imagine avoiding this lightning bolt.

Blaze keeps charging.

There were originally three levels of the Lightning Strike Hidden Power.

The first level, the yellow lightning, can shoot repeatedly for twelve times before needing to cool down.

The second level, the blue lightning, is when Blaze feeds the Force Shocker energy to the Destruction Wand.

The third level, the white lightning, can only be created when the wand is fed electricity until it can no longer take it. This takes quite a long time.

Now, Blaze tries to recreate the third level again with Thunder Force.

However, the Destruction Wand is at its limit. It can only absorb the yellow lightning from Blaze’s power for seven seconds.

Then, a thick purple line of lightning flashes.

This purple lightning bolt is wider than the red one but much thinner than the original third level, the white lightning bolt.

The white lightning bolt is huge and is almost the same size as an average adult.

The new third level, the purple lightning bolt, is only half that size.

It reaches the cloud layer and detonates.

And then, a strong shockwave is created and sweeps all the clouds away.

Isaac is sent to the ground due to the pure pressure the shock wave exerts. He finds a crevice to hide in, avoiding the shockwave.

From the impact point, several more purple lightning bolts spread out in a circle, striking everything that is visible and turning it into dust.

The purple lightning may not be as big as the white lightning.

But it is faster, more destructive, and in every way an upgrade from the original third-level charge.

It also only takes seven seconds, much shorter than the long time the white lightning originally needed.

"Interesting."

Blaze gently rubs the Destruction Wand. He names the new purple lightning the Violet Bolt.

He gets the idea from the title of one of the girls he has saved previously, Iris - the Violet Blade.
