[BL] Seducing Male Leads To Survive As A Villain In A Novel-Chapter 371: Moonlight is beautiful
Everyone paused, staring at Leo. There was silence before he smiled and casually served a piece of meat from his plate to Eden’s plate.
"What?" Leo smiled as he stared at them all. "Scared that he’ll end up marrying me?"
"No," Lysander held Eden by the hand. "We’re already planning our marriage. And it’s going to be a blast."
Everyone had something fun to say, and they spent the moment laughing while enjoying the meal before them. It was a fun and lively scene as though Eden didn’t just wipe out a massive number of soldiers a while ago.
They collectively enjoyed the meal while they made claims on being Eden’s husband and why they qualified for it.
Eden, on the other hand, simply smiled without saying anything. He casually enjoyed his meal while the chaos happened.
Queen Elizabeth smiled while staring in his direction. "So Eden, instead of keeping quiet, why don’t you settle the scores on who you’re going to be taking home as your groom?"
They all stared at him. There was silence while they waited to hear what Eden had to say.
Eden took a bite from the meal before him and then looked up at them. He surveyed their curious expressions with a smile. And then he casually said, "Wait, why do I have to choose?"
Eden ran a hand through his chin. "If they all like me, why can’t I have them all? Because I think I’d also want that too."
He had a broad, confident smile as he stared at them all. He couldn’t make a choice, so Eden had decided he was okay with having them all.
Lysander smiled as he took his hands. "Whatever Eden decides works for me."
Adrian scoffed. "I’m okay with whatever as long as he’s okay with it."
Leo and Felix nodded without saying anything.
Elvis, on the other hand, patted Eden on the hair. "You’re quite greedy for a wifey. But I guess that’s okay."
Queen Elizabeth couldn’t help but smile in admiration at the scene. She shook her head while she looked away. "Kids these days always have something exciting happening. I guess the wedding will be happening sooner than ever. I have to begin making grand preparations for it then."
Helen, Lenny, and Cordelia looked at each other, blinking.
Helen sighed at Cordelia. "They’re always like that. But don’t worry, I think you’ll get used to it."
"I’m still not used to it. It traumatizes me every single time," Lenny shook his head and continued eating.
The atmosphere was fun till the end. And when they were done with the meal, Queen Elizabeth left with Elvis and Lysander.
They spent their time in the room, discussing and chatting up on lots of things: especially what had happened these past days.
Felix was with his father in their room. Helen was spending her time with Cordelia and Lenny. While Dave was with Leo.
It was night. So the two of them were standing by the balcony, staring up into the night sky in admiration.
They were quiet for a long time before Eden said, "Thanks."
"For what?" Leo stared at him.
"For a lot of things." Eden shrugged. "You’ve helped me a lot. From the event, I knew you indirectly helped us. And also at the academy and all... I’m grateful."
Leo smiled, staring at the sky. "No problem at all. You don’t have to mention it. I’m glad to help. As long as you’re happy with it."
They both smiled.
Leo then said, "I guess I owe it to you. You really did help me solve a major crisis in my life. You helped me answer the questions that kept me awake... and you also helped me find peace with myself." He smiled. "So... I should be more grateful to you."
Eden smiled. "I’m glad I could be of help."
Leo hesitated with a nod. "It’s strange."
"What is?" Eden stared at him, their eyes met.
"It’s just strange. I can’t help but recall the first time we met. I don’t know... you didn’t seem like someone I’d speak well with. Talk more of someone I would even want to help. It was like we were on opposite sides. But look at us, talking."
Eden said, "Well, I guess you never know. From the moments at the academy, I can say we make a really good team."
Leo hesitated with a smile and then said, "Team..." As though he was evaluating those words.
Silence engulfed them again as they stared into the sky. The moon was bright and beautiful tonight. And Leo couldn’t help but notice.
"The moonlight is beautiful tonight."
Eden hesitated. He couldn’t unhear those words. And his mind traveled far with those words. He couldn’t hold it in and said, "If you say it like that... how am I supposed to keep my heart from fluttering?"
Leo stared at him. "Huh?"
Eden smiled as he said, "You might not know, but those words... ’the moonlight is beautiful tonight’... in Japanese, it’s an expression that could mean..."
"I love you," Leo completed the statement. And Eden was rather shocked.
Eden stared up at him. "Oh. You know..."
Leo smiled. "I read far and wide. Of course I know that."
"Ah... thought as much," Eden nodded. "So you shouldn’t randomly use it if you don’t really mean..."
"But I mean it. That’s exactly what I wanted to say," Leo said with a smile as he stared at him. "Those words... are exactly what I wanted to say to you. I love you. And I really want to end up having you in my life... forever."
Eden paused. He shouldn’t be surprised, right? But he was, anyways. "Those words... I thought you were joking and didn’t really intend to marry me... I mean you don’t seem like one to..."
Before he could finish his words, Leo gently wrapped his hands around his waist and pulled him closer.
Eden gasped, his heart fluttered as Leo leaned in, pressing his lips against him. Before Eden could fully grasp what was happening, Leo pressed his lips deeper in for a kiss and let his tongue break into Eden’s mouth.
