Blaze stands still.

No lightning or thunder appears in this empty desert.

"I wonder..."

Suddenly an idea pops up in Blaze’s head.

Purple energy pours out from his body. Hugo and Anton materialize into the physical world.

They both drop down on one knee when they see Blaze.

"You call, Sire?" Hugo says.

"Your order is my command, Sire." Anton says.

"I need to test something. Stand still so that I strike you seven times with lightning bolts, Anton."

"Roger, Sire! Fire away!"

Hugo moves away, leaving space for Anton.

The bald servant bulks up his body, preparing himself for the attacks.

The two don’t even question Blaze about the reason behind this act. That is what a good servant should be like.

Blaze raises the Destruction Wand and starts blasting.

Seven yellow lightning strikes come and go very quickly. Anton doesn’t even feel a thing.

His Winged Dinosaur clone is durable, combined with his original power, Energy Dispersion, Anton only flinches a few times due to the bolts.

They can’t even leave a scratch on him.

Blaze takes a look at the System window.

Standing in front of Blaze, an identical version of himself from two days ago.

It is a 1.70 meters slightly fit body with no bodily shortcomings. This is what Blaze should look like without any of his past misfortune or any of the effects from other powers’ metamorphosis.

It looks ordinary.

Blaze aims his wand forward. The Clone automatically raises his left hand up.

A yellow lightning bolt breaks through the hand like paper and completely decimates it. The hand is detached from the body and is sent flying through the air.

Blaze glances over to the System window again.

The number does not go up at all. It seems like Genesis Legion cannot help Blaze in this case.

Blaze lets out a long sigh.

"Well. It was worth a try."

Blaze commands the Clone to go pick up its left arm.

The Clone also has another use before Blaze sends it away.

He lets Blaze-Zero drink the Blood Potion.

Blaze wants to check if the Blood Potion can regenerate lost limbs.

The amputated arm does not regrow, but instead a bump of flesh replaces its position.

Blaze takes out the Karambit and cuts off that ball of meat. This time, he attaches the original limbs back to Clone to check if they will reattach themselves.

This time, the answer is yes.

The limb takes a long time to regenerate but is functional in the end. The healing factor of the Blood Potion is able to reattach limbs.

Blaze then returns to the original position. He stretches out his left hand and holds the Destruction Wand with his right hand.

Blaze grinds his teeth. The Destruction Wand disappears, and the Blood Potion materializes in Blaze’s right palm.

He chugs the last one-third of the bottle.

The burning sensation on his left hand cools down, and tissues begin to form.

The flesh hole fills itself and slowly heals. The sharp pain calms down for each second that passes.

A minute goes by, and his hand is completely fine, what is left is only the memory of the pain from before.

The remaining electricity courses through his vein and gets absorbed by his arm.

Blaze can feel that his Force Shocker is slightly more powerful than before.

He glances at the System window.

This time, the attack works.

"Six lefts."

He stretches out his hand again. The Destruction Wand reappears.

He aims the wand carefully at his left hand, making sure his finger won’t be shot off.

Another thunder roars, and another hole is created.

This time, his hand is much more resilient and does not become a complete mess. He has gained a resistance to the yellow lightning somehow.

Blaze keeps on shooting.

The yellow lightning bolt flashes again and strikes the burning flesh.

The hole gets bigger, and Blaze can feel his muscles spasm uncontrollably due to the high-voltage electricity.

He does not stop. Blaze aims the wand at his forearms and continues.

Sweat pours out of his face, seeps out from under the white Tattered Mask.

The pain makes him stumble in place and almost causes Blaze to fall down.

He holds himself straight and shoots again.

The forearm is mostly intact, so it can take another shot.

Blaze’s left hand is shaking profusely. Both because of the agony and the electricity.

It pains him, but the forearm still has no hole yet.

Blaze does not hesitate and strikes again. A large chunk of the forearm is torn out. The burned, crispy meat flies out in the air.

Blaze buys another Blood Potion and takes another sip from it. He must be careful, or his entire arm may be disconnected.

"Four."

Blaze lets out a breath. He sits his butt on the dusty ground of the desert, waiting for his left arm to be healed.

This time, it is much slower than the first due to the volume of the injury being much larger.

It takes at least ten minutes for Blaze to feel the influence of the lightning disappear and for the arm to become well again.

He prepares mentally and stands up again, pointing the bone wand to his hand once more.

One yellow lightning bolt screams and decimates his palm.

Blaze has gained resistance from the previous strikes. His palm is only burned on the outside and isn’t penetrated at all.

Blaze blames this on the power Force Shocker, it is obviously absorbing the energy from the lightning to build more resistance.

A good sign that everything is going correctly.

Then the sixth thunder roars. Blaze’s hand becomes a mush again but with less damage to his inner tissues.

He aims the last lightning strike at his forearm.

"Seven!"

Blaze grinds his teeth and accepts the final wrath of the Destruction Wand.

The yellow lightning does not burn him nor pierce his flesh. Instead, the electricity dissipates into smaller yellow sparks that run around his body.

The tendons of his left hand light up like a Christmas tree, becoming visible under the skin.
