I Became a Kindergarten Teacher for Monster Babies!-Chapter 502 Alina and Dante’s Speech
Boo floated closer immediately. "Yes. I am mentally strong."
Drake nodded seriously. "I can handle criticism."
Luna snorted. "No, you can’t."
Felix ignored her and raised one finger.
"First," he said slowly, "Drake would turn morning assembly into a war briefing."
Drake blinked. "That sounds efficient."
Felix continued, deadpan. "You would stand in front and say things like, today we conquer mathematics. Casualties expected."
Kelpie burst out laughing.
Lucien closed his eyes. "Accurate."
Felix raised a second finger.
"Second. Boo would install emotional surveillance."
Boo straightened proudly. "For class bonding."
Felix nodded. "You would float around whispering things like, I saw you not share your snack yesterday. Friendship level reduced."
Rocky looked genuinely distressed. "There is a friendship level?"
Felix raised a third finger.
"Third. You two together would absolutely call emergency meetings for useless reasons."
Drake frowned. "There are no useless reasons."
Felix looked at him flatly. "You once called an emergency meeting during recess because someone moved your pencil."
Drake defended himself immediately. "It was my favorite pencil. My great aunt gifted it to me."
Boo nodded. "Justice was required."
Felix raised a fourth finger.
"Fourth. The classroom would become loud."
Luna scoffed. "It is already loud."
Felix shook his head slowly. "No. It would become headache loud."
He pointed at Boo. "He talks."
Then at Drake. "He shouts."
Then at both. "Together? Earthquake."
Even Vlad Jr. coughed politely, hiding a smile.
"Alright," Dante said, his voice low and even. "I assume all of you are done discussing the advantages and disasters you could create."
A few nervous giggles slipped out, but no one dared speak.
Even Boo slowly lowered himself to a very respectful floating height.
Dante walked slowly toward Alina’s side, stopping just slightly ahead of her desk. His gaze moved across every single child in the room, not cold, but sharp and observant, like he was measuring something deeper than behavior.
Then his eyes rested on Vlad Jr.
"Vlad Jr.," he said calmly.
Vlad Jr. straightened immediately, standing up elegantly.
"Yes, Principal Sir," he said, bowing his head slightly.
Dante studied him for a moment longer, then nodded once.
"You have been chosen as Class Representative," he said. "That is not a title for pride. It is a title for responsibility."
Vlad Jr.’s expression grew more serious.
Dante turned slightly, addressing the whole class now.
"A Class Representative is not the strongest," he said. "Not the loudest. Not the most dramatic. And definitely not the one who offers snacks for votes."
Drake slowly lowered the snack box he was still holding.
Boo looked personally attacked.
Dante continued, completely unfazed.
"A Class Representative is the one who notices when someone is struggling before they say it," he said. "The one who speaks when something is unfair. The one who listens when others are speaking. And the one who stands calm when others are losing control."
His gaze briefly flicked toward Boo and Drake.
They both sat straighter instantly.
"Leadership," he continued, "is not about being followed. It is about being trusted."
The classroom stayed very quiet.
Even Felix was listening properly now.
Dante’s tone softened just slightly, almost imperceptibly.
"You are all powerful in your own ways," he said. "But power without control is danger. Power with control is protection."
Then he looked back at Vlad Jr.
"You were chosen because your classmates believe you will protect this class," he said. "Not rule it."
Vlad Jr.’s eyes shone, but he kept his composure, placing one hand over his chest.
"I will do my best, Principal Sir," he said quietly.
Dante gave a small nod.
Then he shifted his gaze to the rest of them.
"And for the rest of you," he said, "losing a vote does not mean you are less important. It means you have more time to learn what kind of leader you want to become."
Luna folded her arms but nodded once.
Drake scratched his cheek, thoughtful.
Boo whispered, "I would have been iconic though," under his breath.
Dante ignored him.
Finally, he stepped slightly back toward Alina, his presence beside her steady and grounded, like silent support.
"Make this class something you are proud of," he said simply.
Then after a small pause, his voice lowered just a little.
"And do not make your teacher regret trusting you."
Every single baby sat straighter.
"Yes, Principal Sir," came the uneven but determined chorus.
And beside him, Alina felt that warmth bloom in her chest.
"Do you have anything to say, Teacher?" Dante asked, looking at Alina.
Alina blinked when Dante asked, clearly not expecting the attention to shift to her so suddenly. For a moment she just looked at him, then at the babies, then back at him again, like she was deciding how serious she should be.
Then she let out a small breath and stood properly, folding her hands loosely in front of her.
"I don’t have a big speech prepared," she said honestly, glancing at the babies with a small, sheepish smile. "Or anything much to say."
That instantly relaxed the room.
"But," she added, her voice softer and more real, "I think this week you all were very noisy, very dramatic, very competitive, and very annoying sometimes."
Drake gasped.
Boo clutched his chest.
Luna growled under her breath.
"But," she repeated, and this time her eyes were gentle and quietly proud, "you all also tried very hard."
She looked at Boo.
"You tried to talk to everyone."
She looked at Drake.
"You tried to make everyone excited."
She looked at Luna.
"You tried to keep order in your own way."
Then she looked at Vlad Jr.
"And you tried to stay calm even when everyone else was not calm."
A tiny smile touched her lips.
"Class Representative is not a boss," she said simply. "It is a helper. If you help each other, then the class is already good, even without a CR."
She shifted her weight slightly, suddenly looking a little shy at how serious she sounded.
"And I am happy," she added quietly. "Because you are good babies. Even when you are the sweetest headache."
That broke the tension.
Soft giggles spread.
She cleared her throat quickly.
"Okay. Enough emotional talking," she said, waving her hand. "If I talk more, Boo will make a story about it."
"I already started mentally," Boo said proudly.
Alina covered her face for one second.
"Anyway," she muttered. "Class continues."
Beside her, Dante did not say anything, but his eyes were smiling as he looked at her.
