"Are the two of you alright?" Miguel asked curiously after seeing their sorry appearances.

Luna and Nova looked at each other before they nodded their heads.

"This is normal for us," Luna stated as though their current appearance was something normal.

Nova nodded her head in agreement as her gaze involuntarily shifted toward Aaliyah at the side. Even though she was just a Novice Advance Martial, her senses were still warning her of the danger that was constantly emitting around Aaliyah.

This was the same danger that she felt toward Edith.

However, even though Journey was the summoner, Luna could not detect any kind of danger from him at all. It was though he was just a normal person in her eyes. It was also the reason why she did not feel the need to reject the request yesterday as she did not think that he was a bad person.

"Anyway, we just came here to say that we still don’t have the Flame Fruit yet. However, we already have eyes on three of them and they are already ripe. It’s just there was a Giant Fire Gecko guarding it and it’s a Level 2 Bronze Grade Beast so we need extra time and preparation to kill it before we can properly harvest the Flame Fruits," Luna explained their reason for being there.

Nova nodded her head in agreement and continued, "We are worried that you might hire another team for the job so we came back to report, just in case. We should be able to obtain and deliver them by tomorrow if nothing in particular happens."

Miguel nodded his head upon hearing their words. Although he was surprised as to their lack of reaction toward their wounds, he recalled the rumors about their luck and realized that they might already be used to this kind of outcome every time they went out of the city to do missions or commissions.

"Don’t worry about it. I am not in a hurry to obtain it anyways," he said perfunctorily.

"Also, don’t you want to tend to your wounds first?"

There were burn marks around their shoulders and all over their bodies. The sides of their armor also have some melted parts to it. It was clear that they had fought a bitter battle with the Giant Fire Gecko before they decided to retreat.

Nova produced a bitter smile on her face as she stated, "Well, we have already treated it with some basic medicines. Compared to what we’ve been through before, these are just insignificant wounds. They should completely heal in a few days’ time."

Although she said that these were just small wounds, Miguel was still able to see through that the two of them were only trying to act tough. They were probably worried that he might search for another team to get some Flame Fruit if he knew that they were not doing fine. She had a wry smile on her face as she looked at Luna at the side. She gave him some facial expressions, asking if they should run for it.

He then turned toward Luna and said, "Come here. It would be unfair if I only heal her for free, right?’
